I was in love with my old HTC One when faced with the need to find a new smartphone. As an avid picture taker, I was swayed to the Samsung S9 after reading MANY positive reviews. Man, was everyone right! The camera on this phone is something special!!! Bright, clear lens, and amazingly sharp pictures, even in the dark! I love the compact size, since I carry my phone in my pocket. I'm still learning the Bixby personal assistant function, but after two weeks I can say the S9 is a winner!

This is by far the best phone I have owned. Camera is great.Battery lasts good amount of time. And it is fast.

I really like the phone itself, and the camera. It's very fast and easy to use. The only issue I have is some sort of blue box thing came up and kept highlighting things & beeping at me one night (I think it was the accessibility settings) and it wouldn't let me swipe or do anything - I couldn't figure out exactly what I had done to turn off the feature or what exactly it was. I managed to turn it on emergency mode and that turned it off. Overall I like the phone, but my old Samsung 6 active is still the favorite.

I've had the S9 for 2 years now and I say it's a solid device. The battery still holds a good charge and I haven't had much trouble with it. It's starting to lag a bit even with updates but, I still plan to use this phone until it dies considering the price I paid for it. I'm a simple user so I use this mainly for texts, calls, emails, social media and streaming shows. I don't use it for music, app games, downloading movies, etc... which could be a factor for other users as far as performance goes. I love galaxies and will continue to use them!

Lots of research went into this purchase. Looked at iPhone, other top of the line Android phones, carrier offers, etc. Decided on Galaxy S9 for features. It's fast, expandable (takes a micro SD card), still has a headphone jack. Ample built in memory. Feels super solid. Camera is every bit as good as advertised. Decided on unlocked for flexibility (to potentially switch carriers), and to eliminate carrier bloatware. Could not be happier!

Fabulous phone! A solid camera. Volume is very good. Ease of use is great. This is my second Samsung cell phone. A very good value. Less cellular carrier bloatware by purchasing this unlocked phone. Used this phone in Australia and New Zealand while on vacation. Worked great. Battery life is very good and I am a heavy user of this cell phone.

I love this phone upgrade. I bought this unlocked version to replace an old S5. It's much faster and responsive, with lots of internal storage for apps and docs. I don't prefer the preinstalled Samsung apps. But am still learning how to use all the features. The camera and audio are very good upgrades over previous versions. The finger unlock function works much better now.

I upgraded from a Galaxy Note 5, a device that I've had for a few years and I absolutely love my new Galaxy S9. It feels right in the hand, the fingerprint sensor location is well thought out and it's very snappy. Android Oreo works well. The only issue I have is with Bixby, which almost never understands me or never does what I ask it to do, so I use Google assistant instead.

Eagerly upgraded to a S9, but phone has a few technical problems. needed technical support more than once. Some settings were locked in an off position. This has been solved. Still have problems saving logon IDs in various applications. I'm sure this will eventually be solved as well. Just a little frustrating starting off with a new phone. Phone is faster. Camera feature better. All this said, I plan to stay with Samsung.

Upgraded from a Samsung S6, and everything transferred smoothly. Only had to reenter a couple of my passwords for access to my apps, but all the data I had transferred. This phone takes significantly better pictures than the S6. Wanted an unlocked phone as when my spouse retires we want to reevaluate our phone plans, and might change providers in a few months.

I just changed from iphone, I like many new features this mobile have, like the awesome pictures, the great way Bixby works, she can understand and do very complex tasks, nothing compared with Siri, I also like that you can see to apps at the same time, the screen is nice. I love the sound and the volume it reaches. Face recognition works well and also Samsung pay, Another thing I like are the fact you can personalize features, like stickers for the calendar, the alarm sounds and that it can tell you the time, the calculator also converts measures, the edge panel is very convenient. They also have remote assistance so they can connect to your phone and give remote support, which works great. What I dont like is that some times you need to do extra steps to finish a task, like pressing ok one more time, and also I have experienced something strange we are still trying to figure out, which is I`m receiving randomly happy face messages like this " :) " and also that there was a failure sending USSD , they haven´t being able to fix it neither have I.

I bought this on the Black Friday deal that got me $200 off on the original price. Samsung is actually doing a great job with improving their phones. If you are the person who likes to be up-to-date with the lastest technologies, start with this phone. It's a great phone to have. Just don't drop it. I recommend a good drop proof case with this.

Used the iPhone for many years but just got tired if the old interface and wanted to try something new. This S8 was a solid choice as it offered all the specs the iPhone did at fraction of the cost. Haven't had any issues and everyone loves the camera on it. Storage expansion is definitely a plus as well!!! Would definitely recommend.

I love this phone because it has ample memory, great cameras, is quick to access my apps (my last phone was slooooooow), and was unlocked so I can change carriers if I want and has no unneeded apps you always get with phones you buy from a phone carrier. It was also priced reasonably well compared to other phones of this type.

I've been with Samsung Galaxy devices since the S5 and have to say this is the best one yet. Camera is AMAZING and has many new tweaks and enhancements. Overall the device is fast, compatible across all major carriers, and the best part about having the unlocked version is no carrier bloat, faster boot up time, and will receive updates faster.

Only part i dont like is bixby, track too much and cant fully turn it off, but all phones seem to have their version of this. The cameras are pretty good, not quite as good as i wanted, screen is very sharp and bright, soft edge is fun to get used to using. Yeah for droid over apple!

I had a Galaxy S7 before I purchased this phone and feel amazed by how much faster and smooth this runs comparatively. My old phone was 2 years old but just the sheer amount of new features built on top of the faster phone made it more than worth the tag price. The sound and video quality upgrade are just icing on the cake
