I had a pretty good run going of having never broken a phone before (12 years perhaps). Unfortunately, I now wait out my contract with a cracked screen. I went with the curved screen because it was on sale, but in hindsight I would have aimed for something more traditional. The case is necessary not just for protection but for holding the phone. I found that I would have to carefully hold the edges of the phone so that I wouldn't accidentally touch the screen. The picture is also distorted on the edges. Some may like this but I for one do not see it being a thing. My phone's undoing came when I dropped it and it landed perfectly flat (no bounce). I had a sick feeling checking the screen fearing the worst. I've dropped other phones (S5, Galaxy Nexus) and the screen never broke. If I could do it again I would buy a case that covered the edges to protect it more... but then of course I would rather go one step further and forego the curved glass altogether. The performance, camera, picture quality, battery life are all very good.

This is the best Samsung Galaxy yet. I have used every galaxy except for the 6 which I felt was a let down since it left off waterproof and expandable memory. But this phone is by far the best yet, the edge is really cool to play with and the camera takes better pictures than some of my high end cameras. The battery life is fantastic as I can use it a ton and still be above 40-50%.

I upgraded to the S7 Edge this year and I'm very impressed. Its interesting to see how far we've come along with cell phones over the years. The phone has a great screen and plenty of storage. The only issue I have is with the Otter Box for this phone. It doesn't make things very easy when you have to push down on the phone for it to respond. The phone though is awesome.

I replaced a Galaxy S5, which worked well for more than 2 years (or was it 3?). Sold the S5 on EBay - it still worked great - and got well over $100. At the same time, I moved from AT&T to Verizon. There are small differences in Android implementation between the carriers. The phone works great, is easier to keep charged than the S5, and is fast when I'm playing games.

I was very excited to pre-order this phone. I had a Samsung 5 that I'd dropped too many times and it had issues. I received the phone and had terrible internet reception. Would not work in my house until I learned to turn the Bluetooth off. Email would open but that was it...I would have to use a tablet or computer to open a message further....example: I could see a Macy's email but not open it to the website by tapping on the email. This was finally resolved after 2 downloads from Samsung. The edge itself was too sensitive, but I got a phone case and its okay now. Still has Bluetooth issues...breaks connection very often during calls. Nice photos. Good size. Nice for games (haven't tried high tech games). Overall, now that they've worked the bugs out it is okay. Pretty much just like the Samsung 5 but when I see my friends IPhone and all the things they can do...I think the Samsung Edge is just okay. The Gear VR that came with it might be great for older teens or young adults but I was not impressed with it all and have never bothered with it since the initial time I opened the box.

Wow, I was babying my old S5 along for a long time, and now that I finally jumped to the S7 level (and the Edge at that), I am very happy with my phone again. The battery life is SO much better! Camera? Great. Screen clarity? Amazing. I thought it would be too bulky in my jeans pocket, but it really is just a tad larger than the non-Edge version, and fits just fine.

I went from my old HTC One (M7) to this. Gorgeous screen, it deliver outstanding overall performance for opening and running applications, flipping through menus and downloading apps/updates. I got a great deal with them. I will start shopping for my next phone at best buy from now on. Don't forget to refer a friend, some cell phone providers still offer great rewards.

Time for a new phone..Boo hoo..couldn't trade in Note 4 for Note 7 so....had to settle for 7 Edge. Well..I love it!! So glad this was my choice...no problem reading the screen and so many neat improvements. Physically it fits so much better in my hand and looks so sleek. I am extremely pleased.

Large screen and does things faster. I paid full price to avoid a contract & think samsung is over priced. I had previous a samsung & liked it so is why bought another one. The wireless charging is important to me & was built in.Last phone added it.

Having an Apple product for the past 2 years I had forgotten about the liberties Android devices afford the user. With that being said, I am happy to be back on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I typically like a smaller phone, but am perfectly fine with sacrificing size for the added function. I have expandable memory options now, great screen size and resolution, great camera quality, and the ability to customize my phone...can't believe it took me this long to come back!

I love my Samsung phone, and I switched from iPhone to this. Everything about it is easier, in my opinion, except for deleting. I have never had to work so hard to delete stuff! Maybe that's good, since it gives me time to decide if I really want to delete... I love the size; I love the edge; I love the screen - it's just a great phone all around. Try it! You'll like it!!

Better than my S6 Edge +, almost the same size but finally, I can add a mini SD card to this new 7. Way faster than my 6 but who knows with Google, my last phone, s6 Edge + locked me out, Google did, and I had to send it back to Samsung to get it unlocked, cost me $75. Kind of a pain, hope this one does not do it...but it's a Google control issue, not Samsung.

Went from a Galaxy 5 to the 7. So happy i diid. Battery life is better and fucntionality is easy to figure out. Would recommend this phone to anyone

I haven't had too much experience with smartphones, but this phone meets all my expectations. With what use I've given it, it's reliable and easy enough to use. It has a excellent camera, and a sleek, impressive design. The battery drains fairly fast, but that is probably natural. I haven't given it too much use yet, but for now, I am entirely satisfied.

Fast processor and enough space for usual use. The VR experience makes it a complete package. Silver looks sophisticated and graceful.

I switched from my iPhone 6 to the Galaxy when it was released. I've always owned iPhones and thought it was time for a switch. I read reviews on here and liked everything I read. The phone was amazing, great battery life, endless features, the best cameras, and you can personalize just about everything. I did end up returning it though because I missed my iPhone. If you love android devices be sure to try this. If you're an iOS fan then stick to the iphones.
