This is my first "real" tablet. I had purchased a Coby tablet about a year ago. That was a very limited and klunky experience. Coming from that, this tablet is amazing. Plus it is really inexpensive for what you get. It's fast, the screen looks sharp. I watch Netflix, NBA League Pass, and Hulu on it. No stutter, very nice screen to view shows and games. I don't play many games on it. I like the smaller size because I can put it in my pocket just like I do with my phone. The larger sizes are probably nicer, but they won't fit in my pocket like this one. For me, that was important.

I love my new tablet. It's great for all the work travel. Fast processor, movies look great. Easy to use, and light to carry.

This is my second tablet, I returned the first one because I realized that I was trying to replace my laptop. It didn't work out. I loved it, but I needed a bigger screen. So, after years of refusing to purchase a tablet (why do you need a tablet when you have a phone AND a computer?), I finally caved and went for it. I got it at a discounted, "open box/display" price and I'm happy with it. It's the "in between" that I love. Bigger screen than my phone and lighter than my laptop. I find that I like use it when I don't feel like being on my laptop and when I need to actually see it bigger than on my phone. It's great and I don't have to have a contract. I just wait until I'm in a wi-fi area, or I turn my phone into a hotspot. It gets a 4 out of 5 because it's not the latest and greatest, but I'm cool with that. Also, no issues, but I'm not looking for any. It does what I need. Again, I do have a phone and a laptop.

This is my second tablet. My first was the Nexus 7, which I loved, but which decided to give up the ghost at almost exactly 2 years of use. So I gave myself the Galaxy as a Christmas present, and I absolutely love it! Performance is smooth, graphics are excellent, there's never any lag, It boots up much faster than the Nexus did, and battery life is better as well. Even better, the Galaxy has both front and rear cameras, including flash on the rear - something Nexus did not have. It also has expandable memory (via flash drive slot) - another feature lacking in my previous tablet. All in all, I am very satisfied with the Galaxy, and while I hope it lasts longer than my first tablet - even if it only gives me the same 2 years, it will be well worth the $250 I paid for it at Best Buy!

I was looking between various models/brands, The Samsung was the brighter and faster among those on display at the store. (in the price range of $150-$180 of course). It is fast and very easy to use, Although its a 7 inch display, it is perfect for my purpose. The screen is bright and responds fast to the touch. Memory is good for my usage.

Samsung - Galaxy Tab 4 - 7 - 8GB is great for on the go. Not to big not too small. We purchased this item on sale.We Intended to use it for gaming and didn't want to spend a lot of money. It is perfect for short outings,ie. waiting at the Doctor's office, DMV, Over-nighters, Work... It fits in a purse or small shoulder bag. Light weight even when it's in the case. Sometimes, an iPad is to bulky to carry around with you everywhere. My son (age 23) likes it for gaming, instead of his iPhone. The Galaxy gives him a little bit larger screen than his phone, and it's light weight give him the convenience to take it more places with him. He has no complaint with it's operations. It performs great for the way we use it. We use it more as a supplemental device, for convenience factor.

Got this is a gift. I have owned 2 Samsung phones and a full tablet so I had no issues or worries purchasing this for a gift. Opened and help set it up and it is configured almost the same as the newer Note phone so the is no issue trying to understand a new design. Great tablet, small, light, and easy to use.

My wife and I love this tablet, what we mostly use it for would be, reading with the kindle app, Hulu, Netflix during down time, and email/ surfing the web. The tablet is small enough my wife can drop it in her purse or bag for work. Anytime she wants to check email, read a couple pages in her book she can! For me I have free automotive reading sports apps I can read and my email as well. The battery will last for 6 hours of continued streaming on Netflix Hulu, and several days of reading, email use. The tablet takes no longer than three hours to charge fully. I plug it up when I get home and unplug it when I got to bed and I have it ready for the next day.

This is our second Galaxy Tab purchase. We bought an 8' Tablet last year for our 8 year old and purchased the Nabi for our 4 year old. The Nabi is a nice starter tablet for small kids, but it doesn't take long to realize, it doesn't measure up when you see the speed and options available on the Galaxy Tab. We couldn't be more pleased with the tablets. They are so clear, and fast and easy to operate. The Google Play store allows us to download tons of games and apps that the kids love! We also purchased the additional warranty coverage from Best Buy. SOOO glad we did. A month after we bought the first tablet, it fell from the top bunk of our sons' bunk beds and shattered the screen! We took it in to Best Buy and within about 10 days, they had a replacement in the mail for us. No hassle at all...worked just like a warranty should. We couldn't be happier with our customer service and products purchased through Best Buy. We will definitely continue to be regular customers for our electronic needs.

After looking at several less expensive tablets, the Samsung was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of price to performance. The screen is bright, sharp, and the colors are brilliant. The software is fast and easy to navigate. There are tons of accessories available including rugged cases which were a must in my situation - the selection of cases for the lesser known brands is limited. I do own an iPad Air, iPad Air 2 and an iPad Mini 3, and can say that this tablet compares favorably with anything in the iOS or Android world. It is much less expensive than any of the current Apple tablets and is a great choice for any one looking to surf the web, stream music and movies, etc. I purchased this as a gift for my uncle and it more than meets his needs.

I love the speed clarity the app availability the thin design and portability overall performance.its a good kid friendly device and is also good for a new to the gadget world.Computer illiterate.its also a good communication device with the proper apps installed.

I love the Tab 4. It's easy to use, good sized and works great. It runs faster than I've heard the Tab 3 runs. I've not had any problems. I have an iPad but I love this fits right inside a purse or a back pocket. Loved it so much, I went and bought a white one too.

Needed something small, light, and easy to travel with. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 - 7" fit the bill. 8GB was definitely enough for the limited amount of apps I needed to download, though I did wish I went up a few GB.

I bought this tablet for my daughter to replace her aging first edition kindle fire. There wasn't enough memory space on her kindle, and nowadays, everyone wants to put apps on their electronics in addition to books. I had already previously purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8-inch for myself and I loved it! What's great about these tablets is the expandable memory. The battery lasts a good amount of time too. The screen size is a good size without being overwhelming or heavy, making the tablet easy to carry around. We took our tablets on tablets on a trip recently, and the battery did great!

This little tablet has provided hours of entertainment for the price! Felt we got our money's worth within the first couple of weeks! There are some neat apps that are Samsung exclusive, and the Google Play store is loaded - We have even watched movies on our big-screen tv from this little tablet (from a free movie app) with the help of a smart-stick "casting" device. Easy to use and very portable to take most anywhere - Samsung is more affordable than the competition and our family doesn't miss the fact that it is not an Apple product!

I gave this as a gift to my husband earlier this year and he loves it! The screen size is perfect for browsing Facebook! Easy to use, especially if you are used to Android devices. It's bright and fast, has a good camera, and is also good for reading.

Just what the "Doctor ordered". This machine is very powerful and the movies and streams I watch are just as good, if not better, than watching my large 65 inch TV! Really a pleasant and smart device, Apps load quickly and operated without problems or delays. Battery has a great operating time and a quick recharge time. Thanks Samsung/Best Buy!

Nice 7" tablet. No problems setting it up or using it. The size is good for daily use, and the processor works well with no lag. The screen looks good, and can be seen well in daylight. It's a good choice for $150.00.

I bought this tablet for Xmas and let me say, this is the best tablet I ever had. It's super light and easy to use. The front and back camera are great to take selfies and pictures and it's great for taking videos. My kids use the Google Chrome for web browsing and it's really fast. Downloading apps is fast as well as opening and running them. I have downloaded the CM Security from the Google Play Store for free and I run it once a day and it always says it's safe. VS. The iPad Mini IPad mini is a little bigger than this and a little lighter, but definitely not worth the extra $200 or so. Over all a very good investment for a starter tablet. Worth the money and very easy for my kids to get used to working on a tablet.

This tablet is the best. It is super fast, easy to use, and the picture quality is just awesome. Many of the newer apps out there are fully compatible with this tablet. Makes watching movies on the go so simple.
