I bought this watch for my wife for a Valentines Day gift and she loves it. I really was blown away at how quickly and easily she picked up on how to operate the watch. She didn't even really need to read the owner's manual to operate which is a testimony to how intuitive the watch is. Get yourself one.

This is a great smartwatch. I know it is only really supported on Android, but the design and software are so good I actually went with it over an apple watch (I am an iPhone user). I would give it a full 5 stars, but Samsung hasn't delivered the iOS integration that it said it was bringing. I can connect it to my phone and it does a really good job of sending notifications and phone calls to it. I can even do my activity tracking, but I know this thing can do a whole lot more as soon as the iOS app is available. That being said, I would still recommend this watch to even Apple users at this point, the design and interface are just that good.

This is an outstanding watch and the smaller size from the s3 is perfect for women, as the s3 was too large fro my wife and this one was just right. the software is the same on both, but as this is an older model it does not have the speaker to allow for answering calls right from the watch. Nor do you get audible alerts like you do with the s3. This is still a great watch however and my wife loves her. If you can go with the larger sized s3 I recommend that over this watch or if they come out with a 40mm s3 again that would be better. but if you can live without the speaker then I highly recommend this watch.

The Samsung Gear S2 is an outstanding device of creativity and elegant design. Sooo many applications, watch time faces that can be created and customized, telephone, text, email, sports, weather, news and more still to come! This is the BEST smartwatch that I have ever experienced! Great job Samsung!!

Originally, I bought my son the Samsung S2 and he wears it all the time. he even texts me from school, which is not necessarily good. It has so much functionality that I bought one for myself. I wear it to some meeting because of the notifications so I don't have to be rude and always look at my phone when in a meeting. I have some very expensive watches but usually choose to wear the S2. My son uses many of the functions but I use it mostly for the notifications, which are great and for fitness tracking as I like to bike. Great product in relation to the other similar products on the market. very comfortable as well.

Received this watch as a Christmas gift and I love it! Great for knowing who is calling me or texting me when my phone is not easily accessible. Wish there were more apps for it, but that will come with time. Great battery life and looks great with scrubs or even my my "normal" clothes!

Very pleased with the look and the functions. I have been at these smartwatches for a long time and I think that the Samsung S2 is exactly what I wanted. Keeps me up to date on e-mails and texts and it is a quick way to answer calls. Other added apps also help me out with health activities.

I tried 4 watches before this. Pebble had a great battery but did poor Job on steps. Ha watts ,miss spelled did some things very well but others not so good. So on all did some things well and some not well. Now the gear s2 is not the best or worst in any area but overall is my choice.

I purchased my "Samsung - Gear S2 Classic Smartwatch 40mm Stainless Steel - Black Leather" as a gift to myself. I really like the look of the classic Samsung watch and the apps available for it. Be careful not to purchase a used or returned one of these watches because they have a registration code built into them and if the original owner registered and activated it then you will be SOL. I purchased my first one from BestBuy and had this issue. Samsung said that I would have to track down the original owner and get them to inactivate the tracking registration - a way to find the watch and shut it down if it goes missing. Luckily BestBuy made good on my issue and exchanged it for a watch that was not activated yet. If you have a large wrist like mine, then it is easy to find larger watch bands on Amazon or other watch shops because BestBuy does not carry them - I wish that they did. Anyway, I'm enjoying having my Samsung watch talk to my Samsung Note 5.

Pros: works smoothly with S7 edge great battery life love that it's water resistant looks fantastic , definitely more stylish then the apple watches Cons: Even though the classic version is more expensive then the regular S2, this classic does not have speaker like the regular S2, so you can't hear videos even though you can watch them. If you play games on it, it's all silent. Also you can't talk into it during a call as it does not have 3g/4g capabilities...which is pretty depressing. These con's really do bother me. But, it's still a great looking, functional watch.

I had one of the earlier editions of Samsung's Gear watches and I loved it. It provided all the functions I needed and then some. After years of faithful service it bit the dust on me and I pretty much knew I wanted another Samsung as a replacement. My wife has another brand that she let me use while I researched replacements and using it was nowhere near as satisfying, and the Samsung is listed at a much better price point than the leading competitor. After purchasing the new Samsung replacement I found it had even more features than my previous watch such as doubling as a fitness watch and allowing me to respond to calls from the watch itself, which is like icing on the cake (my wife's watch had the call answering feature, but the built-in speaker was difficult to hear, particularly with any background noise). I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I chose this Gear S2 instead of Iwatch because of it's style. However I can't connect it with my iPhone nor my Galaxy tab pro. Nevertheless I still love it and use it as a regular watch for now. I would recommend it if you have a galaxy phone to pair with it

While this Samsung Gear S2 is just as much of a workhorse as the cheaper versions, I really could not pass up having this one that is so pretty to look at. This 18K gold version is just a better fit for me when it comes to everyday wear. I think that it looks less intrusive than the black polymer model. It does all the same things just looks better. I use it to track my steps, heart rate, exercise time. I also rely on it to send me texts from my phone and alerts from my security cameras at home. Would definitely recommend for women who want the functionality of a smart watch but in a upscale version.

My husband loves his watch. It looks very classy, he loves being able to receive his text messages and being able to monitor the fitness. Only bad thing is not being able to talk through his watch.

I have had this product now for about 1 month and a half. I am enjoying it. I am giving it 5 stars because of my overall experience with the item. I'll start with the simplest, the way it looks. I am a female and I thought it was more for males, but I wear a lot of black and really like the way it looks. Especially when changing the band to match your outfit and/or event your going to. Also, changing the band it fairly easy. I thought since it was a smart watch it would be a lot harder, but all you need to do is push the buttons on the leather bands inward. The hard part depends on the bands you purchase. Moving on to the functionality of the watch... It is fairly easy to navigate, although one might have to watch some videos to learn more detail process. But overall I love the widgets and apps. I especially like the step counter. I enjoy the fact that I get to look at everything on my watch. I can view calls, but unfortunately not answer them vocally. You have to answer on the watch and talk on the phone. (if that makes sense) I can see my texts and respond. I can check weather and stress levels. One of the best parts is that you could change the image on the watch. You can switch it to match the mood your in, to match your clothes, or just have something that will brighten your day (like seeing Snoopy show some love). I don't really write so much for reviews, but this might just show you how much I enjoy the watch.

Bought this for my wife, she really enjoys it. Wears it every day. Says her favorite features (beyond the look) are the notifications and battery life.

The Gear S2 Classic is by far the best I have experienced. The interface and functions are very polished. It is extremely smooth functioning. The battery is lasting me about 3 days +/_ depending on usage.There is nothing bad i can say about it. Very pleased!!!

This one combines it all. It has an awesome tracking system for the fitness part of it and looks like a watch. Many different faces to choose from. The band is super easy to change out. All around, is great. Highly recommend this one.

I like this smart watch. It is not to big and Gaudy. I trend to turn my cell phone off and forget to turn it back on, so this smart watch is great at giving me a alert about a phone call or email. The only thing I don't like about it is its lack of apps.

First, I am not tech savvy. I bought this watch to go with my phone which is a Galaxy 6edge. I am not the kind of person that lives and breathes as long as have my phone in hand. I forget my phone at home a lot or can't find it in my pocketbook because I don't have a "special" place for it. With that being said, I bought this so that I will not miss important call or texts. It has proved to be invaluable in that respect. I have a large learning curve to use all apps, but am planning on adding the workout or smart health, in my workouts. I am hoping to also use it in some capacity at work with alarms and such. If it proves to be a great addition to work I will add another review. Being old school, I wish that Samsung offered a nicer (color) leather watch band for the classic for women. The leather choices are not very appealing and I can only wear the leather.
