So I went to the sprint store and their attitude sucked so I went to best buy just to look, a gentlemen ask if I needed help or had questions and I did so I decided to go with the galaxy s9 + , he was more of the att guy so a young lady came to help me finish the transaction and transfer all of my contacts and apps which she did a great job. So I get home and i'm roaming, mind you that I have 4 lines and the other 3 were working fine so i waited almost a week and went back to see what the problem was. The sales guy tells me that there is nothing they can do because is working fine at the store. I speak to the manager and explain the situation, I should not have to drive 8 miles from my home to get a signal which he agreed and asked the gentleman to exchange it and in the process find the problem, the young lady who activated the phone had activated a galaxy s9 and not the s9 + so I get the new one and all is well. A simple mistake, it happens. Overall great service and a better deal than at the sprint store. In 2 months my son is getting the same phone. This s9 + is amazing. Big memory , beautiful screen, nice size and battery last a long time. Great job Samsung. And great job Best Buy.

    "Bad Build"

I had been pleased with my old Galaxy S5 for years, but, unfortunately,it was beginning to "lag", and it's performance was no longer "up to par",so I waited until the release of the S9 before I upgraded. It was an AMAZING disappointment for me when, after waiting a year for the release of the S9, and pre-ordering my phone, I discovered that: 1. The touch screen would only work when the phone was held "upright". 2. After fully charging the battery, the charge was down to 75% after only 3 hours. I contacted Sprint, whose reps diligently attempted to "trouble shoot" the issues, but their technical department finally gave up, and referred me to Samsung. The rep for Samsung simply stated, "Unfortunately, you got a "bad phone", just take it back to Best Buy." Which, after having had the phone for only 24 hours, I did. Like any other device created by a human being, sometimes you get a "lemon". My review is an honest evaluation of one "inferior" item, in a long line of what is, in my opinion, a superior product. I can not, of course, recommend the S9 phone that I received. P.S. Don't get me wrong, I am still a "die-hard" Galaxy fan, although Best Buy had sold out of all black Galaxy S9 phones, I opted for the black S9+, with which I have not had a problem at all, it is AWESOME!

I upgraded from an S5 Sport to the S9 and I'm glad I did. It was down to this or the Google Pixel 2, mostly for the camera, but once I got to hold them in person the choice was simple. The Galaxy feels solid, and is very high quality construction and design. The "lilac" is really more of a pink shade, and it's got this metallic sheen that really looks slick. The body feels great. The screen is gorgeous and it's lightning fast. Shockingly, not TOO much bloatware, even with sprint (who I like but who have been bad with bloat in the past). The low light photos were what I was worried about, and it looks like I didn't need to worry at all. They look great. You can actually see more in the picture than you can in real life thanks to how the device processes the light. AND. Big deal here: it actually has a headphone jack. I can't believe it's the only one, but there ya go. Comes with sweet tangle free headphones too.

I was looking at the S8 or S9 and with the plan I have, the S9 was only 80 cents more expensive so I went with the S9. I've been an android user for over 5 years now and this phone works great. My only gripe is the camera. I got this phone so I could take pictures of animals and low light photos. Any movement at all, even slightly, the camera catches it and most of my pictures come out blurry. Unless I'm taking a picture of something completely stationary, I can get a great picture. The camera quality is mostly good, but the movement is an issue for me. I need a faster shutter speed. Overall, I'd recommend the phone, but I have to cut one star for the camera quality. I'm honestly hoping this is just 'user error' and I can somehow fix it by adjusting the settings, but I was hoping for more out of the camera in low light and slight movement.

I have been through several flagship phones in the past 6 years... The Galaxy S5, The LG G5, and now the Galaxy S9. This phone is absolutely fantastic! Solid performance, generous storage (with SD Slot!!), great battery life, and a gigantic screen for the size of the device. There's a tiny area on top & bottom of the phone that isn't part of the display, but the usable screen is about 98% of the front of the device. My only complaint is the Bixby button. It's always getting pressed by mistake, so I ended up having to sign up for a Samsung Account, setting up Bixby, and digging through the settings JUST to turn off the button.

I don't even know where to begin but this phone, galaxy S9 is so amazing. The most played with feature is the camera and I really love it! If I could submerge this phone in water longer than the allowed time, I would just to test out the camera in the pool but that's what they made phone covers for right? I absolutely love the focus feature because it blurs out the background to focus on what you're aiming to snap. Only given 4 stars because I haven't had to chance to play with any other features.

The Galaxy S8 comes in really nicely packaged, as for arriving at your home its encased in a cardboard box but the actual Galaxy S8 box is nicely placed in it with bubble wrap and a cushion to not damage the content. The actual box that the phone comes in is really nice, displaying the "S8" logo really nicely with its blue filling color, bonding with the black box beautifully. It really got me excited just pulling the box open, and seeing the phone right in front of my eyes. Pulling out the phone you get several items and all of them are packaged beautifully. Truly does feel like a premium phone comparing it to several budget phone boxes.

I've always been a big fan of Samsung products and the S9 doesn't disappoint. My favorite feature has to be the camera. The clarity you get and the crispness of the pictures is awesome. The phone has way more to offer than I'll ever utilize but it's always nice to know they're there. The one downside that I absolutely dislike and is very annoying is Bixby and the stupid Bixby side key. Grrrr I know you can turn it off, which I did, but you have to set it up before you can shut it down. In the end it doesn't even matter because I'll forever be an Android/Samsung user.

Had a great experience purchasing the phone through the BB store in Pleasant Hill, California. The rep was very knowledgeable and really easy to talk to. The phone has been good so far. The battery has been fantastic, lasting a solid 24 hours - charging it for a couple hours before bedtime and then lasting the while next day. Only real glitch would be the Samsung Restore from backup that restored all the apps, but some of them were missing a lot of recent data. Worse was it not restoring any of the Galaxy Watch data and it wiped all the watch faces when I connected it to the new phone.

I upgraded my phone from a Galaxy S6 to the S9 and, so far, I am very satisfied. It has twice as much memory as my old phone so I don't have to lose anything. When my data was copied over, I got all my information, but some of my apps required me to go through a setup again. It was hard to remember all my old passwords and settings. I thought that would have transferred, too. I have the purple phone, which looks very nice, but I really wanted the blue one. I guess everyone else did, too! Overall, it's a lot like the S6 with technology updates.

Back and front cameras produce good quality pictures. Glad that Samsung has kept the SD card slot in their phones and the slim profile. As much as I didn't like that I had to buy yet another charging cord due to the change that was made to the Type C port with the Galaxy S8, I actually do like the fact you can plug it in either direction. It's taking a little getting used to not having the "Home" button readily available but my son who has the S8 helped me learn how to use my new S9. Overall, a really nice phone.

I openly admit that I am not a connoisseur of phones and use only about 15% of the features available on modern phones. With that said, I do like the S9 here because everything I need is accessible and customizable in a few easy finger-taps and, thus far, it has been without glitches. I listen to "lossless" audio (FLAC files) and Google Play Music supports these as well as their tags which is the predominant feature that drew me to the Galaxy phone (as opposed to the iPhone which does not support FLAC).

Upgraded from an S5, and this phone is visually better. The screen definition is awesome. Great camera. 64gb is plenty. My big problem is the curved screen. It's impossible to completely protect. No case on the market protects it adequately. Not sure what Samsungs engineers were thinking. I'm carrying around a delicate fragile expensive piece of glass. Handle with extreme care!

Best buy provided great deals on Samsung S9 and very much impressed with the phone. Always, samsung rocks with their solid performance and camera quality. I was little disappointed with the battery life of the phone. By mistake will click the side button turn on Bixby. It is very annoying at certain movements. Otherwise, the phone is absolutely fantastic. Samsung again made a great phone with a good value for money and making new customers.

Upgraded from a galaxy S7 to this S9, and I've been extremely happy so far. It's a very good phone and I've noticed that it take awesome pictures by default, w/out me having to mess with any settings! The only downside to it is, I wish they wouldn't have added a dedicated button on the left side for bixby. I don't use bixby, and I accidentally push that button from time to time. But it's not a deal breaker for me at all. Maybe in time, my and bixby will become friends! ;-)

I love all Samsung phones. I just upgraded to the Galaxy S9 and of course it's awesome. I've only had it about a week and the only thing I can complain about is that I can't change the background color or text bubbles in messaging. They have apps for this but I'd rather it already be in the Samsung settings, as my other Galaxy phones already had. Great phone otherwise! Never disappointed in Samsung Galaxy phones!

This is my first cell phone other than a flip phone before. I have only been using for about 3 weeks and being new to the features, I am very happy with this cell phone. I intend to learn more of the features, but as I say being new to this type of cell phone I truly love the texting aspect. I do recommend having the Stylus pen for using on the keyboard. Will write another review later when I use the camera and other features.

Love the color and style of this phone and the camera is amazingly clear pictures and easy to use. Very light and thin but comes with a lot of apps available and can be used so easily. The brand is amazing for speed and so easy to learn. Will definitely stay with Samsung in the future. Really happy with this purchase and would recommend to everyone. I prefer an android phone and this is the best I have ever had.

Soooo it is small, but that's ok for some. The downfall is that it doesn't have the camera that the plus version has. This is ok for some, but a bummer in my gifting situation. All touch screen is good for some, myself included, but a bummer in my gifting situation. Catch my pattern? It's still good just not as much for the person i gifted it to. Make sure you look for the options you truly want and you should be good.

Not a lot to complain about. overall great phone. Bought it on the black friday deal which was amazing. My complaints (mostly opinions): I'm not really a big fan of the AR emoji thing. They are kind of ugly actually & pretty lame/basic. I also don't like the way they've only been making a curved screen with no option for a normal screen. Last complaint would be that I feel as though the battery life goes by really fast.
