I trully love this phone but what i dont love is the fact that the Z flip has a screen disfuction where it becomes unresponsive to touch and thats just a half a screen issue the other half wrks fine my screen is in mint condition and ive had the phone 7 months BUY THE WARRANTY I didn't and now i gotta buy a new one .....ouch

I LOST MY FIRST REVIEW ON THIS PHONE. So I'm trying to put down all the info before I loose it again. All of the I-phone gals love this phone because Apple does not have one yet. The phone has less features than my Note 8 or Note 9. It has NO stylus. It has NO way of adding more memory. NO ear phone Jack. NO Iris recognition but a hard to use finger print reader. It only works after many trys, glad it has a four digit code when the reader does not detect a programed finger print. NO video calling, you have to use a new app called DUO which is actually FREE to down load from the Google store and the Apple store to make a video calls with the DUO phone app. The software program for my Yahoo mail is different on this flip phone. The Z flip phone is very slippery when wet and it loves finger prints on screen. I bought a phone protector from ARAREE and also a holster with a belt clip from BELTRON . I use them both. I only use the phone holder with the belt clip. I use the ARAREE protector that has a place to put a lanyard on and it also has a movable plastic cover over the swival hinge. See the pictures for details. The keyboard splits up when rotating the phone to make the screen larger. the system of charging my watch 3 with this phone does not charge because of the phone protector blocks the charging signal from the flip phone. Best to use a lanyard around your wrist. I use a Blutooth keyboard and mouse instead of the split keyboard when you rotate the phone. This phone will be used as my spare phone while my primary phone will be a Note 9. It is a nice paper weight that I can keep in my shirt pocket. It is a nice conversation piece when you flip it open in front of any I_phone users. My primary phone will still be a Note 9. Thank you Samsung for making a I-phone that flips in the middle.

This is a great phone right out of the box. I was skeptical about the reviews regarding its quality. But after several weeks of practical use, this phone has proven it’s worth and is truly a work horse. I am very SATISFIED with this purchase. I am also pleased with Samsung for having the phone ship pre-installed with a screen protector. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in having the phone of the future.

Within 4 months of purchase there was an air bubble forming in the fold. Within a couple days that air bubble spread across the fold. Today, 7 months from when the product was delivered, the top half of my screen is not working. I can see what is displayed but touch screen stopped working. Within days a black line started spreading through the crease, kind of looks like ink, and it is slowly spreading to the bottom portion of the phone.

Disappointed for the price. The screen is lifted where it folds & also just went completely blank

I bought this in large part for the protection it has for the screen if dropped. Samsung apparently could not stand to sell something that doesn't easily crack when dropped (< 3 foot) -- Other than that - I love the phone . but this is a deal breaker (no pun intended) for me

Less than 7 months and while oppening the phone i hear a soft crack and here we go... the whole screen turns slowly black) . Not a good choice for phone

It was not an easy decision for someone who has a Mac, iPad, and Apple watch to give up on my iPhone 11 Pro, and Apple watch as a result. But this phone offers something Apple doesn't. The display feels like a normal glass display it's solid, it doesn't bounce like I thought it will. It has fewer reflections and looks like it's naked. The optical clarity is unreal on this phone. It's giant when you need it and tiny when you don't. The mechanism is solid and it gives me confidence that the phone will last. You won't scratch it unless you have very long nails because the phone is always closed in your pocket. If you want to buy think twice! You won't be able to go back to the typical form factor never ever again. Once you use this, everything else is gonna be everything else to you. Even the iPhone.

Love this device. It fits in all of my notoriously small women's front pockets when folded in half. Notifications are easily accessible from outside screen as well as time, date, battery, and music controls. Can take photos without opening phone, but I find it more useful to switch this feature to the flashlight. The device is fast, pictures are crisp, it's everything I could need or want in a phone with the addition of the fun folding gimmick and beautiful mystic bronze color. Great battery life too, I can get away with charging every other day. Only complaint is with the screen protector. Samsung voids your warranty if you remove the screen protector the phone comes with or if you apply one yourself. You can only use Samsung approved places/technicians to replace the screen protector as well, which is a little annoying. The screen protector constantly bubbles on the side of the screen right by the fold, and is easily scratched/marked. On the plus side, according to the warranty this screen protector service is only about $13, but I have yet to try it (Samsung approved place is not open at convenient times for 9-5 workers) so can't say if that is true yet or not.

It has a wow factor that the regular smartphones don't have anymore as they all kinda look the same. I've had it for 2 weeks now and love it! The build quality is solid. I can tell the engineers spent a lot of time on this phone. It's super fast with the latest 865+ processor. The screen is fantastic. I thought the crease would bother me but it's only noticeable when there's light reflecting directly on it and it's very minor. The mono speaker is loud and maybe slightly below the S series I had but not bad at all. Battery life is good, it lasts all day even though it's smaller than others. The matte finish is beautiful and doesn't get fingerprint smudges. I didn't even put a case on it since it comes with that samsung premium screen replacement for a lower fee. One major improvement is the fingerprint sensor. It recognizes my finger pretty much every time.

As an early cell phone user, I watched with annoyance as phones kept getting BIGGER and BIGGER and were no longer able to easily be stowed in my pocket or even a small clutch bag. Enter the new flip phone by Samsung. Pros It fits in my pocket It's cool and "new" I loved my pink Razr from like 2005 so the nostalgia is real It has 5G Cons Price. You are paying for the novelty and the foldable screen. The camera is just okay. At this price point, you can do way better. Very few accessories are available and finding a car mount that works is a challenge because the phone itself has a magnetic close AND (see below) you may need the phone open. The positioning of the buttons is weird. They're all crammed on the right together. It's easy to hit the wrong one. You have to leave it fully open for many functions - such as GPS directional apps. No water protection. I avoid getting anywhere near water. Conclusion I probably won't buy another flip phone until they become less expensive. It's cool but it is in no way practical. It's a phone for early adopters, gadget nerds and people with small pockets.

While I haven't had this device long I have already fallen in love. The screen crease is minimal when viewing content especially on bright colors. The screen while delicate doesn't seem to need baying, I've used my finger to press the screen open (not recommeneded) but I did test it. The camera is on par with s10 and n10 series phones so I may not have the best on the market currently but I sure can hold its own. Lastly the over all body design. It is beautiful! This is the first samsung phone in a few years that has really caught my eye. The s7 edge was probably the last time I found the design of the galaxy series to really stand out and be premium looking. To finish this off id like to point out that this device is very expensive but for what it brings i find it well worth the price as it out performs many of the other foldables in the flagship market minus the galaxy fold.

Just picked up today, i am a LONG time samsung person, i have samsung tvs, players, phones, watches etc. So i got this today and i have to say i like it. Now, i see some arguments on this phone such as no extra memory slots, no headphone jacks, etc. First, 256gb is quite a bit of room, so that should be more then enough space for normal operation or video watching As far as headphone jack, who uses wires anymore? Most use blutooth. Now, the rest. The transfur of my data from my S20 to this phone using smart switch was very fast, even with this phone at 18%. It took a few minutes after transfuring it to mirror my last phone, so just give it a few minutes if you do it. Its pretty fast, even for my only yr old 20. The screen is bright and vibrant, love that. I streamed videos off youtube, hbomax and disney+, idk if it was 1080p or true 4k but man it looked amazing. As far as audio goes, it sounds a little hollow, not that much base compared to s20, i tried messing with the basic audio settings but couldnt boost it, maybe theres a app or work around for bass/tremble Phones calls are nice and clear. The wall paper & lock screen images are very crystal clear, pictures come out pretty nice. The only reason i give it 4 stars out of 5 is because of the confusion of a screen protector. Samsung says dont replace it yet bestbuy & other sites sell screen protectors for hte phone. Heck, some of them sell HD screen protectors.

In a renewed cell phone different from the traditional ones, I loved the shape and the accessibility to use it. Its camera is incredible. Its closure is something new that looks futuristic. The size of the cell phone is perfect for pockets. disadvantage It is a very fragile cell phone, it breaks easily, wear and tear on the screen when opening and closing the cell phone.

Price is high, but it is a great phone. And, it easily fits in my pocket. So far, great battery life. Other phones are way too large.

Love the flip phone.It is a phone that is easy to us . The one problem i have frustration with all of the updates .

Phone was just alright. I bought as a quick replacement of a Note 20 Ultra. LOVED the flip ability but screen started peeling dumped it.

I love loove this phone. I had it for a year and one day I was very very angry and I through this phone with full force across the wall (it was folded) and I picked it up and through it again..... it cracked on the outside only still working perfectly fine including the camera lenses..... what an awesome phone .... however, I do not like the quality of the camera esp on the selfie mode

Works very well Crease cracked after a couple years but did not affect its operation overall nice folding phone.
