    6th Generation & still EXCELLENT...

Hello Hello to all my loyal fellow BestBuy shoppers & fans around the world and locally here in the very great nation USofA <waves> If you are reading my Review, then this only means that you are deciding whether to purchase this very amazing 6th Generation of it's kind that was engineered by the greatest South Korean minds of all Tablets; and their brand name is... "SAMSUNG". On the other hand, and just a FYI: first, if you are a fan & have excellent knowledge of the Android Operating System, then take it from me, do not settle for another different brand name while shopping & chosing for your soon-to-be Adult-own & usage only tablet that will soon cost you near a whopping 1,000 US-Dollars, this Samsung Tab S6 is "King of all tablets", period; second, if you are a fan & have excellent knowledge of Android's rival, then there is only one brand that your money can buy, and as a full-grown Adult like me too, you, obviously, already know what that brand name, currently, is, period. Moreover & leaving the introduction & all Great Memories regarding the "2" biggest Monopoly tablet brands of their own company behind us all, I will now turn to elaborate on the technical details, in my very short and my very own opinion & words, about this particular tablet, "internally & literally". 1) The term "Rich and Poor" is define like this, by me, regarding tablets and smartphones. We humans, the family that we are born in to, will only be a Rich family or a Poor family. By telling you this, I trust that you already know what I mean. Now, as I switch over and apply this very same analogy to this Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 tablet, Samsung's very intellectual engineers have also created, both, a Rich model and a Poor model. This is my definition of "Rich & Poor", now, as compared to us humans: this Poor model is the "crippled" version, having only 4GB RAM and only 128GB Internal Storage, because as a human being, if a person is born in to a Poor family, he/she will never be able to afford all the very wonderfully created and manufactured materials in this world, nor able to go or "do" everything he/she wishes; now, this Rich model (the one I bought) is the "fully created" version, having a whopping 6GB RAM and a whopping 256GB Internal Storage, because as a human being, if a person is born in to a Rich family, his/her parents already live in a mansion, already have a private plane, and later, he/she can afford any material things in this world, and can go vaca anywhere and anytime he/she wishes. 2) My secret to you, while reading my Review this far, and at the same time, stopped by and shop here, I do fully "Recommend" you to buy this Rich model, and after you have bought it, please remember to Love it, Use it with care, and most important of all, Protect it as you would protect your own "2" eyes and your "head". Please please, for Protection, do not forget to buy a screen protector from a 3rd party vendor and a case cover. Regarding the case cover, I also "Recommend" you to just support SAMSUNG, once again, and buy this tablet's very own and engineered Keyboard+Track Pad cover. Now, as you can see as to why earlier I've mentioned that this tablet will cost you near a Grand (after tax & recycle fee) is because the next "2" things are really a necessity, if you really wish to protect your very costly tablet. Now, knowing the total cost and value of this tablet, this is why earlier I've mentioned that this tablet should mainly be used by Adults. Ahem, there are "kids" tablets being sold for under 50 Dollars. That is the value for, ahem, kids. Conclusively closing, I, HMONGsanBER, do recommend this tablet to all you BestBuy shoppers. Most importantly, I do solemnly swear in the sight of GOD (right-hand raised) that I have not been paid by BestBuy to buy & write this Review, nor affiliated with BestBuy in any way, shape or form, and that I have bought this "Rich" tablet with my very own hard-earned money during this COVID-19 pandemic and have written this Review in fairness... from my very own experiences of usage, opinion, heart, and most important of all, Love :) :) :) PS: Don't forget to click on my "3" SS to see my exact Model & Up-to-date Version :) Peace & I'm out...

I have the iPad mini 5 and a tablet galaxy s2. I dreaded buying this because of the larger form factor. Plus the cost of the device. Ouch. Bestbuy gave me a birthday discount so i pulled the trigger. The display is crisper and sharper than the iPad mini 5 or S2. It has 4 speakers. The small bezel gives you more real estate for the screen. Samsung Dex is perfect for my use. I have connected the device to a Dell USB-C port replicator and using an extended monitor. Attach a keyboard and mouse and you are set. I have mine setup with an apple bluetooth keyboard and a wireless Logitech mouse. You cannot use the internal speakers when connected. You need to either connect a Bluetooth headset or use a usb headset connected to the port replicator. Also, While connected with samsung dex, you can use the tablet as another device to view other items or apps. I have since left my MSI GP63 laptop at home and use this as my work laptop. Battery life is great. I am currently at 89 percent and estimated life is 44 hours. The stylus is a lot shorter than the Apple Pencil but has more functionality. I use the volume controls - “Press the button to swipe up or swipe down for volume.” I have taken some videos and pictures with the camera and I’m not a camera buff, so i can’t really tell the difference between apple and samsung. I recommend this tablet.

This tablet is incredible. The screen is gorgeous, the speakers are loud, and the look of this thing is great. At the end of the day for me this is a multimedia device and a web browsing device with a premium feel, and i'm happy with that. Not sure how this holds up for students or people using it for work. DEX mode can be a tad clunky sometimes but i always use it with the keyboard connected and i love it.

This tablet has a lot going for it. It can be used as a computer (Samsung Dex), the cameras are decent, battery life is great, and the performance is solid. I was surprised to learn that the tablet had an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor works even with a screen protector on the device. If you purchase the device, I would recommend a Unicorn Beetle case.

The tablet itself is great. But the keyboard case by Samsung fell off after a month and bestbuy would not refund me. I've never had a case that only last 1 month! It's a magnet sticky pad. And it does not stick! Horrible product and not well thought out

This Samsung Tab S6 is awesome tablet with high-end specification. It is great for Media, Gaming. Performance is awesome, I replaced my laptop to this Tab S6 with keyboard. I won’t carry laptop all the place, just carry this lightweight tablet. Dex mode works really awesome with keyboard. I described review below each part of this Tab S6. Expensive tablet but worth to buy. Watch my Unboxing video https://youtu.be/0R-Dcr7EhM0 Pros: Performance Dex mode works great Slim and lightweight Call and Messaging Communicate with Samsung phone to Tablet Cons: Expensive tablet S-Pen isn’t flush with the back of the tablet Tab Design: Design of tab is very thin and lightweight. Tablet looks shine and aluminum body look rich. Touch feels really good. Tablet right hand side have bixby/power button & volume Up/Down button. And bottom side have Type-C Port. This Samsung Tab S6 doesn’t have 3.5mm headphone jack. This is major weakness of this Tablet so need to buy separate USB type-C headphone adapter for using 3.5mm Headphone jack or using wireless headphone. Back side have S-Pen Magnetic holder but when S-pen attached doesn’t flush on a desk some out on tablet. This feel uncomfortable. Performance: This S6 Tab have snapdragon 855 processes with 8GB RAM, apps runs very smooth. I tried couple of games like PUBG & Asphalt 8 Racing game. It’s very smooth no lagging. Online videos like YouTube , Netflix plays really good with no lagging. Internet browser working very fast when I opened multiple tabs. I am facing my old tablet lock the screen while playing games and unlock the tablet its take time. But this Samsung S6 tab. Its very fast unlock while playing games. Battery Life : Samsung Tab S6 has a 7,040 mAh battery capacity. I test this full 100% charger full day use. Its reduced to 35% end of day. So full day of battery in one 100% charging. This is really good. And this tablet have fast charging option. So tablet charging very fast. Screen Quality: Samsung Tab S6 has a 10.5” size of screen, , 2560 x 1600-pixel Super AMOLED display can get very bright and sharp screen. Gaming & video clarity is really good. On screen fingerprint sensor working nice. S Pen: I really love this S-Pen. very smooth to write on tablet and holding finger is good. S-Pen is wireless charged. S-Pen used to writing notes . and take screenshot and edit, etc. in this S-Pen App. S-Pen Button remotely function to capture photos and control videos and more without touching tablet. Also have Air action feature this is waving the pen around the air to volume up/down and next/previous and more.. Sound Quality : This tablet have 4 AKG-Tuned Speakers at 4 corners with Dolby ATOM sound , I watched MI3 movie on this tablet Superb sound Quality, Clear voice. And no need external Speaker Plenty of sound in this tablet default. Gaming Sound experience is really awesome. I realize the great surrounding effects while playing games. Camera: I didn't realize this tablet have 13MB & 5MB dual camera. Photo clarity is good. And front facing camera is 8MP its support face recognition. video calling works great. I rarely take photos on my tablet, Mostly I used my mobile or DSLR. I am doesn’t worry about Tab S6 camera features. But good improvement on camera. Conclusion: Best High-end tablet I ever used, best performance, best display, great sound quality, good battery capacity. Recommended to buy this tablet for everyone.

GOOD: Screen 4k quality Fast processor 855 256gbRom + add microSD 8Gb ram for smooth gamers Very light and 7000mah battery BAD: stylus pen outside housing can fall and miss sometimes. Can easily get scratches so better buy case or cover. No dongle include inside the box. Only 3 colors and expensive tablet.

    The Ultimate Tablet

When I first heard that Samsung was releasing a new Tab S6, I was very intrigued! I have been using Samsung Tab S4 for a year now and its performance has been very good. I could only imagine what Tab S6 would bring to the table. First of all, Samsung Tab S6 shines and I can say that it is one of the best Android tablets. Samsung has perfected its form factor and slimmed it down even more compared to Tab S4 and instead of glass back it now has a beautiful aluminum cover. It is a real pleasure to hold this tablet in one hand and use the supplied S-Pen which has also been redesigned and sports bluetooth. The first thing that everyone will notice is of course its gorgeous vibrant OLED display. It is bright, crisp and well balanced in color saturation. Media consumption on this tablet has been a joy to use, games like Asphalt, Fortnite are meant to be played on a display like that. This tablet supports HDR and Dolby Atmos and makes movie watching experience absolutely a must whether you are on a plane or a subway, this tablet will not disappoint. Its battery life has been great as well and lasts me all day. There is only one negative and it is missing a headphone jack. I was a bit disappointed that it was gone, especially on a tablet where there is a lot of space. I know bluetooth headphones are available to me, however using wired headphones is simpler and it does not require them to be charged or paired. Performance on this tablet is simply amazing, I have Tab S6 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and with its latest 855 processor from Qualcomm (same one that comes on Note 10) this tablet runs circles around many other tablets that are currently on the market. Web pages load in an instant, videos on YouTube never stutter thanks to great wireless chipset, Bluetooth 5.0 makes sure I never lose connection. This tablet is fast, snappy and graphics are butter smooth! Samsung has also included an S-Pen - a very handy pen that is capable of a lot of things. First of all, it is comfortable to hold, reminds me a bit of a carpenter pencil. It can easily attach to the side of the tablet or can be placed in a special groove on the back of the tablet for charging. It is very precise and drawing sketches is fun, making notes is also easy and your handwritten notes can be converted to text! You can also use gestures and take pictures remotely or browse through your Gallery without touching the screen. Love it. I received this tablet for a discount for my honest review.

    Best Android tablet to date

    Posted .

Thanks to #GalaxyTabS6Insiders I was able to get my hands on this wonderful tablet. Overview: Currently I have an older Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 to compare to. In the words of Samsung, “Imagine a more personal PC experience—without a PC. Meet the Galaxy Tab S6, the ultra-slim 2-in-1 that performs like a laptop with the mobility of a tablet.” I personally do not look at an Android tablet as a PC replacement that runs Windows as it’s simply not a fair comparison. DeX is a smooth Android alternative overlay that provides a PC feel. Specifications: Website provides details. I have the 8GB(RAM)+256GB(Internal) model. Added 512GB SD Card. No headphone jack. Preface: As a CPA a Windows PC/laptop does my heavy computational lifting. Data will be synced to the S6 from my PC. I plan to use the S6 as my digital notebook/data reader, portable video player, and night time/in bed web surfing and social media device. Battery: The longest I’ve used the tablet for thus far is about 5 or so hours straight, and the battery life was down below 70% under mixed use (emails, video, social media). I probably will never be able to truly speak for battery life as the tablet will not be on/used all day. Sound: I am impressed with the sound. The sound from the S6 far exceeds any laptop or tablet I've owned. I have yet to connect a Bluetooth speaker to it, but I expect typical Bluetooth performance just like from my S10+ phone. Bluetooth technology still has a way to go. There can be drops and lags. I still have some wired headphones, and not having a headphone jack means I will never hear the best/uncompressed sound that directly plugging is a headphone offers. S-Pen: I use the pen for note taking at meetings and seminars using the Samsung Notes app. As of this review I am not sure if I can convert S-Pen writing to text (alternative to keyboard input). I can envision artists using the pen. Air actions allows certain performance in the air without physically touching the display. Cool, but I would think faster and more intuitive for me to just use the glass. Camera: Decent quality pictures. Good for video chatting. Responsive. It operates similar to my S10+ which will be by main camera. Display: Impressive. The display is crisp and clear. I noticed no lag/blur in watching YouTube, Netflix, Facebook, or Fios. It's very responsive to touch when opening apps/swiping screen etc. Conclusion: This is an excellent high-end tablet. It's the fastest tablet I've owned. The combination of the great display, solid sound, and ample storage space makes it a joy to use.

Game on With The Tab S6

    Posted .

So many feature upgrades from the Tab S-4. The S6 has a display resolution of 2560 x 1600, octa-core processor, 256 GB memory, audio is AKG with 4 speakers, one in each corner. S-Pen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all standard. The Tab can also accommodate an external memory up to 512 GB. The Tab performs as a 2 in 1 with the optional keyboard case. You can then use it as a tablet or as a laptop. The Dex software will make it look just like a Windows desktop computer screen. With the slim design it’s easy to take along on your travels or school. The display is beautiful, and the colors are true to color and crisp. The on-screen fingerprint scanner is nice, if you do not want to use the scanner you can simply use a passcode instead. An update from the Iris scanner on the S4, the fingerprint scanner is easier to use. The speakers are improved with more bass. You have four speakers on the Tab and the sound clarity is excellent. The S-Pen is a nice improvement with it being magnetic. Whether you are writing, pointing, drawing or doodling the S-Pen is comfortable to hold and use. Drawing with the S-Pen is cool. The added addition to the S-Pen is called air actions, which are commands activated by waving the S Pen around the air, does take time to get use to that, unless you are a music conductor! The battery life is good, I can get about 14 hours of heavy use before recharging. The audio Atmos is amazing and clear. Conquering the world in a game is super on the Tab. Working, surfing the net, shopping, watching a movie or playing on the Tab is marvelous. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S-6 is the most sought after in our house. Of course, you have your normal buttons on the Tab, on/off and volume and there is a USB-C-port. Be aware there is no headphone jack, for some that may be a negative, but with the way tech is going there’s no need for one since everyone goes for the wireless headphones. The Dex system is easy to use, great for multitasking. I can have Netflix running and bring up a web page and more at the same time. Watching a movie on the 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S-6 shows beautifully. You can view You-Tube at 1444 P which is one of the best. The S-6 has an aluminum back, they got rid of the glass back which the S-4 has. The Bezel is very small, just enough to allow you to hold the tablet and see the whole screen. The S-pen fits right in, it’s no longer an afterthought. Notification if the S Pen is not placed back in the right spot to charge. The battery life is very good more than 14+ hours. Fast charge c port gets you back in play quickly. The transparency option is cool for keeping notes while working or playing. Game booster (kills all other apps, so just the game is running) is a nice feature. It does seem as though Samsung has put a big focus on gamers. Fortnight at 30 fps no problem at all, no lagging. Of course, there is a camera on the Tab. You have a multi camera set-up which means a 13 MP F 2.0 main sensor is paired with a 5-megapixel F/2.2 ultra-wide back-up, impressive. The secondary camera is great for wide angle shots. There is an 8 MP camera in the front, which is good for video calls or selfies. I still prefer the smaller smart phones for picture taking, but for occasional photos the Tab is great. Overall a very fast, great looking screen, able to play demanding games without any lag, great expandable storage, a case that holds the S-Pen and a large keyboard with a track pad. Some people will love the Tab S-6 and others will just like it a whole lot.

Pros: The perfect tablet. It's super fast. Great storage. S-pen works phenomenally. S-pen battery lasts for hours on end. User can lean hand on screen while writing with S-pen. Picture quality is one of the best I've ever seen. Amazing colors and contrast. Ideal for photo editing (recommend using Adobe Lightroom and Polarr). Charges extremely fast. High-quality quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos. Very durable. Samsung DeX which makes the tablet a 2-in-1. Official keyboard case (sold separately) comes with built-in trackpad specifically designed for DeX. Cons: External SD card storage may not function properly. S-pen shape takes time getting used to. No headphone jack. Must get adapter with DAC chip for earphones (other adapters without DAC chip do not work). Slightly heavier than most tablets.

This tablet is awesome. I have had many different tablets in the past, from Apple Ipad Pro to Surface, and this by far is my favorite. It is incredible well built, super fast and the screen is amazing. I wanted a tablet that could perform both for personal use and lite work tasks (email, document editing, etc) while I'm on the go. While the iPad is great for media, browsing and great apps, for me it falls short as a working tablet. The surface has the opposite problem, they are great for working on the go, but I find that Windows 10 isn't the best tablet interface. That brings me to the Galaxy Tab S6. For media consumption this is a great choice. The screen is crystal clear and sharp and the sound on this is the best I've heard from a tablet. The 16:10 aspect ratio is perfect for watching movies, whereas the iPad has a 4:3 ration which means black bands top and bottom when watching. And as I mentioned the sound is the best. For work, you really can't beat DeX. It puts the tablet in a desktop like mode so that when you have a keyboard attached, it's like a mini laptop. You can use a bluetooth mouse or the trackpad on Samsung's keyboard case. The case costs extra, but I find it well worth it as it does a great job protecting my tablet investment and adds little bulk. From the DeX mode, I can launch all the Microsoft productivity apps and they look identical to the PC version I use in the office. Another bonus is it includes the S-Pen which stores magnetically on the back and charges there as well. It is at risk of falling off without a case though so you'll want to get either the table cover or the keyboard cover for extra security. Overall this is the best Android tablet there is and is a great value, even with the extra cost of the keyboard cover. This is the closest thing to PC type performance without buying a PC.

Had this tablet for a year now and it is pretty great and lives up to the expectations. This tablet has been pretty great to use for college as it fulfills a lot of things I wanted from a tablet coming from the IPad Pro. Few things I liked include: The screen type which is Super AMOLED. The S pen has a soft tip which makes it feel great when writing notes, theres a software feature that creates sound when you are writing to make it sound realistic which was neat using samsung notes. Small form factor makes it great for me to carry around with ease. Few Cons: only 60 hertz refresh rate (some may care while others wont), the spen is flat that comes with the tablet (again some may not care, I personally love it but it does not represent a traditional pencil), there's not much great writing apps (compared to my IPAD experience) besides samsung notes available. When using this for drawing or writing some apps have a weird zooming/panning issue. Overall, it is a good tablet for the price (also the pen comes with it too)!

This is the best tablet I have ever had and is a huge upgrade from my old tab S2. I love the keyboard no longer being bluetooth and including the Spen makes taking notes on class powerpoints and word documents even easier. The 256GB variant is worth the $80 difference to get extra ram and twice the storage. This tablet is perfect for college students like me that dont want to haul a laptop all the time and can take notes with a pen that is always readily availabe.

Going from the Samsung Tab A 10.1 2019 version to this tablet was IMO a big jump. The internal space from 64 to 256 gb (plus a SD card) the screen seems crisper and uses USB C connection (finally into 2019 specs.) And the reason a lot of people are getting this tablet is S pen. I used a Samsung Note years ago and loved the S pen and with tablet it has improved. I am a digital artist so having a robust pen for drawing is key and the S pen succeeds in that category. In fact once I upgraded to the Note 10+ phone I added the tablet version of the S Pen to work on my phone too. The only gripe I have is how the pen is kept. There is a magnetic spot on the back of the tablet but it doesn't stay on there very well. There is a keyboard accessory which goes over the back of the tablet and secures the pen better but the accessory isn't cheap. I did get a decent tablet case though Amazon which has a opening though the back to keep the pen secure. Even if lost the pen you can get replacements though Amazon and I'm sure Samsung themselves and the price is ok I think seeing 50 bucks (cheaper for the phone version.) I had the Surface tablet computer and the accessories on that device were way overpriced. I lost a pen twice and dropped 200 bucks to replace them. Yuck. The battery life on the tablet is good pretty average for a tablet. I streamed YT TV for 6 hours before I had to think about plugging it in the other day. I haven't used Dex much but it is the closest I've seen a tablet emulate a computer. I have no regrets jumping on this tablet as it does everything I need with spending the higher prices.

I would recommend this to a friend
