Nice phone I have had it almost 2 years and it works great!

I will be honest, I thought about switching to an apple phone for my last upgrade because I wanted to feel like I got a new phone instead of just a slightly faster version of my last phone. However, I have been nothing but absolutely pleased with upgrading from the s7 to the s9plus. It has an amazing camera and it is fast. The screen size makes it easier to read and it just honestly a wonderful phone.

Great pictures, fast and planty of storage. Easy to use holds a charge all day.

I absolutely am in love with my S9+, I feel like everything is way better on the phone, phone is no too big not too small, the pictures are awesome, the battery life is way better. Still learning how to use some of the newer features, but an awesome phone

After 3 1/2 years, my Galaxy 6 phone started telling me it was tired of living. I bought the Galaxy 9+ and really like it. Bigger screen, better camera, more customizable in general. The only thing I miss is the hard home button. The new home button isn't a button at all and you can't see it when the phone is sleeping, do it takes sever as l stabs with the finger to find it.

If you're wondering which phone I should get between the iPhone 8 / X or the new Samsung, there really is no competition. Samsung beats Apple in everything and this phone does it all. Everyday I learn something new about the phone. It's so quick, responsive, takes great pictures and the batter life is amazing. I would highly recommend the S9 or the S9+ if you're looking for a new phone.

We upgraded from the galaxy S7 to the S9+ and are very happy with them.

I jumped a few models to get to the S9+ so of course, everything is so much better on this phone. The rounded screen, battery life, clear and large screen are just a few of the things that I really like. I am looking forward to learning all the ins and outs of this awesome phone.

The upgrade from s9 to s9 plus is worth that extra space in my opinion. The phone is clear. The camera takes amazing pics even in the dark. Battery lasts for a long time. I think I went two days with mild use and not charging it. If you have an older Samsung I highly recommend taking the plunge and upgrading. Thrilled I did!

There are 6 of us in my family. As you can imagine, our tech bills are pretty high. With 3 high school juniors and a college sophomore, we need good high tech devices. I always compromised on my phone because I thought I can live with a standard phone as long as it can make calls and texts. Let my kids have the better technology and we'll save on the bills by me having a lesser quality phone. Well, it was time for me to get the upgrade and Best Buy's deal on the Samsung Galaxy 9 + was BETTER than getting it from the Verizon store (and I'm a former Verizon employee with a discount still). I thought "it's time for dip my toes into the 21st century." So I did. Why did I wait so long to get a fantastic phone? The call quality is amazing, the feel and touch of the screen makes texting easy. I can even talk to text if I don't feel like typing. The camera and video have blown me away with the results I've gotten. I take better pics and video than the camera I had been using so I get a twofer out of one piece of equipment. At 57, that's a plus for me as I'm starting to downsize everything in my life. Why have 3 devices when one can do the job BETTER than the 3 I have? Makes sense to me! Samsung has outdone themselves. To top it off, I dealt with the most knowledgeable, friendly sales consultant who was able to transfer my contacts and all my info from my prior device quickly and efficiently. He gave me a quick tour of the phone and showed me how to use the features I needed to. It got me started on my fantastic journey with the Samsung Galaxy S9+. I've learned other things from seeeing more online demostrations and reading the user's guide. Some features are nice, not necessary at this tme. BUT I at least have them IF I ever do need them. so the phone can grow with me as my needs change. That's called value and he was able to promote the product and Best Buy in such a positive manner that I'm writing the store manager a commendation letter for this young man. Overall, a wonderful retail experience, a wonderful phone...and one very satisfied Best Buy customer!

I had s8, but only reason I upgraded was I had a cracked screen. Otherwise I don't really see a NEED to upgrade if you have the s8. Unless you want to go up to the s9+. You would get a bigger battery life and screen. The camera would also be an upgrade. But I'm not sure if it's worth it at that price tag with or without discounts.

First, this is a terrific phone! I have very few complaints. It is a million times better than the Motorola Droid Turbo II that I traded in for the S9+. It's much faster, does not glitch, the battery is super long and the photos are incredibly sharp, with excellent quality. Second, this is the first time I got the phone through Best Buy, versus directly through Verizon and I'm very pleased with my experience. Customer service is much better than Verizon. Emerald, the manager, knows her stuff, was very professional and set me up with an experienced tech to complete the installation and data transfer. Best of all, I was able to make an appointment to get all this done, so there was no waiting around. Oh and, Best Buy had better incentives than Verizon, which helped me save $150. When it's time for my next phone, I'm definitely coming back to Best Buy, and so far...Samsung!

Originally had a NOTE 8 and loved it. My wife had a NOTE 5 and the display was going on it. Anways it was time for a new smartphone for her. Even though I loved my NOTE 8, I really did not use the S Pen that much, thus I asked if she wanted the NOTE 8 and I would get a Galaxy S9 Plus (I was really waiting for the Galaxy S10 Plus with in-screen FingerPrint Reader etc) and she was okay with that. Yeah early new phone for me!!.. We then went by Best Buy and found out that they had the latest Galaxy Note/S series on sale and I ended up with the Galaxy S9 Plus in Coral Blue. I have been a recently converted Android user and will remain since in my opinion, Androids are better for business users. Had the S9 Plus for a few weeks and I love it, 256GB microsd card, Android Oreo and super fast speed and all that other good stuff. Found that there have been maybe too many updates lately. I highly recommend the guys that work in the Smartphone Dept at Best Buy (Paramus) and also highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Series.. Cheers !

Another year another S. I had an s7 and skipped the s8. But got a great deal on the s9 and so upgraded. Love it. Camera is much improved, battery lasts longer, screen is easier to type on. It'll be my phone until at least the s11 or s12!

Upgraded from Samsung 6 Edge+ and love that they kept the curved screen and size. Fast transition alternating through different apps. Great camera with features that I haven't even tapped into yet and am excited to tap into. Easy to learn the added features through the Samsung+ app or youtube.

This phone is amazing. The speed seems to never decrease, just like the battery. After 3 days of playing Pokemon Go on it, I was still at 9%. Then, the fast charging kicked in. Within 45 minutes on a charger, I was at 100% battery again. Photos and videos are amazing. Wonderful phone.

The screen is amazing. Takes very nice pictures. Battery life is quite good. The performance is noticeably more responsive than an S7. The fingerprint reader on the back takes a while to get used to.

For the most part....this phone is leaps and bounds better than my 4 year old Galaxy 5. Features are good, options meet my needs, camera is much better (but not critical for my use). I love the battery/power management...not unusual to see 90% battery at noon....or later. Of course, I'm not glued to my phone like many. As with most phones today, they don't offer replaceable batteries which is why I'll never give a 5 star rating to a phone that doesn't. This is where cell manufactures are fleecing consumers. A replacement battery option extends ownership another 2 or more years....but manufactures can't afford this....they need your non-replaceable battery to die after a couple of years....forcing owners to purchase another phone every 2 years....$$$$$!!! I've used cell phones since 1992....and the averages battery life is 2 years. I can almost put a clock on when my battery will stop holding a good charge....24-30 months. Seems odd....almost as if someone applied a software update to cause this. (Sounds familiar...right?)
