I had opted to buy open-box: excellect to save some cash, as I did with my other smart watch. The watch seems like a great product and does as advertised but this open box product came with smears, smudges, layer of some kind of residue, and couple noticeable scratches. Nothing too big and that big of a deal. However when I buy open-box: excellent. I expect something that basically new. Which this particular watch did not meet best buys description of excellent open box. This was more around the lines of their good open box description. I feel like the pricing for this particular listing should of been dropped. Though also another thing that leads me to believe this listing of open box was incorrect. The battery life isn't what is marketed. So this could of been a display model as that is the only thing that could describe them pushing it as "like new" but then have the signs of worn battery like this but to me a display model isnt like new.

With as many smart watches of other brands out there on the market who are not only cheaper but have battery lives that outlast this by miles It doesn't make any sense. Maybe it's because of that whole thing a few years ago where all their batteries started catching on fire but it seems like Samsung is awfully gun shy about battery performance these days. Not worth the money for sure. We ought to be getting a lot more battery life with as much money as these devices cost. Other than that body composition ECG and sleep monitoring are all pretty solid. The raise to wake function is almost non-existent as well. Every time I raise my arm it won't light up unless I tap it or jerk my arm up in an over exaggerated completely unnecessary way. Not very sensitive. Takeaways turn up sensitivity on race to Wake / turn up battery life.

My previous watch (that was purchase through a phone carrier) did not work without my phone. This one does.
