Clear Crisp picture. Responsvie. Portable. Easy to use. Long battery life. Too big for public transportation. Just right for all the the kids in the back of the car to play games and watch movies. Wife uses it to stream video while cooking. Worth the price I paid for it.

I first saw this at Sam's Club, but didn't buy it. Went online and read all the reviews and though I still wanted it, I kept procrastinating about spending the money, when I had several other tablets, ranging from 8" - 12", as well as laptops and a desktop, all of which I loved. The reason I wanted this one is because of it's size: I like the bigger real estate for everything I do, such as watching movies, shopping, reading my emails, etc., and this one was not only big, it was very lightweight for it's size. I finally saw it at Best Buy, on sale, and figured I'd take it home, play with it, and bring it back if I wasn't crazy about it. Well, let me tell you that from the moment I took it out of the box and started setting it up, I fell in love with it. Once I actually started using it, I was beyond happy and realized there was no way I could take it back. So, I've had it for a few months now and I AM crazy about it and can't recommend it enough. It's pretty much the only tablet, computer that I use from day-to-day. I keep it in the bedroom and use it all the time and also take it into the living room and kitchen and it lasts forever on a single charge. It has great battery life. The biggest criticism I've read in the reviews about this tablet is about the size, but that's precisely the reason to buy it. If you like or need something larger, then this is the biggest and best out there. The graphics are beautiful and there's no lag. It's quick and very responsive with just a gentle touch to whatever I want to do on the screen. If you're on the fence about buying this tablet, don't be- go ahead and get it and you won't be sorry.

I bought this device for my wife. She isn't real PC literate. She wanted a laptop 2 in 1 or a tablet. Whichever it was going to be had to have a big screen, because she is starting to have vision problems. We looked at laptops, but the cost with a 17" was high and it was heavy. She also isn't a fan of Windows 10, but is comfortable with Android on her phone. I came across this unit on the Best Buy website and thought it would be perfect for her. They didn't have one at the store we were at, but we were so sure, that we paid for it right there and drove to a different store to pick it up. We got it home, plugged it in and it was working. It's fairly quick, and isn't filled with Bloatware like some devices. It was a snap to setup and we have had no problems with it.. My wife uses it every day. The negatives... The stand is not easily removable. (Check YouTube to find out how to remove it if you really want to.) I personally like the stand. It makes it easier to carry around and it makes the unit sit nicely in my lap. The device doesn't operate in Portrait Mode. It remains in Landscape Mode and shows the app in the middle of the screen, filling it from top to bottom. The power supply is big and clunky, but the unit does have a very good battery life. We purchased this for my husband who has never used a smart phone or computer. The large screen makes it easier for him to learn some of this technology and is great for videos and also reading. The handle makes it easy to carry and the flexible stand makes it comfortable at a table, in your lap, or in bed. He is an amateur photographer and his photos are absolutely beautiful on this screen. Happy with our purchase.

This is the best Android experience I have had . I own a galaxy s2 and I have own some iPads. The screen is Brite and beautiful half brightness is more than enough. Don't let the specs fool you this is a octacore. Yes there are higher resolution screens, but they are tiny . You can enjoy this immersive tablet , at the park , campin, dates, and trips. People are blow away when they see this. I have learn how to use android better because of the real estate. Games are epic.

I was looking for a new tablet to replace my old damaged Note 10.1. I stumbled upon the Samsung View and was intrigued by its size and the open box deal at my local store. After some quick, on the spot, research I decided to roll the dice on this "tablet". So far (a few months) I have been very happy. I use this table for general web browsing and streaming my Direct TV and other media. Everything so far is working wonderfully. My kids also enjoy using the tablet for their apps and nickjr.com. a couple things to note: 1) this thing can not fold flat! It is either laying at about a 30 degree incline or standing upright. 2) this tablet does not have the ability to rotate (meaning if you play a game like Best Fiends it will not use the full screen. It will use the full height and black box the large sections on either side of the screen). 3) the charger is completely different from other galaxy devices, but battery life is solid so that hasn't been an issue for me. In all, I am happy with the product. It has limitations like all things, but if you are looking for a HUGE tablet that works great for Internet and streaming media...look no further!

I reviewed this shortly after I purchased but apparently BB wants me to do it again, so who am I to argue? This is THE best small tv/large tablet on the market and being on sale gave me the best of both worlds. I had wanted a small TV to take to my patio but not have to leave there when not in use.. had looked at small smart TV's so I could pull in my DirecTv as well as Netflix. This fills the bill for not only that, but as a huge tablet to play on, surf the web and play my games. If the broadcast is HD, the picture is crystal and the sound is more than loud enough even for me (I am hard of hearing) The attached stand puts the tablet at the perfect angle for watching tv but also makes it the perfect tablet stand.. the keyboard is bigger than my laptop and very easy to type on. Has a designated numbers keypad that doesn't interfere with the size and spacing of the letters. I simply love this tablet for the purpose I got it for. If you're looking for a small tablet to take along in your purse, this is not the one to get, but if you want an extra TV that doubles as a tablet, this is perfect.

I love my Samsung preview. It's like looking at my note 8 on a television except I can touch the screen and open apps and do everything I can do on my note 8 . I really like the fact I don't have to put on my reading glasses to use it because it's so big but lightweight. Some apps don't work well as far as the layout on the screen size other than that love it . 5 stars . Highly recommended

I purchased this to have a bigger screen to play games on and it is light weight to carry from room to room seems to be fast to get around I have access to emails. Like my phone only bigger to sit in in bed with me to see easily. I love everything about it. Still learning it's capabilities.

Christmas present for my son. He loves watching videos and this is great! I am still in shock of the size of the screen. It is a little heavy but that is to be expected. Great picture and speed. I also like the back which tilts back and forth to help you stand up/lay down however you want to use it.

Pros: graphics, screen size, easy to set up and use, sound. Cons: it can be a bit awkward to hold on your lap since it has only 2 position settings & is a bit bulky, it's not compatible with my samsung smart tv so I can't screen share with it (major disappointment), choices for storage cases are very limited at this time. Personally, this device is great for me to use in the kitchen to pull up recipes or watch tv while cooking. Its also very handy if I need to pull up youtube how-to videos when I'm working on a sewing or other d-i-y project. Because of the screen size, I like watching them on the View better than my smaller tablet. Some reviews have said that the sound/speakers aren't that great, but the sound quality seems fine to me. If you're not concerned about screen mirroring, I would recommend this product.

This was bought to watch livestreaming video and works great. It was ready to go as soon as we took it out of the box. The handle is also the stand, so easy to set up and watch. This works like a Samsung tablet but it large enough to use as a personal TV. We have used it to watch livestreaming tv and for hulu and netflix. The video looks good and the sound it great. The sound is much better than my laptop and gets loud enough that you can hear it across the room without attaching external speakers. The battery seems to last a long time. Not sure how long because we haven't timed it, but you can watch for a few hours without charging.

Perfect for the ottoman in front of the tv. The virtual keyboard is large enough to type regularly once you get used to it. I even journal on it. The stand keeps things at a good level.

I was looking for a device to stream videos and play games from a small porch. Tried a laptop and returned it since I didn't like having a keyboard (even though it folded) and the screen was just not there. Purchased the Galaxy View and it was great. Very nice picture and nice sound. I would say the sound is on the upper end of what you can expect from a "tablet". Still use my Bose Soundlink BT Speaker much of the time. Hard to beat the Bose! The portability is great but I don't move it much. Lastly, since it is Android, I am much more familiar with it since I also have a Galaxy 7 Edge.

i watch all of my movies and shows with this tablet. My previous tablet was dropped and had a cracked screen and I ended up ordering 2 more (1 for my son and 1 for me). Love the screen, love the speed. :)

I love it. It sets on my kitchen table and instant online for news, email checking, catching up with my latest Netflix or Amazon Prime video. I travel a lot so it fits in a nice little travel case. I have unlimited data so I can hotspot Netflix on the road. I love the full size keyboard. I can do everything I would normally do on an iPad. Speaking of which I have 2 iPads and a smaller Samsung tablet. The Galaxy View is my favorite. Battery life is great. Resolution could be better but is not bad by any means. Maybe subsequent models will offer higher end resolution. Processing power is good. I recommend the Samsung Galaxy View.

I purchased the Galaxy View for streaming movies and shows! I upgraded from a Samsung Tab 2 7 inch which served its purpose for years, but I wanted something bigger to watch my shows on. I love the portability of this tablet and the built-in stand. Like a true Samsung product, the picture quality is excellent! It is like a giant smart phone with all the gadgets to Skype, video chat, take pictures or videotape . I love that I can actually see everything in my emails without my glasses! Lol!

Samsung keeps on pushing the envelope in technology. The View is bar none the best tablet and entertainment hub at your fingertips! The 18.1 inch screen is complimented by a 1080p 60fps punch in your face brilliance. It easily syncs with your phone and transfers files efortlessly. The price is worth what you get out of the view. I highly recommend this to everyone! You can't be disappointed!
