    Watch band is not good

I would have rated this smart watch higher however the band is not designed well and will come loose when you slightly rub up against something. Over time when this continues the watch will fall off arm and potentially break the screen like mine did. Maybe get a different band for yours. Other than the band issue the watch is great. Get the new pro version so you can keep your watch on your wrist and go in water if you choose.

Received the item as a gift, and was a much needed upgrade from my Gearfit 1. Battery life is much better, roughly 3 days before I have to recharge, but dependent on if you are constantly connecting to your bluetooth. Display is better, and the metrics that you decide to follow seem to be more accurate, and they are displayed over a weeks time to understand your habits better. I love the watch, it's stylish, more durable than the first gen, the band stays on better due to design changes. Overall, very pleased with the updated version.

    Loving my Fit2

I've been more active since I started wearing the fit2. I'm glad that I can walk without the phone and not loose steps. I've also found other activities that I can log. Getting messages on the watch is also a plus, as well as controlling a sound source such as amazon music or audible. Answering and rejecting calls is also easier than doing it from the phone.

I purchased a fit bit hr last year;however, the band gave me a rash. Then the Samsung gearfit 2 caught my attention. So far I'm happy with my purchase. Things I like about the gearfit 2: - fitness app is simple to use. It reminds me when I'm not active for 50 minutes. That reminds me to walk around a bit when I'm at work. The steps also compare my info with all other users. - I don't have good reception at work. I leave my phone at a spot that has good service and my notifications come through my watch. I can also reply simple and short text as I'm working. -have the option to enable notification for certain apps. -the sleep monitor is helps me get on a consistent sleep schedule -decent selection for watch apps and face at Samsung store. Things that I don't like: -battery roughly last about 2 to 3 days even though I'm not a heavy user. -I woke up one time and my watch informed me that I did 500 stair steps. Either I was sleep walking or the watch was flipping out. It only happened one time. An update fixed the issue. Overall I'm have with the value of my Samsung gearfit 2. I highly recommend getting the insurance. I flew off my bicycle like superman a week ago and cracked my screen. Best buy replaced my broken watch for another one.

    Smart watch or fitness tracker?

I like that I can read email and text messages on the Gear 2 and also receive notifications from other apps (so I can check sports scores discreetly). The fitness tracker will give you step counts, heart rate, and calories burned. You can also control your phone's music player with the watch. I would give it 5 stars if it were waterproof.

This is my first fitness tracker and I'm pretty pleased with it so far. Does everything is supposed to and the changeable home screens are nice. I have recently taken up mountain biking and wanted something besides my phone to keep track of my distance and such. This does the job well, but there are a few things that could be better. The GPS works great so far, but it would be nice if there was an option to pause the clock when you stop to rest like a certain app I use. The auto-tracking could use some work too. I drive to some out of the way places for work, and my Fit2 kept deciding one day that I was riding my bike when in reality I was driving down dirt roads at a slow speed. I have since disabled the auto tracking feature. All in all I'm liking the Gear Fit2 so far. The GPS is accurate at tracking and measuring distance traveled. Hopefully Samsung can iron out the few complaints I have and add more to their Gear app selection.

    Amazing Samsung Watch

This is the first time I have purchased wearable technology. My husband has the iWatch and I see him use it a lot. He uses it at work. Having a Samsung phone I decided to get Samsung Fit2 as it tracks running, heart rate, very very similar to the iWatch. It also notifies me of text messages and calls. I am very happy with my purchase!

    Average Health Band

The Gear fit 2 is average overall. First the bad – Battery life is pretty short, under average use I have to charge the battery every 2nd day. If you really use the fit 2 heavy in one day (GPS, Heart Monitor, Playing Music, etc…), you’ll have to charge it once a day. The second problem I have is with the Heart Monitor, many times while on the treadmill, the fit 2 will record 0 heart beats per minute (maybe I’m dead during my workouts)! For the Good – The display is good & readable and there seems to be several options for recording exercise and other miscellaneous items like watch faces, and such. The fit 2 is also pretty cool with having the ability to play music straight from it, I’m able to synch my Bluetooth headphones with it and have music going while I exercise. There are a few more good & not so good things about the gear fit 2, however since I received the unit free with my Note 7, I can’t complain too much!

Did not think I was going to like it, purchased it at the insistence of my wife. I really enjoy using it, very good for keeping me moving. Very accurate in the steps it records. Very comfortable on the wrist.

Pro: easy to read, notification vibration works well, steps appear pretty accurate, comfortable to wear Cons: the band does not have a secure hook and it does fall off (I have a black leather band I wear around it so it will not completely come off, wish the battery life was longer, sleep record does not always seem accurate

It counts my steps, takes my pulse, tells time and says it will play music but I haven't loaded any to it yet. It has to be recharged every 2 days and sometimes you have to flick your wrist hard to get it to show the time and the band will come unbuckled if you're working with your hands bumping it... but over all it's pretty nice

Had to exchange the first week because it wouldn't hold a charge. New one works fine. Wish it had the same type of app on the Samsung Note5 with graphs similar to what The fit bit does on the iPhone. But I really like the text and email on the watch and the display is better than the Fitbit. For an exercise watch, it's great.
