Coming from a HTC ONE (m7), I was ready for something faster, sleeker, a better camera, a better battery, and better apps/accessories and with the Galaxy S7 Edge (Gold Platinum) I got all of that! The fast charger is awesome and the free VR glasses and Samsung exclusive apps were a great addition. I recommend it to everyone especially my iFriends. The camera is a great bragging feature. Can't wait until Best Buy in my area gets the charging stand pictured below.

Comparing picture quality to my old phone is like the difference between night and day. Everything seems to work faster and battery life is excellent. I would definitely recommend this product.

I thought that the edge thing was gimmicky at first. Now that I have one, it's actually pretty cool. I love the fast access to the things I need. Really great phone.

I was hesitant at first then as of today I am very happy with the purchase, nice looking phone, specially when you can add 256 memory card for long videos and lots of pictures. Highly recommend this S7. Battery charges fast.

After close to a month. My phone developed dark stripes across the screen. Seems thisnis an issue with this phone. I have to send it in for almost 2 weeks to have the screen replaced as its a hardware defect that Samsung knows about. I have to purchase another phone while this phone gets fixed as this is my business phone and cant afford to be without a phone. Dont understand why they wont just replace my defective phone.

Second best phone in the world

Despite her protests (my phone is just fine - I don't need a ndw one), I bought this S7 edge to replace my wife's old S4. She has been very pleased with the call quality (clarity and signal strength), and increased speed. She was initially put off by the increased size vs. her S4, but has now come to appreciate it, especially for showing off photos of the grand kids. She and her friends also have been astonished by the ease of use and quality of the pictures it takes as well. Good move by Samsung to return to expandable storage, BTW. Although I was hesitant because they didn't return to removable batteries as well, my wife seldom (maybe never) put the backup battery into her S4. Even better, the embedded battery in the S7 Edge holds a charge for a very long time (she can use it continuously starting at 8 a.m. and still be at 70% at 7 p.m.). The Qi quick charge feature further reduces the fear of losing battery power. Smartphones really have become our "multipurpose digital assistants" and this phone is a great reason why. Per the title of this review, I bought a Note 7 (the best phone in the world - also reviewed here on Best Buy) on Day 1. While I was waiting for the replacements to be released, I thought about just trading it in for an S7 Edge. Despite owning a Note 3 for three years, I never used the stylus that much and other than that feature, the lack of an iris scanner, and 32GB (vice 64GB) of internal memory, there's not much difference between the two phones. Because of the efficiency of Samsung's replacement process, I received my "non-exploding" Note 7 the first day it was available, but am confident I would have been very happy with the S7 Edge as well. This is really a great product.

I've used this phone for a few months now and overall I like this phone and it seems like the best option out there right now for a high end phone with a very 4K camera. Pros: Fast, big screen, easy to navigate, convenient microsd slot for expanded memory to quickly and easily take out of phone if needed to copy data. Also, charges fast, battery life is decent. 4K video quality and camera lens are sharp and clear. Cons: I don't like the curved edge as it seems more susceptible to getting damaged and cases and screen protectors don't fit very well. Also, the phone will overheat if video'ing in 4K for very long when it's sunny outside and it stops recording the video. Can't use image stabilization with the selfie camera. Can't change battery. Phone is overpriced like many other top of the line phones right now. Cell phone manufacturers and service providers are getting way too greedy! :(

Upgraded from Note 3 and S5 to this. I dont notice a real dif in performance vs my Note 3 (still use it, great phone), call quality (both sound from earpiece and for folks receiving ur calls) is better than Note 3 (louder and clearer). As for the S5 the S7 blows that away in every aspect...voice quality, performance, battery life, display, built in storage...the S5 was not a very good phone, low ram, battery was underpowered, call quality was poor (u sound like robot to other callers)... u wont be disappointed w S7 be sure to get the Edge for the larger battery!

    Best Galaxy Yet

My first smartphone was the original Samsung Galaxy. I became a huge fan of the brand and have stuck with them owning a Galaxy S3, Galaxy S5 and now the Galaxy S7 edge. I absolutely love this phone! Samsung never fails to disappoint me. This phone is super fast with an awesome processor, has the best camera that Samsung has had on the Galaxy yet. The screen is bigger than the S5 without being overly huge and the phone itself is actually very thin. minute I was a little apprehensive of the curved screen and its durability. however it has proven to be as durable as one can expect . I have a good case on mine and a screen protector. It has been dropped numerous times with no cracks no scratches. if you purchase this phone you will not be disappointed

Disclaimer - I have owned a Galaxy S2, S3, and S5 prior to purchasing the S7 Edge. As a Sprint user (with their specific type of signal) some phones I might have wanted to try such as the ASUS Zenfone 3 were not an option, at least as I determined by my best research. In saying that, I was looking for something different than the traditional design of the Galaxy series. When the Note 7 did not pan out, I turned to the Edge design for a little variety in the Galaxy platform. Excellent screen, holds charge very well with my consistent use, smooth function (no lagging), plenty of storage for my personal use, and the Micro SD card slot is an added benefit. I am well-pleased.

I'd had the Galaxy S3 since it first came out and it was starting to die, not holding a charge etc. Tried the Apple iPhone 7 for two weeks, liked it a lot, but didn't love it. BB had the Galaxy S7 edge, which I've wanted since it came out, on special over Black Friday-Cyber Monday weekend. I was able to get the phone I wanted, with a free Gear VR plus $50 worth of Occulus content AND a $400 gift card! I'm glad I waited!! The phone arrived in a couple of days and it is phenomenal! I'm on a Sprint plan and the call quality is great, features and built in useful tools are cool though I did disable some like Instagram and Samsung Pay. The camera is excellent, video is 4K, speaker for calls, music, YouTube etc is almost as good as the iPhone (which to me was it's best feature.) The screen for the S7 edge looks very cool, it's huge at 5.5", though it does take some getting used to holding it so you don't touch buttons when you're typing or swipping to text. The customization is endless; fonts, colors, themes etc etc. It's truly a mini computer. It was very fast on 4G connection and now that I finally have Internet (15mbps) this phone is lightning fast!! Streaming video to my phone or to Google Chromecast is a breeze. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a quality, high end phone that they use a lot like I do.

Love the speed and screen size. This is was obviously a big step up from the S5. I was not a fan of the S5 at all. I will say the camera on this is amazing! I don't really care for the curved screen, wish it was flat. I also don't like you can't remove the battery but I think that is every phone now. The battery is why I give each it 4 stars. This phone is fast and easy to use. If you are an android person you will love this phone.

I've had this phone for a little over a year now. Nothing has gone wrong at all. It still runs as fast as it did when I first bought it. The battery life is wonderful. Although I don't use the edge as much as I thought I would, it's still a nice feature to have. You can quickly get to your contacts, apps, check the weather, etc. Without having to go through the steps of pressing the home button and scrolling through all of your apps to find the one your looking for. It's just much easier.

I've had Samsung Galaxy S, the S3, the Note 4 and now the S7 Edge, and I've loved them all. I can't say that the Edge is anything special, but I LOVE everything else about the phone. It has the BEST camera I have ever seen on a phone, it's quick, it has the expandable storage and the battery life is by far the BEST I've seen so far as well.

The S7 Edge is a fantastic phone. -FAST -Great screen -Fantastic battery life -Waterproof -Wireless Charging -Credit Card payment built-in There's a lot of stuff to love. The only real negatives are the User Interface but that can certainly be a positive, as basic Android is pretty minimal.

My first smartphone was a Samsung Galaxy Epic and I was very disappointed in the battery life so made the switch to iPhone. I've been an iPhone user for several years and had become very disappointed in Apple's lack of innovation over the past few models and was experiencing issues with my 6S and Apple did noting to rectify my issues. Best Buy was having a promotion during the holidays and I decided to make the jump back to Android. So far I've been extremely happy with my decision. The Galaxy S7 Edge is the perfect size (larger than an iPhone but smaller than an iPhone Plus) and the battery life is much better than my wife's iPhone 6. The screen is vibrant and practically smudge proof and the coral blue color compliments a beautifully crafted phone. The camera takes fantastic pictures. Android has come a long way over the past few years and Google Play Music is fantastic. My son still has an iPhone 6 and after using my phone has decided he's switching to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on his next upgrade.
