I upgraded from the Galaxy s6. Love this phone. So many great features, that I am still learning.

THE ONLY REAL PROBLEM IS THAT THE VOLUME IS TOO LOW EVEN AFTER TURNING IT UP ALL THE WAY.

it's basically the exact same phone as the s8, only the fingerprint sensor is in a better position

I purchased this device for testing at my job. The hardware is great but I do not enjoy all the extra things that Samsung puts on the device. My personal device is a Pixel 2 and I love the Android experience on there. Samsung should simplify the OS for people like me and make more of their proprietary stuff optional.

Nice Phone and a great update from my galaxy S5, so far I don't have any problem with it.

Has worked well for me for 1 1/2 years. No major issues, no overheating.

Faster downloading of email attachments. Faster response time when live streaming games.

For a beginner on this S9 phone it is difficult to use, especially for older persons.

Battery drains faster than my previous phone Oneplus 5. Otherwise great phone to use.

I'm a long term Samsung Galaxy customer that switched from iPhone and picked up my first Galaxy S3 phone many years back, I've owned the S6 and S8 phones. Decided to upgrade to S9 last year. The phone was what I expected from a new top of the line phone. Camera was ok, battery life was ok, I prefer Android over iOS, etc. One day I was charging it and noticed that it had stopped charging I tried couple of Samsung USB-C chargers and none worked. I used a wireless charger and it started charging. I contacted Samsung support since the product was still under the 1 year warrant and was directed to a local Best Buy (Geek Squad) that was a certified Samsung Repair shop. This is were things turned sour. The technician advised me that the charging port had burned out and would need to be replaced. The labor was covered but since the port had normal wear and tear the part was considered damaged and would not be covered. One of the reasons I decided to upgrade from my S8 was that the charging port on it had gone out 2 months after I purchased it and I was tired of having to charge it wirelessly (twice as long as usual). I took good care of my phone and know this was not due to any damage but straight out normal wear and tear. Needless to say, Samsung has pushed me away from their products based on the quality and customer service. This is the second phone in addition to two high-end HDTV's that I've had burn out because of low quality parts that burn out from normal use.

instructions could be more detailed and the phone should come with a car charger also
