coming from the old tab 3 this tab blew me away on performance and im amazed how light it is

Very good tablet, almost as light and thin as iPad Air. Good user interface. Bonus from Samsung: get a free book every month. But battery is not that good. Have to take at least 8 hours to get full charge

I shopped for a tablet in order to have a portable device to write with, as my laptop is heavy and larger. I've bought a separate bluetooth keyboard and I'm enjoying it very much. There are lots of options for games, if you're into that, but I found the included Microsoft Office to be extremely helpful and easy to use. Very tablet-friendly. My phone is also a Samsung, so I found the tablet to be similar enough I could find my way around, but slightly different in ways that benefit the larger screen format. Bought the tablet with the store pickup option. It was ready very quickly and within an hour I went from shopping for a tablet to turning it on for the first time. Excellent option if a store is nearby!

I was worried about the difference in aspect ratio from other tablets, but after using the tablet for a bit, that worry was put to rest. This tablet was bought as an upgrade to a really old 1st generation Toshiba tablet my father was using. I myself have the 8.4 Tab S and have been really happy with it, so I figured why not for my father. Needless to say I am a bit jealous now. This tablet has been great.

To start off the battery life is great. Especially on stand by its does pretty well at power management. A 1080p screen would have been nice but the 720p isn't too bad for watching YouTube videos, playing games, surfing the web and the other basic tablet stuff you would do. I like that it has side sync 3.0 built in and you can expand the memory. The viewing angles are OK but not great for watching movies unless they are bright and colorful.

I have always been an Apple user, but my simpleton husband was given an android phone by his company. I bought this tablet in an attempt to learn the android software so I could teach him some tricks on his phone. I have been pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and learn. It is truly mirrors his phone which helps me help him. Screen is clean and crisp. Samsung has packed a lot into this tablet.

We've had our tablet since august. I purchased it for my seven year old daughter. She absolutely loves it uses it everyday. She has learning apps that allow her to read books and play math games. I was worried about getting the larger size tablet but I'm glad we decided to get the larger screen size. When were in the car she can watch movies and that is when the bigger screen makes it better. The graphics and quality is great. Plenty of storage too trust me my seven year old has downloaded more apps than she'll ever use on her tablet and has yet to have to delete any to make room. Not to mention the hundreds of selfies and screens hots of her art work.I am always pleased with Samsung. I personally have three samsung tv's, Samsung washer and dryer, and a Samsung French door refrigerator. As far as my electronics and appliances go samsung is the best in my opinion.

For my weak eyes this is perfect. Words with friends is soooo much easier. The pen I don't use so often but its nice to have. Battery lasts about a week for me. Lightweight and quick. Graphics are fine for what im using it for. A lot of bloatware.

Big screen and easy to use. The photos sometimes seem distorted and has crummy speakers. But nice size and lots of great programs included.

I have had this tablet for a little over a month and I'm happy with the purchase. I went with the Samsung brand because I have a samsung smartphone and this works in sync with the galaxy tab A. This tablet feels well built, the fit and finish is quite nice for this price point and the picture quality is great for my needs. Very thin and easy to use! Has expandable storage which is a plus too!!

THIS SAMSUNG TAB A 9.7 IS EXCELLENT IN SIZE AND THE QUALITY OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS ARE WONDERFUL. IT IS EASY TO USE EVEN WITH FAT LITTLE FINGERS LIKE MINE. YOU CAN ALSO ADD 128 ,64 , AND 32 GB MICRO SD CARDS TO INCREASE THE SPACEFOR PICTURES AND VIDEOS .
