Much loved and needed upgrade! This watch stands out and goes above the others. The bezel, similarly to the frontier watch, is my eye catching feature. Without the hieght and characteristics the bezel brings to the watch, doesnt seem like a watch to me. It is a hard housing and screen. I work with my hands, in dirt, water, the sun and the winter. After 3 months, still going strong. The frontier had lost the mic shortly after the first mud hole. Oh and this one(yes much newer) runs much smoother and faster than others. Texting is an option for me with this watch Set backs: battery, maybe its how fast and such but every day has to charge an hour. Frontier was 2/ 1.5 often yes, but not something i must remember to charge at the time i dont want it on. Secondly: the band, too much at the watch, it doesnt flex or isnt able to move fully with the arm/wrist

Love the look of it. Updates keep improving functionality. I purchased a stainless band and a stainless bezel to compliment the look(keeps original bezel free from scratches too) . Very customizable with plenty of watch faces. Simple to use yet great for those who love to customize everything. Battery life isn't the greatest, but I'm sure that's across the board for small devices.

I have had no issues with this watch. It connected with my phone no problem. Yes the battery longevity is not that great but it all depends on how much extras you have on your preferred watch face. I charge mine power off every night and the next day after about 14 + hours there is about 50-60 percent charge left which is really not that bad. I really like this watch as it has many features you can use on it. I really like this fact that while at work it's easier to get by using my watch for a means of communication as opposed to having my phone out and texting or doing whatever I really need to do without being conspicuous. I really recommend this watch.

Like any samsung product this Galaxy watch 4 classic is also loaded with lots of usefull features , u can take calls , see notificatin , navigation alerts , you can use samsung pay from watch itself , physical rotating dial is amazing . just two things that I dont like about this watch The band is poor quality , and does not go with looks of such a nice watch , Battery really sucks ,

This started out as a really great watch. It does a lot and has a lot of apps/info on it. It didnt take long for the Bluetooth to start disconnecting for no reason at all. I also couldnt make it to dinner tine without the watch dying on me. Eventually, I returned it and bought something else with longer battery life.

Not as sensitive as I hoped. It lags in picking up all the steps esp. if I get up during 'sleep' time. It also dropped before midnight sleep one time for no reason, so I wonder how accurate it picks up on sleep cycles in general. I do like the sync with the Samsung phone though and I wanted the safety of it recording any accidental falls/slips in winter or on a trail. I was afraid it would be too clunky looking on my small wrist but it feels and looks just fine (got a slimmer wrist band for it that tucks the long tail under the band). Still exploring the settings but I do like it a lot. wish battery lasted a couple of days.

This watch is working out great. Bought to replace my Active 2 which after 2 years became possessed and started randomly activating menu options. The bevel action is smooth and clean and buttons are intuitive. I like the upgrade to Wear OS instead of Samsung’s proprietary OS. More app options. I’ve found the screen more responsive with wrist flips. Occasionally I’ve found the battery drain to be excessive and quick without warning. Likely having more to do with some app that took over though.

I've had the galaxy watch 4 classic (black) for almost 2 months now. Battery life has been excellent, I typically just have to charge while I'm in the shower each day and that's usually enough. The switch to Google's Wear OS has been pretty good; especially now having Google Assistant! The design is super classy and can work with both casual and more formal wear, especially with different bands. I take off a star because I lost watch faces I paid for on my old Galaxy Watch because they were in Gear OS, not Wear OS... but as someone who's used the watch studio to create faces in both I see no reason they couldn't simply move them over. Also, when getting a new phone you have to completely wipe the watch to connect it to the new phone! I used the watch backup and restore feature, but it only restored the Samsung specific apps and faces (had to reinstall Assistant, Gboard, facer) and various settings don't carry over (such as selecting a location on the weather widget). That was a ridiculously unnecessary experience... If I get a new phone I should be able to simply pair the watch with it without resetting it.

Ive been using this warch everyday for over 2 years still looks and works like new, easy to change watch bands, best feature is u can snooze ur alarm clock by press the side button on the watch

I’m an Apple lover, but this watch really impressed me. It’s really good and full of tricks.

Watch is nice, but battery life not so good: baraly makes it a day

Love it! Love the new functions. The only thing I don't love is that this costs about $100 more than the other Watch 4 model and it does not have a nice leather band. A watch that costs basically $400 with tax should not have a plastic band in my opinion. This is a premium watch and should look the part. Now I will have to spend more money to replace the band. Other than that it works great.

So, I went in to Best Buy to purchase another model watch and when the sales manager showed me his watch and that I could buy an open box for the same price as another brand..I was like, ok! The Samsung watch is superior in apps. No other brand allows you to download so many apps! I did my research but knew this watch was out of my price range. The features I liked on previous models are still there. Flip the wrist, it lights up. Trust me, lower ends don't do this. What's new is the EKG feature and for me the O2 sensor. This can be exported for review but I wouldn't really rely on it for a Dr. has real equipment. It has GPS(A LOT of exercise watches don't and rely on your phone GPS.) It has so many features! I think what sold me is the look. This watch dial has the look of an expensive watch. I plan on purchasing a stainless steel band from an outside vendor for when I want that "dressy" look. Overall, the battery life is 2 -1/2 days wearing it overnight so far. However, that's withought a major workout. Charging time on this cute little magnet pad takes like an hour. I can see why the manager was eager to stear me to this watch. I am very happy with my purchase.

I really enjoy my Galaxy watch! I love all of the health features it has. I like how I can check my messages and answer phone calls when I'm too busy to pull out my phone. I aslo get notifications from my social media account.

This is 4th Samsung smartwatch. Compared to its predecessors i say the battery on this discharges so quick. It lasts less than a day. Otherwise all the apps that i have on my old smartwatch still works on this one. It would have been great if this one can run my Dexcom app for my blood sugar but unfortunately only iwatch has the app. Im just hoping that this one would last longer than 2 years. With my previous samsung smartwatch the back cover comes off. All three of them did in less than 2 yrs. Best Buy is great in replacing my previous smartwatches though

Still functional till this day. A little let down by the lack of the blood pressure feature but best functionality with a samsung phone

This is my first watch of any kind in over 20 years. I'm really digging this. It fits good, looks sharp too. Love the biofeedback features, music control...Battery lasts about a day. I charge it before bed, wear it during sleep, through my next day. It has about 20-30% left when I remove it every evening.
