I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS. IT IS PEFERCT FOR STREAMING VIDEO. BUT AT 18.4 INCHES, IT IS NO LITEWEIGHT. IT HAS A NICE BUILT IN HANDLE WHICH ALSO ADDS STRUCTURAL SUPPORT. IF YOU WANT OR NEED A HUGE SCREEN WITHOUT ALL THE POWER OF A LAPTOP, THIS IS FOR YOU. I USE IT TO TEACH SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS FOR ABOUT 12 PEOPLE.

I really love the screen, and all the apps that came with it. I love the way it stands by itself, making viewing much easier. So far, it lasts a good long while on a charge.

I came across this item by way of a Samsung email showing latest products....I then went and started looking for price and found this articular one available as an open box item and had $150 in gift certificates that had just came up after some other items we had purchase so it made it relatively affordable. That said, I find I like it very much. My 13yo daughter calls it my lap-let...a tablet larger then a laptop. It is easy and intuitive, as I have found most Samsung products are. One really nice thing is that the virtual keyboard is almost the size of a normal desktop keyboard, making typing anything alot easier then other devices. The battery life isn't as good as rated, but it's not as portable as say an 7-8" device,. Would recommend if you wanted a larger tablet.

Samsung has hit a home run with this tablet. Great resolution picture, speakers are very good. Amazing thing is,how truly portable the tablet is. Can be combined with wireless keyboard to use like a laptop. Also shares,data seamlessly with my S6 edge plus. Great value.

Picked up unit to function as small TV for kitchen with having to run wires or need cable box. Unit works well, the screen is good size and great picture. Being a tablet gives addition functionality: SD card used fro storing Movies, Youtube, nextflx,Vudu, etc. Can use for e-mail and Calendar, Video conf, etc. Lasts long on battery. Not all apps compatible and some only work in Portrait mode, Overall a good fit for a larger tablet.

I bought this for my mother as she has trouble seeing her small phone screen and other tablet screens. This screen is huge! It's awesome for viewing movies and doing random stuff on Facebook and games are fun to play on the large screen as well. The only issue I have is where the charging cable.is places but that's not a big deal and the clip like thing on the back that stands it up. Which isn't that big of a deal either. Other wise it's amazing! We love it.

With cellphones so big now it seems tablets are pointless...this one is awesome! Great screen, speed & size!

Helps me view my work with much ease. Tablet too small computer too big. Galaxy View is the perfect mix. I use it for doing drawings for work and it saves me so much time. I would recommend this to any business or college student. The upgradable SD storage card makes it great.

This tablet replaced our laptop and couldn’t be better. Screen is large and processor works faster than a laptop. Great but for price.

I bought this for my 21 year old daughter. It is good if you are not traveling with it. The attached handle is difficult to hold and does not feel very secure. I tried to purchased a case and a screen protector and found there is not one made for this tablet. The handle in the back makes it impossible for the tablet to fit in a computer case no matter what size case. There is no way to transport the tablet securely. On the positive, if you want clear large screen tablet to game or watch movies and stay home, this is what you want.

I love the View. 18.4" screen. With my Wi-Fi I can watch movies in my back yard and kitchen. With my smart phone hot spot I can watch every where else. Fully charged there are no wires to drag around. Great picture quality and sound. Comes with its own built in stand. Perfect size screen for personal viewing. I can also check my email and surf the web.

I have an eye disease called keratoconus which makes it hard for me to see small print or details on just about any smaller devices unless it's right in front of my face. With the Samsung Galaxy View 18.4 I am able to have a portable device which allows me to see everything I'm looking for with clarity and ease. The main reason I purchased the Samsung Galaxy View 18.4 was for one reason. I'ma musician and have been playing guitar for over 30 years. Music notation that I was printing out or that I have had for a long time became hard to read on the fly and made performing, practicing, and playing music very difficult, not to mention extremely frustrating. The Samsung Galaxy View 18.4 fits perfectly on my music stand and I am able to see all of the musical notation, tablature, chords, and lyrics with ease now. I use ultimate-guitar.com and the ultimate-guitar android app as well as to learn and practice various songs every day. I am now able to do so now with clarity and www.guitarlessons365.com , www.youtube.com/user/GuitarLessons365 , www.youtube.com/user/GuitarLessons365/featured , www.youtube.com/user/GuitarLessons365Song , and www.youtube.com/user/CarlBrownCovers to learn and practice new and old material. Size of screen, sharp and clear picture, ease of use make this an excellent device.

This unit fit my need for a portable device that I can move from kitchen to living room to outdoor patio without any wires to deal with. Also using this with my cable companies mobile application (FIOS MOBILE) I can stream all channels without an extra cable box rental. Big plus and dollar savings.

Great for watching movies, videos, going online etc. I am a senior and small tablets are hard for me to see.........this tablet is the perfect size for me............beautiful clear colors.....fast response time

Our son recommended the purchase and we use it frequently to surf the Web, stream videos, movies and music. It's easy to move from place to place is always ready for use. Love it and happy with the purchase.

I traded in my Google Chromebook Pixel and bought the Galaxy View, a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I LOVE it as a desktop computer. Google docs, slides, YouTube, and everything else Google work in all their glory on this fantastic "18 display. I know it was conceived to be a content consumption device, but I love it as a desktop computer. Completely wireless, ultra portable, great for presentations, great battery. I love not having to hunch over that 13" laptop. I can do more with this than I could do with my Chromebook Pixel, which I loved. It is true some of the apps are not optimized for the real estate. However, if you use Google Chrome and websites instead of apps, it is fantastic. I also replaced TouchWiz with Google Now Launcher. If you love Google's platform, you can't go wrong with this device.

Large screen for blind people like me. Very portable. User friendly.
