It is ok as a smartwatch. The main disadvantage is that it mainly uses samsung apps, not google apps. So depending the other things you interact with it may not be ideal. But it is good in that the turning face is a good way to interact, and if you want something that is "watch" sized this is great for that.

I was looking for a smart watch that was not too big and somewhat stylish that could replace my cheap Fitbit Charge and provide an interface to my cell phone when it is in my bag. This has been a great piece of technology. The choice of watch faces is great, the heart rate monitor does not stick out and the watch is comfortable to wear. I wish it had more apps! I like that it buzzes when it gets out of range of my phone - helps me to remember to grab it. I also like turning off my phone alarm on the watch avoiding the need to roll over and find my phone. I have several bands for it that are easy to swap out so I can use the sports band when running and a metal band when going to the office.

I really like this watch. Has a classic watch look and feel. High quality feel and function. Naturally intuitive when using it. I own very few watches and I really have to like a watch before I buy one. I spent time looking and reading reviews. I have been reluctant to buy a smart watch but I feel this watch is worth it.

Easy to use, nice size, looks like a regular watch

I got the gear 2 classic almost 2 months ago, and I just love it. The battery lasts for 3 days, the features are awesome, and it looks like a watch. In my opinion it is the best smart watch out there!

I had bought my son an S2, and I bought a Moto 360 2nd Gen. I returned the Moto 360 a few hours later. I then the Gear S2 Classic. It works better with my Motorola Phone than the Moto. The Samsung app is much easier to use, and had no problems syncing.

This product was given to my son as a gift. It has been a very good purchase, according to my son, he is very satisfied with this watch. He likes the simplicity of using the watch. He likes to keep up with sports scores and he gets updates on this watch. He is always showing me the features and what he likes about it.

Overall, I'm pleased with the looks and performance of this device. It operates well as described. My only complaint might be battery life. It's not bad in day to day use. You probably could get 3 days. But if you intend on using the functions of the watch for sleep tracking, expect to charge every day.

I love all the features of the watch. It is not too big. The battery life is OK. Lasts me about 2 days. I could probably let it go longer but I don't like to let the battery get less than 25%.

My new smart watch is easy to use. I can have my phone on silent and my watch will let me know if I have an incoming call, a text, etc. with a simple vibration. I have it connected to my earpiece in case I want to answer my call. I can stay in touch with what's going with no more disturbances in class or at work.

I purchased the Samsung Gear S2 from Best Buy. They had lots in stock to choose from and the sales staff was very helpful. I chose the stainless with black leather band to replace my analog watch. It was very easy to get this watch connected to my phone! I have had it about a month now and absolutely love it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiance. He is a police officer and can't always take his phone out of his pocket while on a scene but still needs to check his messages or emails so this watch was a great solution. It has a very classic look to it and the screen is a perfect size even for his big hands.

I had a fit band, witch I did like, but due to being a professional it wasn't as appropriate. With the listed watch, I have the Fit band information with the classy and elegant look of a watch. One negative, it it doesn't give you your sleep information as the Fit band. They need to work on this for the future.

This watch is great. It's a classic watch design that is home at work or on the go. Lots of watch faces to choose from. You can also download additional faces and apps. App choice not that great.

This is my first smart watch, and I wasn't sure if I would really use it or not. I chose the Gear 2 because, even though I would have liked the phone functionality of the Gear Sport, I didn't like the design as much and especially didn't like the plastic band. I wanted something stylish enough for a woman to wear, yet functional and something that wouldn't break the bank. The watch lasts for a couple of days or so on a charge and I am surprised at how much I use it for - from steps, to reviewing emails, to responding to text messages. I love it!

Bought this item for my wife because it was the best looking smart watch. Thinking it was an android wear smart watch, found out it was a Samsung wear smart watch. Would work with her iPhone.

Plug and play simplicity.. Turn it on and it pairs with your phone with no hassles. You can choose what to be notified by and how to be notified. It is great to leave your phone in your pocket while in a meeting and still be able to see the messages and even reply to them without touching your phone. The voice notes is a great idea. You talk into your watch and it automatically transfers the note to your phone. The one drawback is this model does NOT have a speaker!!!! So no audible alarms, just the vibration. That also means this model can not be used as the standalone phone that the other model can do. Other than that, I have no complaints and so far love the watch.

Watch is great in functionality. Get 1.5 days on battery and recharges fast. still learning about functionality. I only use the apps I need to preserve battery. Its great seeing a call notification on watch. Great being able to control phone through wayvh..music,text,voice memo voice vommands. Still Trying to figure out if i can speak through watch . If i could skype through this, i would give this 10 stars. Get the warranty!! I bought an open box and the crystal was cracked (didn't notice until i got home) the crystal will be the first thing to go. If it's damaged even a bit. Eventually it will start flaking off. Returned it to Best Buy and it replaced it with brand new watch.

This watch allows me to extend the capabilities of my Samsung Note 5. Notifications, calls, maps, just about anything. The ability to customize your watch both with apps, watch faces, and watch bands just makes it an even better experience.

I broke my Samsung Gear Live and i researched over and over on which smart watch to purchase to replace it. This by far is the nicest and highest quality of graphics in my honest opinion. I like the rotating bezel that allows you to scroll through the menu as well as using the touch/swipe feature. I like the leather band for a more formal appearance but I switched it out for something that could withstand water and sweat since I use it for a multitude of reasons. The only downsides are the battery life is too short and the Tizen OS doesn't include a Google Maps app to work with your smart phone and the pre-loaded map app is useless.
