I went to Best Buy to get a new laptop. While my XP is great, there are too many new programs that I need for work that it will not run properly. Everything they had was Windows 8 (not ready for that). They told me they did not have anything that could run Windows 7, which is what I was trying to upgrade to. I explained what I needed the laptop for, mostly spreadsheets, word docs, and pdf files that I could both create new and edit existing. They told me this Samsung Galaxy 3 would do all that plus it is very portable and has a good battery life (that part was true). They also sold me a logitech key board and told me I could purchase Office Pro for about $20 dollars, which was compatible with everything that I am currently using (wrong, cant create documents, and no save as option). I explained to them that I had never used a tablet, or even a smart phone for that matter, and that I needed help setting the tablet up and some instruction on how to use it, specifically how to install apps and which ones. They set up my email for me, then sold me a one year subscription to the Geek Squad and told me they could help me with the rest. I called the Geek Squad for help and their $100 answer was "I don't know I own a Mac." She could not even tell me how to turn on the bluetooth, which is apparently needed for the keyboard to work. After being unable to answer several different questions about the tablet she told me that I should just go on google or youtube to find the answers. When I asked her what she could help me with she put me on hold while she asked her supervisor, then came back and said they primarily fix computers that get viruses. They don't work on tablets. She told me that I could pay another $149 and go to the nearest store (200 miles away) and they would give me a 1 1/2 hour class on how to use my tablet, but they still would not help me set it up. I have to figure out how to do that myself. I have spent hours on google and read the entire samsung manual several times. After hours of frustration, all I can get it to do is play games, take pictures that can't be opened when emailed because their "incompatable format", and read a book. I am not sure what gets the one star rating, the Galaxy Tablet, the Geek Squad, or the Best Buy sales person. But bottom line, it does not do as advertised. It is not an office tool. It is an expensive toy.

Design and feel of this unit is great. A bit slippery. We've been using PC's and android devices so this unit fit like a glove. Only one drawback was the fact that flash player no longer supports Android devices. So if you view web pages that utiliize flash then you may want to go with the Surface. We were unsuccessful at getting older versions of flash to work with this device. Other than that a great tablet!

This was a great buy! The Galaxy Tab worked well and had a large screen. Looking to buy again.

There’s no denying that Samsung has some great goodwill and a fantastic clientele that includes millions of Samsung loyalists, but I have to say that even though this tab manages to fit in most of our needs at a very good price, it lacks the smaller things that it should have been endowed with. Not pleased with the battery life or the display for that matter, but the interface, Android JellyBean OS and the touchscreen seem to balance out that qualm. Alternatively, the speakers are just okay and the camera is rather bad, but then again, I don’t think people buy tabs and expect and out-of-the-world camera either. My early christmas president its really good pictures come out nice movies are nice and clear as well

We bought two for Christmas. One for the wife, one for myself. I have been VERY satisfied with the product with the exception of the charging plug location. All the protective covers made BY Galaxy allow you to stand the product up. That is unless you have it plugged in to charge. The plug is on the bottom edge like an iPad instead of the bottom side, so you can NOT stand it up for use while charging.

I recently became a tablet owner. I find it has a ton of great features and about the only thing I have trouble with is the web pages loading, they are a bit slow. But would still recommend this to anyone

if you plan to use the table as tablet, this is good, But so far many years we have used a computer or laptop and in that aspect without mouse and key board it is tough to use a tablet. This I realized after using this tablet with blue tooth key board But the display quality is excellent. Browsing some what slower even with 25 MBPS speed But when compared to other tablets this is good

I bought this tablet with my $400 xmas bonus. It was on sale st BB for 299$, I drive an 18 wheeler and do a lot of sitting. Its got a lot of the right stuff for truckers and being on the road. Thanks for the tab3 BB its so much fun.

I was looking at the apple the tap 3 caught my eye and I bought it thank you Samsung

I was choosing between this and a kindle but found this one better to my liking since I have an HTC one and was able to sync everything I havee on it to my Tab

I debated between this table and an iPad for a while. I chose this tablet due to it's word processing programs. There are two major flaws I have found with the samsung tablet. It does not have good resolution for video, and the screen will occasionally freeze while using programs causing it to shut down to the home screen.

I like my Tab3 with the android format. It took me a while to learn all the functions but overall a user friendly unit

Purchased for a gift for my son and it reset itself about 7 to 8 times within a few hours. Very upsetting to spend a lot of money on electronics and it doesn't work half the time. I am returning it as it is within time of return policy. The device was even brought back to Best Buy and they factory reset it and it still resets itself. Not buying another Samsung product. Sorry.

Screen doesnt allow for photo enlarging and other features needed for shopping. I bought this to use instead of a laptop and it is as difficult to navigate websites as is on my Samsung Galaxy 3 phone. Now I wish i bought another Ipad or alternative brand. The touch screen is what seems to be having issues.
