Good, for what it does.

It is cheap enough that if he breaks or loses it I do not care. I would recommend getting the more expensive version with better specs if it is for you. I do that and my tablets lasts literally 6-7 years usually dieing becasue I drop it or something. However if you are looking for a tablet that is cheap and will give you about 2 years before it gets painfully slow, this is your guy.

Other than the fact that the software is newer and the screen is bigger, it's no better than my old one. In fact, it's much slower than my old one and I'm not a fan of the camera being on the side instead of the top. It's still a Samsung, so it's Samsung quality but there is DEFINITELY a different between the "A" and "S" lines, even with an almost 9 year difference.
