I recently purchased the S9+ phone and I'm in love with it. The phone is slightly larger than my S7 which makes it easier to read and hold. The touch screen options are very similar to the S7 as well, so I feel ease of use. The cameras take beautifully clear pictures and the slow mode is fun. I would highly recommend this phone for anyone who enjoys the features in previous Samsung models.

Best Android Phone Today

This phone is arguably the best Android smartphone that you can buy today. It's like having a very portable, network-connected computer in your pocket. Plus it has a superior camera to other phones and most point-and-shoot cameras, and it has a superior screen display. I use the camera, Wifi, and Skype extensively when traveling abroad. My only beef (a minor one) is that there are so many apps and options, the processor is so fast and the screen is so sensitive, that you can inadvertently open unintended apps and features. It takes a while to become accustomed to all its features and to customize them to your preferences. BestBuy sometimes has the best discounts. You should also buy a high-quality protector case and screen protector to protect your investment.

I had to get a new phone as my S7 mysteriously disappeared about a month ago. I was using an old S4 but it was a dog. (No offense to dogs everywhere). The S9+ was on sale at Best Buy so I compared the S8 and S9 and decided to go with the S9+. I'm glad I did!! The screen is absolutely amazing, it's not heavy, it goes all day on a single charge, it loads apps and webpage quickly, etc. I can't say enough good things about this phone. Very pleased with the purchase.

I've had Galaxies for I don't know how many iterations now and I've always been happy with them. The 9+ is no different. The only two qualms I have are: It's a little too big *for me*... I don't have the biggest hands, so it's a little more difficult holding it in one hand and texting. This wouldn't be a problem for all people, and obviously many people LIKE larger phones.
Also, the camera doesn't capture photos on occasion. To be fair, other galaxies I've had have done this. You open the camera, press the button to snap a shot, the screen blinks as if it took the photo, and you go to your gallery later only to see it was never saved. Frustrating!
Overall though, great phone. Good battery life, super fast processor, the great cameras you've come to expect... would buy again.

I love the 9+ Galaxy phone. The size for me is the best. I use to have the Galaxy 7 but for some reason, the battery began to expand, so I got rid of it. The screen and camera are fantastic. The battery has a very long talk time. The only minor issues are:
I don't like where the Bixby button is located and when I travel to another time zone the time does not change. I have to correct the time manually. But 5

I upgraded from an S7 to the S9. My S7 could barely hold a charge all day and compared to the S9, has a very small screen. The S9+ is great! It's also pretty durable. It took me a while to get used to the new features, edge and Bixby (finally figured out how to disable both), but it was a good choice. I do miss doing everything single handed but this screen is awesome and the camera is even better.

Love love loved this phone. Sleek and just the right size. Color was nice and feminine. Fast processor and OMG camera took the best pictures. Unfortunately I dropped it outside a month ago and the screen cracked tried to get another one through my insurance but they were out of stock. Had to get something else. Would of preferred this phone again very user friendly

I happen to have the luxury of an android and iPhone family. This luxury gives me the opportunity to crossover. As a devoted iPhone user I could say with certainty that I wish my phone worked this smooth.
The Samsung galaxy phone has everything a power user would want speed, control, Great camera and good looks. The display is amazing on this phone and the pictures always look gorgeous. The OLED display allows for a viewing Experience second to none. Performance is high speed and Samsung offers some cool and quirky features that you’ll enjoy playing with.
The phone is all glamorous so definitely get a case because gorilla glass and all there’s no way you’re dropping this without breaking it unless you have a good case. My wife dropped her S8 that she love and unfortunately rather than repair it we upgraded. These are not cheap devices to fix so keep in mind that you’ll pay a price for not protecting your phone. Other than that it’s a flagship fun all the way

After reading up on this phone...I was shocked at the speed of the RAM, the standard internal storage PLUS the amount of storage that could be added. The colors are brilliant. Cameras are excellent. Love all the available built-in security. The sound is the best I've heard. The "speaker" is clear when on as well. It has a ton of bloatware but it is easily turned off. I turned almost all of it off. MIne is on Firefox and protected by Webroot. I search on DuckDuckGo. I purchased the case elsewhere online for $8. This phone was on sale for $200 off at Best Buy so I ordered online and picked it up at the Speedway Indiana store. After getting the phone from the cashier I went to the "phone" counter and was helped by an incredible employee ~ Jailynn. I love this phone. Go get 1 while on sale before they are gone. I should've never left Samsung & now I never will. By the way compare the S9 and the S9+ on the Best Buy webpage. The S9+ really out-specs the regular S9 ! You will get the S9+ ~ seriously worth the couple extra dollars.

This is the fourth Galaxy phone I have owned and the very best so far. I have owned the S3, S5, S7 Edge and now the S9. Screen resolution and camera couldn't get any better and it can run multiple apps with ease. The UI has never had so many customizations, and the battery life is incomparible to any phone I have owned. It's a beautiful piece of technology!

Samsung has again knocked this one out of the park. This is the 3rd samsung phone that I have owned and it only gets better and better. The speed of the phone, the camera and the overall performance is outstanding. I'm learning new tricks every day. Looking forward to the next one already. Thanks Best Buy, this was the quickest purchase of a phone ever.

I've been a long time Samsung fan and I've lived every product I've ever purchased from them and this phone is no different.
The build is solid and the display is crisp and responsive between switching apps or even switching to the camera so great performance and great capture with tons of settings to play with.
I would highly recommend getting a phone cover asap as the outer shell and screen of this phone is very very slippery and does not sit still on surfaces with slight inclines or laps. Very pretty to look at, but that slippery surface can give you anxieties.
Overall it was a great buy and for 300 off the original price it was the best deal offered at Best Buy and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable helping me decide on my next upgrade.

My old S5 finally pootered out...it was time for a new phone. I love Samsung products and finally decided on the S9+. I am still amazed how a phone can be a mini computer!
I don't put a lot of apps on my phone...just a few. When running them everything seems to run very quick. It takes an extra memory card which is very handy considering I take a lot of pictures. One of the features that was VERY important to me was the camera. I am still learning and playing...but so far so good! I ride horses and my bicycle so there are a lot of places I am snapping pictures...while moving.
Why not a 5 rating? My S5 was able to take pictures with a touch on the screen - anywhere. No button...just tap the screen. I was able to put the 'floating button' on this phone but it isn't the same. I really wish Samsung would bring back the touch screen pic taking feature. I am not understanding why you would give us something so awesome then take it away?
The other thing is the curved edge. Typing on this phone is very different...the keyboard is very close to the curved edge so I have to hit things just right. Could the screen protector be causing this? Will never know because I am not taking it off to find out.
Would I buy the phone again? Yes I would!

I kept my Galaxy S5 as long as I could. I only upgraded because the battery was draining in just a few hours. I bought several "new" ones for it, but none helped.
Transferred all apps and pics and contacts, etc. Disappointing was my favorite game did not carry my 2700+ levels over (I don't think any game carried that info over). Had to start at one, again. My fear of this was the main reason I did not upgrade sooner.
The S9+ is very fast compared to the S5. Of course, I skipped a few models in between, so it is more noticeable.
I had it for a few weeks, now. It takes a bit to learn the vast amount that the phone has to offer. Actually, I find it is easier, or faster, to just use old methods as opposed to learning the new way, or the "new feature" way. As an example, I thought the edge panel would be very useful, however, I find I am not using it. I am accessing all of those things on it the way I did on my old phone.
There is just so much more on this phone that I will be learning it probably until it's time to get the next upgrade because the battery will not hold a charge again. Or, maybe because the phone can't keep up with the new stuff that's put on it and it takes a lot of power (battery life) for it to even make it happen.
Anyway, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ is a super great phone. I heard a lot of good about it before I upgraded to it. Everything I heard was true.

I loved this phone very much. The camera is amazing, the interface is very user friendly, and the possibilities are endless. Loved the big screen and the improved slow motion camera. It's really easy to use Bixby for all my reminders, something that I didn't have with my previous phone. Don't regret getting this phone at all.

I am coming from an S8 so the upgrade wasn't a huge one for me. But I will say, like the S8 this is a great phone. It is a bit faster and I do get better battery life on the S9 even though the battery is the same size. Guess that is some of the power consumption optimizations made to the Snapdragon 845 and Android Oreo.
For the most part with a custom launcher you can get an almost vanilla Android experience.
The biggest compliant is the Bixby button. If Samsung insists on putting this on all of their phones they could at least let us remap it to something else like the camera or flashlight or something useful like that.

The phone is excellent. The only drawback is that I don't like the background which is too white and bright. I wish the background in most places was darker with bright letters which is comfortable to eyes. Other than that there is everything great. For phones you can have several type memories, easy to switch keypad for more languages, clock appearance all the time, Easilty syncs to your accounts, specially google. Enough disk memory but still you can put SD card that can be put in laptop and provide very easy data transfer. Also real memory 6GB will keep phone lot faster. When you use alarms, you can snooze very easily just by touch. There are several good items, not sure where you stop. It is known that camera is superb anyway specially making videos. Phone is actually free of restrictions which are in iPhone. Like for music you can upload your mp3 files on sd card or phone memory from you computer and use it.

I upgraded from an LG G6 and I was reluctant to purchase because of the similarities to the s8, but upon purchase I got the s9 but I found s9+ better fitting in my hand. In terms of my reluctance I'm happy to say they made it new enough that I dont feel like I should have waited another year. The camera is amazing, as expected and the small new features and aesthetic updates are pretty useful. Battery is great, everything is great. I'm very happy with my phone!
