My Tab 4 does it all... It's the perfect size for watching movies and playing games.

Great for quick internet access, checking emails, takiing with you wherever you go, can use anywhere in your home, and great for those of us who live in one small room with very limited space. Now that I have my lightweight, 7.5" tablet there's no more lugging out my heavy laptop and cables from my closet and spending 10-15 minutes setting it up on my very small table. The tablet is small, light, portable, very easy to use, and so quick turning it on and getting on the internet-- within a minute or so. For my needs it is a great fit. Samsung galaxy tablets are powered by android. I like moving around on the internet much better using android than windows. It's easy and user-friendly. And the samsung free learning workshops are a great advantage too. I really enjoyed the workshops. I like the easy access of the camera function. It's easy ito attach photos and send them to people. I have been using only the basic functions of the tablet but I'm sure there's many benefits I don't know about. I will be scheduling a free intermediate tablet workshop soon. Drawbacks: Typing text with one finger or the stylus (rubber-tipped pointer) / no external keyboard, and the small screen size. I found it to be very difficult typing with my finger using the on-screen keyboard and selecting items on the screen. I was touching and selecting the wrong item/box, etc. using my finger. I was going to return the tablet until someone at the free samsung training class showed me his "stylus" (rubber-tipped pointer). If you don't have the stylus or rubber-tipped pointer, I highly recommend it. Frankly, I'm surprised the sales reps didn't recommend it to me when I purchased the tablet, It definitely comes in very handy when using the smaller tablets. No more oil smudges on the screen from your fingers and less errors selecting items/boxes, etc. using the rubber-tipped stylus. It is time consuming typing lengthy messages with one finger or the pointer. I have been used to the quickness of typing with two hands on a large external keyboard. I also make more errors typing with a finger or stylus pointer. Editing - making changes, going back and deleting and making corrections can be time consuming and frustrating. Many times it is difficult inserting the pointer at the exact insertion point, it takes many tries before I get it right. Also there is no highlighting to delete text, that I know of and no moving of text. So I find it difficult deleting text, making changes, finding the exact insertion point quickly. The small screen size sometimes has its limitations. The on-screen keyboard many times overlays the portion of the screen I am trying to view. So there is a lot of re-adjusting the position of the online keyboard out of the way of what I am trying to view. Note, there are two size options for the on-screen keyboard. Having the option of using both a tablet and a laptop or desktop computer with larger screens and external keyboards would be the best. I would use a laptop or desktop computer for typing lengthy texts or documents, other programs, and when it would be better to have access to a large screen. But since I live in one small room, having the convenience of the portable, small size, lightweight, quick access to internet, and easy to use tablet outweighs its drawbacks. If you have ready access to a computer then you can have the best of both worlds.

I have been looking for a tablet that wouldn't hit my pocket too hard. I finally found a black one at BestBuy. Being spoiled with nowadays' technology and being a very picky customer, I can state that I am fully satisfied with my tablet. The screen quality is just awesome. The tablet is pretty fast. It perfectly fits in one hand (average size). It's perfect for web browsing, watching movies, and all other things that one would do on a tablet. The only downside is the memory size (8 gigabytes). But I found a solution to that by purchasing a 64-gigabyte micro sd card. What I love about my black Samsung tablet is that it's extre customizable. It has lot's of features (a great example is dual screen). The battery life is super as well. If it's fully charged, I never worry about it again. It can definitely handle a few full movies in a row.

I bought my Samsung Tablet recently for my Vegas trip. The reason I bought this tablet is because I don't have my Sony mp3 player anymore. Which makes me really sad since it was an awesome mp3 player! Anyway, I had been thinking about buying a tablet but it wasn't until now that I was going on this trip that I decided to finally buy it. I LOVE IT! I'm so glad I bought it. I have used it every single day since. The battery lasts a long time, the quality of the pictures are really good, the mp3 players are great, it's easy to use, it's a very nice size and it's a great looking device. I still plan on replacing my beautiful Sony mp3 player but as far as this product goes, I'm really satisfied.

The camera has no zoom and that makes it SUCK big time!

Great tablet bought it for my 4 year old daughter. It's small, easy to use, runs fast, even has kids mode. The only thing I dislike about this tablet is the storage, it runs out quickly so you can't download that many apps unless you have a micro SD card..

I purchased a tablet for my 5 year old to free my phone up when he wants to watch YouTube videos and play games. He made the jump from the Note 4 to the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 with ease, exact same button layout just bigger. Things I like, I can link my Google Account to this tablet and monitor what he is doing. He can not download anything or open anything that isn't on the approved list. The included app "Kids Mode" is what made me get this Galaxy Tab over the iPad Mini. As far as use the tablet runs YouTube and Play Store games beautiful and is the perfect size for a child. My Note 4 was too small and my S2 was too big. This tablet fits between those size perfect and his 5 year old hands can hold the tablet with ease. If you're thinking of going with a cheaper tablet just spend the extra money and get a quality product. The last thing that drove me to get this over other cheaper tablets was the battery life, we are currently getting a full day of use, Waking up and playing games, a mid-day YouTube show before nap, and the nightly windown before bed playing on the tablet. This tablet has earned my approval and has my 5 year old entering the digital age with parental controls and ease of use, get one!

This is a nice little tablet. I like the portability and the size of it because it's actually just the right size to fit in some of my bigger pockets. It's fast and it's really easy to use. Some of the adware and bloatware added by Samsung is annoying, but that's what you get if you want a good product. It'll play and do everything that you want it to really, but be sure to get some expandable storage because 8gb doesn't take too long to fill up.

I was looking for a tablet that I could carry around at work. I only have a feature phone (burner, dumb phone) since monthly charges are much lower. This tablet helps me bridge the gap between a phone to make calls and a full feature smart phone. I can check my emails and make Google hangouts calls on the tablet using wifi at work (limited cell signal inside) as well as all of the other features common on most smart devices. Since this is a little bit older version of android there a few apps that would not install but I can just use the Web version for most of these so no biggy. The tablet fits in my back pocket with ease and my front pocket if I clear out anything else in there (no skinny jeans allowed). The battery life is good and I seldom have lag issues after using clean master app. I get over a full day of use with some web browsing and moderate app use. Ifor I watch videos I get less battery life but could easily stream movies for hours on one charge. If you want a small tablet that meets most people's expectations at a really decent price then this is the one to have. I picked mine up for $129 in January but the last time I was at best buy I see the price went back up to $149. Even so, I still think this is a great price for what I bought.

This little booger is a screaming machine. My previous laptop was in its last days...so the research began. This machine did not even make the list since I needed a numeric keypad. When I got to Best Buy, the machine I wanted was out of stock and only the floor model was available, which was a deal breaker for me. The HP rep happened to be onsite and showed me this machine. For the times I need the numeric keypad, I have a USB plug in. Also opted for the DVD plug in for the rare times I need a disk drive. I had recently uploaded all of my files to OneDrive so I could access anywhere, anytime on any device. So, the smaller solid state hard drive is not an issue...I'm sitting at 178 GB free of the 222 GB available. This laptop starts up very quickly, has a beautiful screen and is very light and portable. Two weeks in and I am very pleased with this purchase.

With the new quad core processor - the tab 4 is quick and the favorable samsung tablet for web browsing and video streaming. Video chat is high quality and there is no lag upon movement. the 7.0 inch is great if you will be using this device for reading because it is lightweight and easy to hold. The keyboard is small but this was a simple fix when combined with the fintie bluetooth keyboard case. Easy to use and would highly recommend.

I bought this tablet to replace my Asus Slider. I bought the slider with the built in keyboard for a purpose....but never used it for that purpose. It became nothing more than a media consumption device. I bought the new Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 for being smaller, lighter, and faster than my slider. It is definitely faster and the battery life is great. It has been great for everything that i use it for...media consumption. It does everything i need and at an affordable price. It does need a case as i kept thinking it would slide out of my hand. I thought it would be faster but my comparison is with my phone which is a Galaxy Note 3 which is super fast in comparison. Still, the tablet is great for what i need and would recommend for anyone looking for a first table.

I bought this tablet because I was asked to design something for the Android OS and I needed some experience using an Android product. This was the perfect solution for my endeavor. A solid, inexpensive tablet that does what I need it to do. I love the size and weight. It is easy to handle and I enjoy reading books on this device compared to my "fruit" iTablet. I found a few games I like to play, yet in my opinion the tablet does have a few drawbacks. I have lived the last decade in the world of Apple. I have draw accustom to the hardware and the software being from the same company. I believe it creates a better experience. This tablet has a split between hardware and the software which comes from two separate companies. SO, you get two email clients, two book readers, two calendar apps, and so on. Space is already limited on this tablet so I bought a SD card. Only to find out that I have to download special software to move things to the SD card. I believe this is a great little inexpensive tablet, yet it will not be replacing anything I already have. If you are looking for something basic and inexpensive this is the tablet for you. Great for reading books and playing games. My personal opinion, I didn't like checking my email, Facebook, or watching video (lower res) on the device. Yet that doesn't mean you won't. Just remember you get what you pay for. My expectations were not set high because of the lower price So I am happy with what I got.

This is my first "real" tablet. I had purchased a Coby tablet about a year ago. That was a very limited and klunky experience. Coming from that, this tablet is amazing. Plus it is really inexpensive for what you get. It's fast, the screen looks sharp. I watch Netflix, NBA League Pass, and Hulu on it. No stutter, very nice screen to view shows and games. I don't play many games on it. I like the smaller size because I can put it in my pocket just like I do with my phone. The larger sizes are probably nicer, but they won't fit in my pocket like this one. For me, that was important.

I've always wanted this mini tablet. I have the phone, watch and tv all connected. Easy to setup, and use. Get the extra memory card. Or you will have major lag when browsing or using apps. With light use a single charge can last me 3 days. Heavy use I get over 4 hours. The screen is not as sensitive as I would like out the box. But I'm sure it can be increased. Over all picks up and connects to wifi signals fast. Great screen resolution. No lag turning on or off. This is a good buy. Recommended for its tiny size and ability. Gave only 4 stars until I fix the screen sensitivity.

I love my new tablet. It's great for all the work travel. Fast processor, movies look great. Easy to use, and light to carry.

Great tablet! Very nicely designed and not to large. I bought two for my six and seven year old sons and they have no problems holding them at all. I chose this tablet over the more "kid friendly" tablet due to the fact that you can still set up restrictions on these. The cameras are great as well as the sound. The only problem I have with them is the performance can be a little choppy due to only having 8gb, so I would recommend the larger gb version. All in all its a great tablet for a great price.

This is my second tablet, I returned the first one because I realized that I was trying to replace my laptop. It didn't work out. I loved it, but I needed a bigger screen. So, after years of refusing to purchase a tablet (why do you need a tablet when you have a phone AND a computer?), I finally caved and went for it. I got it at a discounted, "open box/display" price and I'm happy with it. It's the "in between" that I love. Bigger screen than my phone and lighter than my laptop. I find that I like use it when I don't feel like being on my laptop and when I need to actually see it bigger than on my phone. It's great and I don't have to have a contract. I just wait until I'm in a wi-fi area, or I turn my phone into a hotspot. It gets a 4 out of 5 because it's not the latest and greatest, but I'm cool with that. Also, no issues, but I'm not looking for any. It does what I need. Again, I do have a phone and a laptop.

I'll be brief. Perfect size, with just enough memory and speed to work fast and stay fast, even with multiple apps running. Excellent battery life. I use it all through the day, and still only have to charge it every two days. Yes, it only has 8G internal storage, but given you can move apps to external storage without having to root it, it's not that much of an issue. Highly recommended!

This is a pretty good tablet. It is light weight and easy to take to around. I enjoy surfing the internet, checking email, and watching movies. The picture and sound quality is really good. The only drawback is the storage space and of course I knew that when I purchased it. However, it does give the option to expand the storage.
