The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has been a very good experience in spite of giving up the Note 7. This has been the closest experience to the Note 7. Hope that Samsung will continue to bring updates to this device for all of us who had to step down due to the Note 7 issues. All we can do is hope that Samsung/Carriers will allow us to update when the newer devices are released in 2017 without the drama for not having current cellphone long enough even though individual stayed with a Samsung cellphone.

Great software, great hardware. Battery lasts all day with normal reasonable use.

As with most phones, it comes with bloatware that's maddening. Additionally, the instruction manual doesn't tell you all you need to know--got to search on line and good luck finding what you need if the problem's not standard. Annoyed me for weeks that though I thought I had it set up so ONLY text messages would alert me, it was alerted me out of the blue for a solid five minutes, every day, multiple times a day. In some cases, EVERY SINGLE MINUTE, MULTIPLE TIMES!!!. I checked and I had no new emails, no new texts, so I don't know why it was bothering me. Also, setting up the Yahoo email was impossible as it said I had to have POP3 turned on, but, of course, the instructions don't mention that and, so far, I've been unwilling to wait an hour at the Verizon store for them to fix it, so I check my mail at home on the computer. Maybe someday I'll spend a day at Verizon trying to get it fixed, but for now I just suck it up. Also, unlike my old Galaxy Notes, this screen cracked within 20 minutes of buying it when it fell out of my pocket (got it in the mail so hadn't even had the chance to buy a case.) very disappointing.

Went from a 5 to the 7 Edge. The battery lasts longer and I love the edge feature.
