Was time for an upgrade from Watch6. Overall wasn't much of an upgrade. It does have a better battery life but it is larger than the 43mm Watch6. I wish it was 43mm, this doesn't fit my wrist as well and I wouldn't want to go to 40mm. The screen is an upgrade but we lost the rotating ring. That's criminal.

I love this watch! The design is different yet elegant. The features are great. The screen looks brighter. Well done, Samsung!

Bought for my “Android son” who silently envied the iPhone/iOS universe. He would never have purchased this on his own, but he deserved a smart watch to use with his Samsung phone. So far he loves it - does everything he’s wanted, plus many he didn’t know he did! Feedback so far - Feature packed, very good battery life, comfortable to wear, watch face selection is “so cool”. I can’t wait to hear more from him after continued use.

I am very shocked by my Galaxy watch 8 44mm. This is my very first smart watch. I been using a Fitbit versa 2 for 5 years but i got fed up with it due to poor battery life. When i had picked up my pre ordered Galaxy watch 8, I was amazed how easy it was to set up on my new Galaxy S25 Ultra. I had watched a lot of YouTube videos where some users are reporting that the "Battery" will only last for about 25 hours without "Always on display" turned on. They were extremely upset on the fact that Samsung advertised a 40 hour battery life but the customers arent getting a 40 hour battery life. On their youtube videos that you will need to charge the watch every morning as it only holds enough charge for 1 day. However, i had been getting at least 2-3 days of battery life on a 90% charge. I only charge the watch to 90% (using the "protect battery" setting so that it will prolong the life of the battery. Well in my case it litterly takes 1 and a half days to get the battery from 90% to 30%. So I have not used that much features yet i havent used the sleep apena tracking. I had been testing the "Always on display" setting since Yesterday (August 1, 2025). When i started the test i had charged the battery to 90%. I stsrted the test at 11:00am and i did turned off the watch at 11pm to save battery for today (August 2, 2025). Well as of writing this reveiw, my battery is at 34% and still holding up. Yes I did turned off the watch last night and that is why its holding a charge. However i dont use the watch at night so if you use your watch 24/7 you may not end up with 1-2 day battery life. But for my needs and my case i am getting a lot of extra juice per charge. I may not even charge the watch every morning unless i need it. The only complaint i have is the Original Wist band that Samsung makes. I can not charge the watch with my Samsung Duo Wireless charger due to the layout. I had to order a 3rd party wistband that is made out of Nylon Elastic band and i can twist the band so that i can charge it with my Samsung Duo Wireless charger. The original Samsung band was also way too small on me even though it was medium/Large. But other than the band im happy

Major upgrade from watch 4 battery only loses about 20 to 25 percent in one day compared to almost gone in less than one day. Screen is more clear and also like how it sticks up off the frame instead of being in the frame

I bought this watch from my wife.She loves it as she works out and needs know how many steps and her heart rate. It also has so many other features. Great buy and very stylish, she wears it out to dinner.

I purchased the Galaxy Watch8 44mm Blue Tooth Watch. As I get older (I'm 67) and I want to do a little bit of monitoring my basic health such as pulse rate when I am doing things as well as Oxygen level as well as some sleep issues. I'm relatively active, biking and playing non-contact sports. I'm not interested in being connected to the world of things, so basic readings and time are what I use most of the time. I have set my settings to be minimal and get up to 4 days of battery life. I prefer the bigger screen. The information fits better than the 40mm screen.

Is a good watch it works good it looks good and the battery life 24 hours

Attractive, functional, and lighter than my older watches. Downside is that the battery life isn't stellar and the charging rate is quite slow. Upsides are lots of fitness metric tracking and nice new interface.

Really like the watch, very comfortable and easy to set up and use. My previous watch was an Amazfit and had a 2 week battery life. This one doesn't even last 2 days but I was aware of that when I made the decision to purchase it.

This model is more comfortable on my wrist than older Galaxy models. The display also seems brighter, and battery life is better.

Great watch. Upgraded from the 7 and I can't be more happier. The new squarish design I didn't like at first but it has definitely grew on me. Such a nice upgrade. If you have a Samsung device, go with this watch .

Samsung products has always served me well and this new watch hasn't disappointed. The only issue happened last night with recharging the watch. It wouldn't connect but I got it going.

I love this watch!! I have had the apple watch before and i will say this watch is so much more comfortable to wear! Battery life is great!

Alittle big but like all the features..cute white band & ready to use

I like the new style of the watch and new UI. Its more slimmer and the detachable bands is more easy to take off and replace them

I upgraded to this watch and i love it, functionality is fast and charges super fast with its charger.

Bought for my hubby. It works for everything he needed. Long battery life and looks great.
