Its a great tracker and works great with my Essential phone but... I had 2 of them within 1.5 years. First one the window on the heart rate sensor came off. Best buy replaced under warranty (only 6 months in) and the second one started not charging all the time (1 year in). Luckily I had extended service on it and BB gave me a credit. If Samsung gets these issues fixed I would buy again but it'll probably be a while.

I have this Fit2 synced to my Galaxy S8 and once I finally messed with the settings so the battery wasn't being used as much I can get about 3 1/2 work days out of it. I power it off at night but it can work as a secondary alarm from your phone.

This watching much like the fit bit but soo much better with many more options and a touch screen View who is callin or texting you and have quick response For those that like technology and a watch with a smaller band and face this is the one for you

Got this for my wife. She likes the form factor. This is actually a replacement that unit as the original stopped charging. Hence the 4 stars.

Works well with my iPhone. Doesn’t keep track of stairs climbed very well. I like the ease of navigation both on the watch and on the phone.

Nice watch. Like the way it tracks my activity. Personalization options , such as watch faces, nice added touch. Wish battery life would be better.

I had decided on recommendations of my peers to get a Samsung Gear Fit 2. So I did. I bought my 1st one and when the associate took it out to sync it to my ph, it would not charge. So we exchanged it for another one. Not even 1.5 weeks later it decided to disconnect from my ph and app and decided to not to charge either. Mind you, it was fully charged, and I barely used it, but for the steps. The back light wasn't on all the time, so no reason for it to not keep a charge or not charge at all. So, again, I take it back to exchange it for, yet another one. The exchange process was fine and they were understanding and did the exchange. I thought 3rd time is the charm, right. Haha, NO. I had barely had this one a week before it would have to be recharged every single day. I was told not only by peers, reviews online and the associate that it will hold a charge between 3-5 days, depending on use. Well it did not. So, I took it back and just asked for a refund. They were understanding and seemed to be frustrated for me as well. I didn't have my receipt each time, which is odd for me, as I keep all of them for taxes. Yet, they were okay and looked up my purchase each time. I would not recommend this product at all. If you do decide to get one. Make sure you read every review you can find, especially on forums. Great fitness tracker and nice attempt at a smart watch. Very comfortable to wear and easy to operate. Battery could be better but happy with purchase.

After researching and trying on a lot of fitness trackers, I tried this one on. It has gps and the ability to store music in such a sleek form factor. Great price as well for the features. Better smartwatch capabilities than many other fitness trackers.

I wear this to a very physical job every night and it works well and I haven't had any problems. I am able to change the look on the face as I want and it had worked well with 2 phones. I have had it over a year and I would recommend.

The GearFit2 has a lot of great features, sleep tracking, exercise. One knock I would have to say that it does not track stairs if you are decending.

Large face makes reading easy and it is nice to record the exertion.

Really like all the features of this watch. I would like to change the band but am not able to. The band occasionally comes unhooked.

I like the gear fit 2. It has nice options and customize able. However, the battery stinks. Coming from a fit bit Alta I was really disappointed.

the watch is light and gives enough detail.. some might get nervous with the technology but this watch is simple yet motivating. if your sitting for too long it shows you the non active time and gives you compliments when you get the steps up.

I like everything about my gear fit 2. I like the calorie counter, and the step counter. I especially like how it tracks my sleep. I am very happy with my gear fit 2. The way I can sync it with my Samsung phone. It charges fast which is very nice.

The gear fit 2 makes a great fitness tracker for the casual user. Lack of integration with third part personal fitness software will be a drawback for the more advanced users. For techies, the device offers integration with samsung phones that is a notch above FitBit, Garmin, and the like. It is not as good as the Gear S2. On the plus side, the battery is better than the S2 connected and the device is much lighter to wear. All in all a good compromise.
