I still haven't had a chance to fully utilize my new phone because of the awful screen protector, but thus far I'm incredibly happy with the S9. I only use my phone for the basics (social media, calls, texts and games) and this phone does all of those things at faster speeds and with higher resolution. The camera is much better than previous iterations, and while I haven't fully explored Bixby, I love the idea of having the world at my fingertips.

Still discovering it's capabilities and amazed at how easy it is to use and enjoy. I find myself preferring to use the S9 instead of my tablet because it is so easy to sign in to accounts using my fingerprint rather than manually entering a password. Battery seems to last forever (not really, but I am impressed with battery longevity). Conveniently, deletions occur immediately without having to confirm--makes for quick review of emails.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is a fabulous phone. The screen is super sharp, the operating system is lightening fast. The color is wonderful. The phone is well constructed and reasonable water resistant as I have had it in the rain, but I am not going swimming with it. It is somewhat slippery but enclosing it in a good case cures that issue. The battery is very long lived. You can add to the standard 64 GB up to 400 GB with a microSD card

Love this Samsung Galaxy! The size and design are perfect for me. Very easy to move around between apps.

upgraded from the s5 and what a difference in speed of course my s5 was real old but i had it over six years and it still held up to standards only got rid of it because the battery kept dying too fast s9battery is a charm lasts a long time love it, and i love that i can use a wireless charger that's a great plus the feel of phone is nice and light, and i'm still learning how to use it but love it my son has the 7 and keeps asking me to trade no way will i do it this phone is great even for an old lady like me

Great camera, good battery life, fast connectio. Too many apps that are pre loaded and can't be removed. Bixby is a pain.

Upgrading from S7. Even though the S9 isnt Samsung's newest phone, the phone still clearly meets my needs with a bright screen, fast responsiveness, and quality rear camera. Did have a bit of an issue regarding the software updates constantly asking to update (although it was current) and then failing to download. It was ruining my phone experience and just about had it when I got it squared away recently. All in all, a good phone for a great deal at Best Buy.

The S9 is a great phone. It is fast, has a nice camera, is small enough to fit in my pocket, and it looks great.

I needed to upgrade because of battery problems with my S7. The S9 is definitely faster and provides smoother operation. So far, the phone doesn't get hot like my S7 did from the start and the battery seems to have longer life too. Very happy that I upgraded.

I couldn't wait to get this phone! The camera is great. The battery life is excellent and it's very quick.

I love galaxy phones. Always have. The keyboard needs some work. It is definitely not good for swipe. But I love the advanced messaging feature of knowing when someone is typing on the other end, and when they have left you on "read" Haha. Also Bixby is very helpful. You may think she is glitchy but you just have to up her sensitivity to your voice and the problem will be fixed. The camera is great, being able to make your own gifs is awesome. And the phone itself runs pretty fast. Not much lag at all. I think there is room for improvement in the keyboard area, and sometimes the Samsung pass of saved passwords and usernames isnt correct. But overall its a solid phone and I love it

Moving from an S6 Active to this S9 adds some great features. The screen is bigger and has a clear, beautiful picture. The camera takes amazing pictures. I like the security it adds that the S6 Active did not have. I would rather not have the infinity, rounded type edge screen. It looks like that will have to be minded more to keep from accidentally cracking when dropped. We'll see with time.

This phone is sleek looking and fast. I love it so far. I went from a galaxy s6 active to this s9. I did not get the plus, bigger is not better for me, plus the phone is big enough! Perfect size and super slim. The camera is amazing and clear.

I gave this as a gift to my son. Great upgrade from his 4-yr old Sony Xperia. The camera is fantastic, really works even at low light. We had fun putting down friend's and relative's phone camera's when we start taking pictures in the dark. The wide screen is totally great watching videos and the sound quality surround is great!

Just got this a few days ago but from what I can tell its an awesome phone. Camera is a lot better, there is better clarity in the screen and more screen size than the S-5 I previously had. The features are simple to learn, I would recommend this item.

I haven't figured out all the bells and whistles quite yet, but so far the S9 is a remarkable device. The battery lasts a very long time, the camera is great, and most of the apps/tools are intuitive and straightforward. The avatar capability is a bit silly, but I'm sure someone was very stoked to have added that. All in all (so far), the S9 is a welcome step up for Samsung phones.
