Large screen, but still able to be used in one hand. Great camera quality. Excellent battery life. Sleek design. The only part that I am on the fence about is the whole Edge concept - it looks and feels great however it looks like it would be a weak point on the phone just waiting to get damaged on a drop.

A great upgrade from my old Samsung Note 4. Not only is the screen bigger, sharper and more rich in color, the battery lasts easily two days of normal usage for me. The new OS' built-in maintenance tools make it easy to clean up unnecessary junk files. In summary, faster and better.

Before this I had a galaxy 7 . I decided to upgrade to the galaxy 9 +. I loved the size of the phone. The camera is amazing! I think this camera is the best in any of the galaxys I have had so far.. It is very easy to use. Battery last alot longer than the 7. Love everything about this phone!

This is the third phone I've had from the Samsung Galaxy Series and each time, I've been more and more impressed with the device. Great features include improved camera, lots of real estate on the screen, easy to use interface, and a sleek and modern design. Great phone!

This is my 3rd Samsung phone and this one does not disappoint. Great camera and battery life. Chose the 9+ as I was looking for a bigger phone. The bonus is the storage issue as this phone accepts a storage card unlike IPhones.

This is my 4rth Samsung and the best of all. I like the larger screen and the battery life is noticeably better. The camera is great and the phone is quite user friendly. Keep it up Samsung.

There are 6 of us in my family. As you can imagine, our tech bills are pretty high. With 3 high school juniors and a college sophomore, we need good high tech devices. I always compromised on my phone because I thought I can live with a standard phone as long as it can make calls and texts. Let my kids have the better technology and we'll save on the bills by me having a lesser quality phone. Well, it was time for me to get the upgrade and Best Buy's deal on the Samsung Galaxy 9 + was BETTER than getting it from the Verizon store (and I'm a former Verizon employee with a discount still). I thought "it's time for dip my toes into the 21st century." So I did. Why did I wait so long to get a fantastic phone? The call quality is amazing, the feel and touch of the screen makes texting easy. I can even talk to text if I don't feel like typing. The camera and video have blown me away with the results I've gotten. I take better pics and video than the camera I had been using so I get a twofer out of one piece of equipment. At 57, that's a plus for me as I'm starting to downsize everything in my life. Why have 3 devices when one can do the job BETTER than the 3 I have? Makes sense to me! Samsung has outdone themselves. To top it off, I dealt with the most knowledgeable, friendly sales consultant who was able to transfer my contacts and all my info from my prior device quickly and efficiently. He gave me a quick tour of the phone and showed me how to use the features I needed to. It got me started on my fantastic journey with the Samsung Galaxy S9+. I've learned other things from seeeing more online demostrations and reading the user's guide. Some features are nice, not necessary at this tme. BUT I at least have them IF I ever do need them. so the phone can grow with me as my needs change. That's called value and he was able to promote the product and Best Buy in such a positive manner that I'm writing the store manager a commendation letter for this young man. Overall, a wonderful retail experience, a wonderful phone...and one very satisfied Best Buy customer!

The larger screen makes for a tablet like experience, but compact enough to be comfortable. Awesome camera function with options for any event or occasion. Fast processing and Long battery life and fast charging.

I could not be happier with my purchase. This phone is great! I'm strictly an Android guy going back to the original Motorola Droid. Moved to Samsung Galaxy S series several smartphones ago, and most recently upgraded from the S7 Edge to the S9+. I've had it exactly four weeks having availed myself of the advanced order discount and trade-in allowances. The folks at Best Buy could not have been nicer or more helpful. Got all my apps, files, photos, etc. transferred to the new phone without a hitch. Will get all of my family's smartphones from Best Buy from now on. I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S9+.

Phone is easy to learn, especially for any prior Galaxy users. Great camera, good battery life. My biggest complaint on this version is that Bixby thing. I hate it. It also has it's own button on the side of the phone which I constantly hit by accident, so stupid. Remove that and it's the best one out there.

Best phone I've had to date. Perfect screen size, greatest cameras out there. Everyone always wants to use my phone for pictures. Runs fast, great design.

I bought this to replace my wife's failing S6. I knew the S9+ was bigger, I guess I didn't realize how much bigger. It wouldn't be bad if you just kept it as is, but the phone is slippery and hard to even hold, so you pretty much have to put protection on it, and by the time I got it into an Otter Defender, it starts to resemble a lilac brick. Even with the in the box instructions and some excellent documentation, I had to contact Verizon support to activate and set up the phone, this is Verizon's failure, not anything to do with the phone itself. I couldn't use the phone-phone transfer because the S6 USB port was broken, so I did a cloud transfer which got back her contacts, messages, and calls, which was nice, but she's not happy that she has to reinstall all the apps. She was even less happy when the first two she tried to install said they're not compatible with the phone - haven't had time to follow up on that yet but it's not hopeful. So far we both kind of really miss the hardware Home button, and we really need to find and change the screen lock timeout because you hardly have time to swipe the screen once you wake the phone before it goes back to sleep. I boots up slowly, but once it's up, it responds fast and the screen is gorgeous. I'm waffling on the question of would I recommend it, it's not bad and I'm sure once it's set up and we get used to it we'll appreciate it more, but it's kind of like, for the price they get for these I can't really say it's worth it to rush out and get one.

Love the wrap around screen. The camera is awesome. And the battery lasts a really long time. I like how fast it is.

I love the edge to edge screen, how fast it is, but mostly I love the amazing photos and get many compliments on them. I selected the new Sunrise Gold and is it beautiful. My old phone (Droid Maxx) was taking too long to charge and this one gets a full charge in less than 2 hours. I'm surprised how long the charge lasts, usually all day, depending on how much I use it. Am loving the Samsung Pay. Downloading my accounts was super quick. Why did I wait so long to get it ?!

Great size screen, lots of advanced features, awesome pictures, expensive, still haven't discovered all feature!

Purchased the phone and the agent transferred the data for me through a cable. It was easy and quick since I had to do nothing. Screen is plenty big, bigger than the iPhone XR which is also a nice phone. Wife has the XR. I like the beveled edge of the S9. It’s fast, but as a flagship phone, it I wouldn’t any less. For a $5 per month more, I find the plus version is worth it. Purchased this on sale. That made it more affordable.

Big screen, extra camera, so far good battery life. Didn't like the additional button for Bixby

I bought my husband this phone and he hasn't put the phone down. It's big just right for his hands. He love Bixby, just a click of a button he can ask a question and it will be answered. He can even translate with Bixby. He never uses the camera, and he is surprised how sharp and how bright the colors look. He can actually take good pictures. Long lasting battery. While he likes to watch YouTube and surf the internet. Great phone overall

This phone is phenomenal. The phone works very well, it is a great size for viewing video or websites, has excellent sound quality for music playback, and has plenty of memory for storage. It has both front and rear-facing cameras and takes excellent photos and video. Simple to use, well-made, looks terrific, perfect size. Can't recommend it highly enough!
