I have been uaing tablets since the 2nd generation iPad. Since that time I have been trying to use iPads as my primary productivity device. IPads for me always seemed to fall short in some way. The M1 iPad Pro came close, but at the end of the day, I ran into the same pitfalls as I did since the 2nd generation iPad. There is nothing wrong with an iPad. However, an iPad is not a computer in my opinion and neither is the S8 Galaxy Tablet; but the S8 in my opinion comes in a lot closer than an iPad. How the S8 for me excels over an iPad is: 1. The S8 comes with the s Pen, where with the iPad you have to buy the Apple Pencil separately 2. Expandable storage. The S8 can use a Mico SD card, where with the iPad you are still stuck with the configurations from Apple. However, there are more reliable cloud storage options than there were when the 2nd Generation iPad first came out. 3. The peripherals are much cheaper than what is offered for the iPad. 4. Multi-tasking, you can have more windows open at one time on one desktop than you can have on an iPad. Slide over on an iPad is great, but in my opinion it does not measure up to that of the new Taskbar on the S8's recent software update. 5. The Price, The intro price to the S8 is more reasonable to me than that of the iPad Pro simply because of what you get feature wise and hardware wise.

Works very well. Upgraded from a 2019 tab A series. Use it almost every day for games, web surfing, and managing plans. Could not be happier with it.

This tablet is fast & it has a very vibrant screen. Easy to find apps in line up. You'll love the picture on this tablet

Pretty good tablet. Screen size is very convenient. The graphics are excellent, the speakers are also pretty good. The battery life so far has been impressive. Much better than my s20 phone.

Loving the upgrade from S6 Lite! Quicker with more work options but not too big. I didn't want a huge tablet that serves as computer. The sound & picture for video is awesome!

I love this thing! I was in need of a tablet and my immediate idea was to get an iPad. I'm glad i didn't. The 11" screen on the Tab S8 is the best LCD panel I've ever seen. The overall body of the device feels sturdy and the weight feels comfortable to hold for hours. This has become my default my default media device. I read, watch TV and movies, Write quick ideas down with the included S Pen. I'm a fan!

It is very fast and responsive. The quality of the device and its display is very good. It is better than a phone for reading and more convienent than a laptop.

We upgraded from a Kindle fire to this tablet and its night and day! This tablet is fast, easy to navigate and quick to use right out of the box. Couldnt live it more!

I bought this tablet a few days ago, so it's still very new, but I really like it so far. But the thing that has marred my enjoyment of this upgrade in tablets is that it didn't come with a charger and despite talking to a Best Buy rep about the features of this and other Samsung tablets, it was never mentioned that I would need to purchase a charger because it wasn't included. And there was no indication on the box that the charger was sold separately. I didn't go into Best Buy knowing I wanted a Samsung, so I didn't read any of the articles that would have made me aware of that fact, so I was totally reliant on the signage in Best Buy, the rep in Best Buy (who otherwise was wonderful and very helpful), and the exterior of the box, which was under lock and key so I didn't get to touch until I bought it. It was very disappointing when I got home and opened up the box to see that there was no charger. And the cable did not have a USB so it was not compatible with any of my other chargers or computer. If I bought this online, I would chalk it up to my error. But I had a person answering questions about this and other Samsung tablets. A charger is a vital accessory. I should have been asked if I had a charger that would work with the tablet or needed one as some point and I wasn't. I shouldn't have had to find out when I was opening the box. I shouldn't have had to go back to the electronic store when I was there in the first place! Can you imagine how much more disappointing it would have been if this was a gift?! If this is not something taught to the reps in that area, then that's a HUGE failing of Best Buy.

I actually really like this! I'm not much of tablet person but this one is comfortable and easy to use. Screen looks great and is pretty fast! Sometimes I have up tp 10 tabs open and no slow downs. Is perfect

Love Samsung Galaxy Tab S8-11 128GB-Wi-Fi- with the S -Pen. need to get one more because I have an out date. They are very nice, easy and light, also love the color. Thank you.

The best tablet display I have ever seen. It is well made and relatively fast. The S Pen is also well designed although it would be better to have a place to "tuck it in" instead of magnetically attached,

I love the screen and all of the internal process. Its fast and very responsive. No issues whatsoever. Mainly use it to watch movies, play games and also some productive aspects as well.

This tablet is good enough on use, I downloaded GoPro app and installed 250 GB memory to do Video editing while I was traveling. I uploaded 200 GB video and did video edit, it handled very well. I was happy with my purchase it is better then carry laptop. also pen was very helpful. comparing with other similar tablets this one is good enough for price. I got when there was promotion period so regular price was 699 I got for 499, it was good deal. even for 699 I can say it is good. planning to buy another one.

Everything about this device is amazing! We've always had Apple tablets because that's all that was really available. We fell into the trap but after doing alot of research, the Samsung tablets just stood out more and more, which made my choice easier. Included S Pen, more accessories coming out, oS update for 4 years and now an Amoled screen for the 11inch S9 version! I can see more Apple users coming to the Samsung side! Lastly the ability to add memory, c'mon thats just icing and topping you love on the already delicious preverbial cake! I am now a happily converted Samsung customer!

Great tablet! The image quality is excellent. The processor is fast and efficient. This tablet does everything that I need it to do. The battery life is very good but not amazing.

Excellent product and worth for money. It has SPen and expandable memory which is not available or additional cost in iPad Air

My Samsung is my to go to for devices. I wanted a large tablet with a stylus. This devices has been a great addition.

I have gone through enough tablets, laptops, convertable and not to know a good device when I have one and within a week, this tablet has become my absolute favorite. The pen is a must and is so intuitive with the OS, apps, and screen that it just feels normal. The screen is crisp and responsive, the speed and fluidity is amazing and the sound is perfect. Cannot recomend more.
