Compared it to my Kindle Fire HD and this tablets' display was so bad I took it back an hour later. Would only reccomend this tablet if a persons finances were tight.

It's too slow maybe I'm not using it right like the WiFi and small size but going back to my lap top it wasn't much more than this and worked for me better

My boyfriend bought me this awesome tablet to replace the digitech tablet that died after only one week of ownership. Got that one black Friday weekend. That tablet replaced my Samsung Galaxy 2 7 that died after 2 years. Loved that so much, I knew I had to get the best one this time. This is it! Plenty of on board storage. Plus the SD Memory card feature, something apple has not mastered. A High quality sound and display. Easy to transport anywhere. And super fast high speed connection/WiFi. This one is built to last! Also we got the Survivor case to protect it! Will write a glowing review on that later. Definitely a great investment and an awesome gift!

Unfortunately my kid just had to have one even though I think an iPad is better. Now we have to buy all new apps if we can even find what we need.

Touch sensitivity is not satisfactory, and the power button location is not the best for sure.

I exchanged it because it would not turn on. The screen scratched easily.

I purchased this tablet several months ago and I have been extremely pleased with only very minor issues. I was a die-hard Kindle user and was very apprehensive but I was quickly converted. The features are far better. I love the multi window option so I can have the internet and another app open on one screen. The settings are extremely easy to change. I use it as a phone via WiFi. Samsung Watch On is a TV Guide and universal remote. It is absolutely everything you would want in a tablet. The cons: I have yet to take a decent picture or video, despite my repeated attempts. I still haven't received any of the "gifts" that were supposed to be given upon registering the tablet and i tried everything including live chat. The furthest I got was the link to Samsung's website. I am completely lost as to which Samsung apps do what or which would be beneficial. I believe all of those issues could easily be addressed by either a more thorough manual, a step by step initial setup guide and a more efficient support site.

Very nice Tablet,great resolution,fast wifi. The quad-core processor and and 4.4 Kitkat sys. make for a fast and smooth working system. 16gb with the ability to expand to 64gb is nice. The thing i really like is the sound ,it's clear and plenty loud, which is important to me,and other Tab's i looked at had poor sound.

screen is very vivid. One of the best features i like is the Handwriting recognition feature. I also have Samsung cell phone so syncing calendars, contacts, music etc was seamless and easy. Love the Android based OS. Pretty fast for a tablet. Overall I highly recommended this tablet or any of the Samsung products.

Runs very well and has good battery life. Speed is great and very easy to use.

This is a great tablet. Not had a single issue from it. Samsung puts out a great quality product and this one is not to be beat. It is easy to use, easy to see and a lot of fun to use.

Can't love this Tab anymore. It is a great addition to the Samsung family of products that fill my home. It's size and easy of use make it as functional as a laptop with the sleek size and droid base of a tablet. Truly meets or beats an iPad IMHO!

I had a Tab 3 and loved it. It was super for checking emails, surfing ebay, looking up info on the net and watching on line video of all sorts. The speakers are well placed. I am getting old but could hear the sound well from the Tab 3 and 4. The tab 4 is very similar to the 3 but with the latest Android OS, nicer backside, more features and quad core CPU. The tab 3 duel core did a nice job however. I could get by with either the tab 4 or 3. I love them both. It would be nice to have the super screen of a pro model but just not worth the extra cost. I love this unit as I loved my Tab 3. The only shortcoming is the very short 31 inch charging cord. A great buy for folks that don't want the problems with a computer and love to watch movies, surf the net, listen to music, get the news and weather updates minute by minute, get directions, email, look at pictures and on and on. These will replace cable TV in some form. I watch news, weather and TV from this tab 4 daily. Cut my TV time to very little. Best overall Android device for my taste It is a wonderful light weight device at a good price

Bought this for my mother and she loves it! It is simple and gets the job done and can do a lot more than what she uses it for. Easy to set up. It runs smoothly, so no lag and jittery screens. Very durable. Definitely worth it!

Awkward to use unless you purchase the blue tooth keyboard which is very pricey...Can not be used for sites that require flash player...

I have never received one os update for this tablet, and this in desperate need of one!!!!

It's a great size to travel with and to have laying around the house. Connects well and haven't had any problems. Perfect inexpensive tablet.

When someone describes herself as an amateur how about identifying a path to learning the new product?

This is a good deal for the price. I can be outside and with running a Netgear wifi inside my house and it runs super fast. I'll be listening to music via blutooth earbuds and playing a game with no issues. It's really fast. I went to t-mobile to look what they offered and besides being 130.00 more they wanted to charge me 10.00 a month to use it. Must be because I'd be able to get their connection anywhere. Don't need that. I got it to keep from having to fire up my computer to go online. This will do that since I have Comcast already. Good deal. I ordered the 8" for the kid.

great upgrade from the 7" Galaxy tab. Bigger screen is much easier to navigate. Lightweight and still portable. bought for gift and they loved it!
