I like this tablet a lot. This tablet is much faster than my old tablet, (which was not a Samsung). It is a good size to carry in my purse. The camera takes nice pictures, and it has a front facing camera too.

Works nicely, speed is good, storage is way too small, sd card slot is great but samsung likes samsung cards and they are spensive, all in all happy with it, just a couple negatives. Size and price are right though

I find this Samsung tablet amazing with good size high speed good picture. I can enjoy washing movies and read books, look for articles in google use YouTube and download application . Thanks Samsung

I've enjoyed my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 - 7" since purchasing it a month ago. Both the picture and sound quality are great and I like the fact that I can transport it easily due to its size and weight.

This tablet was very easy to setup. It's easy enough for my 7 year old to maneuver around. The camera is nice. We ran out of memory quick, but that was easily fixed with an inexpensive mini memory card.

I already had a Samsung - Galaxy Tab 4 - 8 - 16GB which is a bit faster and bigger then this one , i wanted to replace my Nexus 7 with a new one for work, cause i broke the screen but had a hard time finding one for a reasonable price so i bought the Samsung - Galaxy Tab 4 - 7 - 8GB which was on sale , it gets the job done no doubt , batterie life could be a bit better , Maps and driving direction software needed some tweaking but it works fine now , i use this all day every day for work , its a good buy for the money and it is very reliable, another thing is, if it gets to hot in the car with the sun beating down in Arizona it will shut down ,never had this problem with the Nexus tablet.

Nice size. Runs smoothly. No issues with connectivity. My only beef is that they changed the menu button to the task manager button. This limits the amount of things you can do in apps. For instance when running the Facebook app you cannot share anything externally because you need the menu button for that. I use that function to send funny things to people via email or other apps. Another example with the Facebook app is that you can't save anything to your tablet from he Facebook app either because of the lack of a menu button. I wish there was a way to switch the buttons functionality via the tablets settings or something.

I wanted a lap top but my son told me to try the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 . I loved it ! Because I am able to make the words larger with a wave of my hand.. I use the internet, face book, and e-mail. I also added some new apps and eBooks . I love that it is so easy to use and to carry around where ever I go. I love the camera (movie and pic's) which is so easy to use. It also comes with blue-tooth and you tube. I love to play solitaire sitting on my sofa with the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (I couldn't do it with a big desktop or lap top). The Samsung staff & best buy staff were great and very helpful at the Best buy Pasadena Ca. 5 stars Samsung you hit out the park with this one!

This tablet is a very good one its camera is good n the processor is fast tablet doesn't lag very fast jus memory is very little but it's a good table!!

I started with a Tegra Note 7 and it stunk! This is so much better designed but the limit of 8G kinda leaves you well, limited. I have a 164G SD card installed and the apps that I can move I do. Can't wait for the 256G SD cards. This device streams well and battery life is good. The s peach interface leaves much to be desired but then again it's not Siri. I don't feel like I'm walking around with an egg. its rugged enough. camera could be better but I don't hold that against them. I do like that I can direct where images and video are stored. As with most android devices, it can only get better.

I hardly purchases gadgets as I will be happy with the items whatever I'm purchasing for some years. Trust me that this item is really really cool stuff for the price they are giving. Though initially I got a feel like the display of the tab is small, now I got used to it. But it doesn't give me any sort of inferiority on this item. Moreover this item is working good and fine till date. Please note that I'm posting this review only after usage of 1 month.

I bought this tablet to have a 7" device for testing (I work in software). So it's on a pile of other devices. Most of my devices are Samsung. I love what they release and I love Android. So in general, I DO love the Tab 4 7". It would have become my every day tablet except for two things: 1) I rely a LOT on vibration cues from my devices. I like to keep sound notifications off. This tablet does NOT vibrate. So my main day to day tablet will stay the 10" Samsung Note (2012 edition). 2) The size is not far off from my giant Galaxy Note 3 phone. So the 10" is probably a better tablet for my needs. However, I plan to get my Mom a Tab 3 or Tab 4 because I feel strongly that they are the best. Easiest to use. Great battery life. Wonderful screen. I just got a Kindle Fire HD as a testing device, and like the Samsung tablets way more. You don't need a Kindle device since there is an Amazon app for Kindle books. If the vibration isn't important to you, then this tablet is PERFECT for 2014 technology. If it's important to you, then consider the 10" Samsung Note.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my wife. It had just come out a few weeks prior and I couldn't believe how affordable it was for being so new. Works great if you are already deep into google play. Returned my kindle fire shortly after purchasing this galaxy tab, far superior tablet for sure

Screen quality is great and the camera is ok for general picture taking. The sound quality is not as good as previous models as there is now only one speaker instead of two and the speaker is located on the back of the devise instead of the bottom. Overall this is one of the best 7" tablets on market. I like the 7" size because it is easily hand held and will fit into a pocket and Samsung seems to be of good quality.

Parents needed a new techy gadget to surf the net while they are on the couch....big screen, goo quality and speed. Good price

Great little tablet at a great price. My son really enjoys this Tablet. He uses it every day and particularly loves watching You Tube videos on it and playing Clash of Clans. It is and ideal, reasonably priced tablet for kids and adults who need a tablet for internet use, using apps and watching videos. He no longer borrows my wife's Iphone 6 plus because he has this great little tablet instead. I recommend it highly. Very easy to use, sharp images, and a very good value.

Faster processing speeds than the previous version and several standard features that are better like "Smart Stay", which tracks your eye movement and keeps the screen on as long as you are reading. It will automatically dim the screen when you are not using it and keeps you from having to constantly "wake up" the device. The battery seems to last longer than the older one as well. Overall, it kept all of the features of the Galaxy Tab 3 version I liked and added new features I enjoy as well.

I got this tab because of the price and the fact that it was better than the tablet I already owned. Samsung Galaxys are well known and have a long line of products, so there are less problems. I also have a Droid phone so I know the software on this was solid. Everything on this work very well.does what it says and there is no lag in work. My Internet can not keep up with this thing. Reading books and movies is superior. The memory is fine on here but I have a 16gb card.

Size was the primary reason for the purchase: very small and light. And it is less expensive than an iPad. It works well with similar features to the pad. It may be my lack of experience but it seems a bit less intuitive in its functioning. Overall, for price (half the cost of an iPad) and features it's an excellent deal and a worthwhile tool.

Great camera, quick response, graphics are great. Very clean and easy to use with a ton of features.
