The only reason I didn't give 5 stars unable to talk on watch

Does all great things. I just wish I could answer phone from it

I decided to ditch my Apple Watch when I stopped using my Apple iPhone 6S and get a Samsung Galaxy S7. Decided to try this watch out. Love it!!! I wish and hope that they would come out with more apps though. Other than that I highly recommend getting this watch.

I purchased the rose gold watch when it first came out. Overall the actaul watch itself is great. It works well and tracks my steps as well as my sleep habits. Within 1 week the suede from the under side of the band had discolored the white upper side of the band. Replacement bands were $50 or $60 on the Samsung website but I didn't want to buy the same band becauseit would have the same problem. I loved the watch and assumed that after a little while Samsung would come out with a better option for a replacement band. Unfortunately, Samsung no longer sells a matching replacement band for the rose gold watch. This watch is still being sold for over $300 and you will never be able to purchase a replacement band with a matching rose gold clasp. I would recommend buying the platnum version because the clasp on the replacement bamds will match

This smartwatch wasnt as good as I thought it would be. Many of the features I have been unable to use effectively. The voice to text option hasn't worked for me at all. While thats not that big of a deal, its one of the features that I looked forward to the most. Also, it would be nice to be able to do see pictures clearer on the device. Other than that, the device does everything that I need it to do. I also like the fact that I can change out my wristbands and customize the face of the watch depending on what I feel like seeing.

This is honestly a great watch. It can do so many things and has a nice 4gb of on board storage for music and applications. The abundance of watch faces makes it truly customizable to suit your lifestyle or outfit.

Easy to use, very very user friendly. Definitely makes things easier on the go. Battery life is better than I would have expected. Looks classy and like an actual watch as well. Very comfortable and reliable

I love the watch and it's interface, especially the bezel. The band that comes with it however is very feminine. It tapers to very thin width, unlike the standard gear s2 classic.

I am so happy with my Samsung Gear 2. I would recommend to anyone. All cool features, my most favorite thing I have purchased.

Very nice smartwatch easy to setup and use a lot of time i don't even need to bring out the phone and can read all the notification just on the watch

I love my Gear Classic! I wanted a way to track my steps and stay informed...I love how connected I can be with only looking at my wrist!

My husband travels alot and since driving and texting is restricted this watch works well with his phone.

My review is simple. Great watch just don't like tizen as the platform. They should have used android wear.

I love that it has the look of a regular wristwatch but is a smartwatch.

I can use it for work or even going out. Its very easy to use

I can't even tell you how well the watch works, or how nice the screen is beside checking out the demo model in the store. This watch is useless if your phone is rooted and/or you're running a custom ROM (custom operating system). For most people, that won't mean anything and the watch will be fine. But this thing MUST use software to link up wth your phone, otherwise, you can't even use it to show the freaking time! You can't load the "Samsung Gear" app on your rooted phone, so, the watch never gets past the set up screen that demands Samsung Gear. Can't even show you the time.

My friend loves it. Calls, text, all r hands-free.

I purchased my Gear S2 a little over a year ago. There were some things that needed tweaking (such as the step count being off and the available apps are still limited), but over time firmware updates seems to fix what could be fixed. When the Samsung Pay app was added, that was a great addition. BUT that was before the watch needed to go in for repair. I was having problems with the communication between the watch and my phone and the Samsung Pay app on the phone was spotty. What happened next is what I warn all potential purchasers about. The watch came back from Samsung warranty repair with a new motherboard. The communications problems were no better and the Pay app wouldn't even load. In fact, no updates from Samsung would load. The Samsung update server communication continually failed. Samsung said it needed to go back again. So I sent it and it came back with exactly the same problems. But digging deeper and talking to Samsung Pay support (a different group), I learned that they knew all along that whenever a watch went in for repair and the techs reloaded the initial firmware, the watch could not be updated AT ALL! So the things that were flakey at the beginning (step counts) are back they way they were a year ago. And the Samsung Pay app reports that there is now something wrong with my SIM card (as if I'm not located in the US?!?!?) or that my Gear simply doesn't support Samsung Pay. Excuse the legalese, but their warranty repair service "fails of its essential purpose." You can't fix one problem without essentially dumbing down the whole watch. The only solution (they told me) is that you'd need a new watch. And so far (almost a month later), that hasn't been a solution offerred. The watch has been a good watch, but if you have any hope of keeping it any length of time and you think there is even a slim chance it may need repair (what tech device doesn't have that chance?), you should consider something else or buy the Geek Squad extended warranty so that you can get Best Buy to do what they do best which would be to get you a new replacement. So sad given how much I've liked Samsung until now.
