I bought this primarily to keep me entertained on an overseas flight. The screen is large, backlit and bright enough to use in bright sunlight. Excellent screen resolution for viewing movies, photos. The power and volume buttons are quite small and close together which may be problematic for someone with large fingers. I found the battery life to be shorter than the 10 hours advertised and the power cord provided is quite short - bring an extension. This is my first tablet and with so many apps and ways to access them it was a bit frustrating for me, but that being said, there isn't a steep learning curve. Overall this proved to be a very good unit for the price.

The tablet is large enough to see everything easily and small and light enough for travel. we have not had any issues with the tablet.

I like Samsung products and was looking for a tablet for personal travel in place of lugging my lap top around so the Samsung Galaxy S4 seemed like a good bet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 isn't bad for a first tablet. This is my first try with an Android operating system and I like the choice of apps and easy navigation. The optional keyboard makes for easy typing and while the Android operating system does not make it a laptop replacement if you need some full websites a choice of web browsers (Internet, Firefox and Chrome) provides a great work around in some cases. I like it so much I'm looking into a Samsung phone to replace my Windows phone.

This tablet has treated me well. A tablet is not a work or productivity tool for me. It is pure entertainment. I watch movies, read and play games. I use this tablet with my Cellular WiFi hotspot when I am out of range of wifi. Together these make a great combination. I am not sure if I would like the Wifi only tablet if I didn't have the hotspot. The battery life is OK. I am able to read, watch and play all I want in a day with one charge. If I use it a lot, it does need to be charged at night. It will not charge when plugged into a PC. It must be on a wall charger. It also plays emulator games well with a Moga controller connected.

This tablet has been amazing so far. It is simple to use. It runs quickly. It's everything I could ask for in a mini computer.

This is a great media tablet. Its i great for socail media, movies and casual gaming, is light and thin. The price is fair for a 10 inc tablet, the build quality is good too.

I upgraded from a Galaxy Tab 2 to the Galaxy Tab 4. The screen resolution is great and it is a lot lighter. I love this tablet!

Had a few family functions, I must say the camera/ video where quick to cue up., the office app was very helpful too! Great helping me with Dr appts / med and balancing bills now I see where the money goes....,. Planning on moving now this tab is really great for my needs. Thanks to salesman that helped me..... i was picking out the wrong tablet for my life style, THANKS BEST BUY!!!!!

In my opinion, this is one of the best tablets on the market today. It's fast, and smooth, and also takes great pictures.

This is my second Samsung Tablet - I made the change to have the larger screen. The tablet performs well and is easy to use.

I am a college student and I use this tablet a lot. I downloaded 4 of my textbooks to it from Amazon for Kindle and it works great and I don't have to be connected to the internet to read them and also saves a hell of a lot of weight in my backpack. The battery lasts all day while at school so I don't have to plug in to charge. This tablet will not replace a laptop because it doesn't have a "real" keyboard for typing papers and such, but for note taking and web surfing; it is great.

This device is a good money saving substitute for an ipad. Ipads cost at least $100 more than the Galaxy Tab, have a smaller screen and basically have the same capabilities. If you're a long time user of the Android OS, then this is perfect for you. If you travel a bunch, use public transportation etc. you can do just about anything on this thing from read a book, play chess, watch a movie, surf the web, type a document and much more. The only con I have is that it's difficult to stand the tablet up, if I want to watch a movie. I purchased the official protective case, which is also made by Samsung.
