Life changing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It had been easy for me to dismiss the thought of buying a smart watch until my wife got one of these for Christmas. After seeing what all it could do I ran out and got myself one. Functions seamlessly with my Samsung Note and with the many ways it interacts it surprised me how often I go to my watch for what I'm doing instead of my phone. News bulletins, caller id, alarms, quick response to incoming messages and many other convenient apps I now can't live without all on my wrist. Best gadget/organizational tool since the advent of the smart phone. Well worth the money.

Great smart watch for android
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great smart watch for android users. I had a gear 2 neo before that I broke the band on and it was going to be $50 to replace the band, when I saw that this had a standard band I decided to take the plunge and buy it. I don't like that you can't use speakerphone from the watch to make hands free calls like I could with my neo. I love the bezel navigation. Wireless charging is great and it just looks like a watch until you start to use it. Nike + on it is kind of cool although I haven't yet gotten a chance to use that function. It's fairly accurate on step count and heart beat monitoring. I have given it a 4 only because I'd really have given it a 4.5 due to taking away the speaker phone functionality like the neo had that I loved but everything else is spot on and exactly what I needed from a smart watch.

What I was looking for in a smart watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was interested in a new watch and wanted to get this one mainly because of how it looked. It ended up being easy to use and I get compliments on it all the time. Knocked off a star b/c the screen freezes now and then.

I love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my "Samsung - Gear S2 Classic Smartwatch 40mm Stainless Steel - Black Leather". I have large wrists and the largest band did not fit well (the last hole and tight). The watch comes with a large and small band. It's easy to change the bands. Luckily, I was able to visit a local watch repair store and change the band to a larger band. Now the watch fits perfectly. I love the way you can change the watch faces. Just download a new one - easy! I love all of the apps that you can use with this watch - especially, the exercise and health apps - they are helpful. I'm still exploring all of the capabilities with the available apps. It works well with my Samsung Note 5 phone.

Awesome Smart Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the Gear S2 Sport to the Gear S2 Classic and I've noticed the quality of the rotating bezel is much nicer. The leather gives the watch a more casual look so that you can wear it with almost any outfit. Feature wise, this device is a good notifier when you're away from your phone. I work in an office where I have to move around a lot, it's nice to get notifications on the watch when your phone is charging at the desk.

Great smart watch for $
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gear Classic is very nice for the purposes I purchased it for. Meaning, if you don't need or want 3G or 4G capability it does everything. I have NO negative comments. If it could he improved, it would be in regards to the apps available.

Nice watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product thinking that I would be able to receive calls on the watch itself, and was saddened to hear that that isn't possible because of my cell carrier. The watch face is nice and the fact that you can change out faces is great. @pple has Mickey, well Samsung has the Peanuts Gang. The leather band on this watch is pretty freaking nice, makes you feel as if it's a real classic watch. I have it synced up with the S6 Edge, so I can control what notifications go to the watch, and this is great because you don't want too many items notifying you because it depletes the battery fairly rapidly if you have a bunch of notifications. I have twitter, sms messaging, email and S-Health which is enough for me. The S-Health on this thing is seamlessly integrated with the phone. It monitors my sleep habits rather well and heart rate. If there was one con I would say battery life. I wish it had a little better battery life, but other than that I am more than pleased and am curious to know what the newer model will have. Oh lastly, you can swap out the leather band, with a metal one or any standard one I believe. I have seen quite a few bands on Amazon.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a stylish smartwatch that could be my fitness watch as well as give me notifications for my meetings. Would like a few more apps and would like it to be compatible with MyFitnessPal. Love it!! Wish I would have gotten it sooner. Put it off due to the cost. My fabulous kids bought it for me after I looked at it every time I walked into Best Buy.

Classic look, great tech
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I was interested in smart wearable tech, but also wanted to look like an adult (unlike those plastic fit bit watches, which reminds me of the $20 Casio watches we wore in elementary school). These watches give one the ability to track steps and over all fitness goals, while also being at home in a dinner party or gathering. The metal design and the larger straps are rugged and sturdy, with a classic, professional look. My family loves it, and I find I don't have to fiddle with my phone so much

Classy Watch, Excellent Features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I believe Samsung is the only one to date to successfully integrate a watch bezzel which adds to the functionality of the watch - an important consideration when dealing with a small watch interface. It also integrates well with the comprehensive S-Health app on my Samsung Note 4 - another important consideration. In the future they plan on deveoping an app for it which will communicate with my Samsung SmartThings Hub to control my smart home. I can control the selection and volume of music streaming from my NAS at home to my headphones while out on a walk. .. and much, much more. A great product at a reasonable price!

Excellent smart watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using the Gear S2 Classic for about 5 months. Love the fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, and customizability of downloading new watch faces. Keeps it interesting to look at every few weeks. Battery life lasts me about 2 days usually, but i have screen disabled when not looking at it, and auto heart rate turned off with a brightness level of 5. 2 days is quite sufficient for me, but I'm not looking at our playing with the watch constantly. Overall, it's been very nice to have.

Good smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided between the 3G version and this one because of the ability to leave my phone at home with the 3G version, and simply use my watch for everything. When I saw what my phone bill increase would be, I decided to get the bluetooth version instead. I really like the watch so far after having it for a few days. I find that the apps can sometimes be slow, but the watch is a great compliment to my phone. I like that I can leave my phone in my pocket more often by checking email titles or other notifications on my watch. Using S voice to speak your texts can be hit or miss sometimes, but when it works it's pretty nice to be able to talk and send a text in a matters of seconds from your wrist. It's also a nice looking watch with nice complementary watch faces. As the gear lifespan continues, more and more will flood the market I assume. I think the watch can definitely improve, which will probably happen with the gear s3 when it's revealed. But for now, the gear s3 is a top of the line product with it's share of flaws and successes. It was a solid buy for me.

Beauty, Function and Room For Uprades
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung has decided to go toe-to-toe with the Apple Watch. Sleek design that is stylish for work but proper for play. Many useful apps (not quite as many as Apple Watch but none that the average user would miss). Can store enough music for a marathon. Battery life is decent. Lasted for me for about two days without recharge, which is good if you use the sleep monitor app (but with limited battery life, not an every day app). It has a USB 2.0 base type charger which allows for in-home as well as mobile charging in a car. If you forget the base on a long trip however, there is no readily available secondary means for charging the watch. Without the base, you will simply be without the watch until you get it back to the base. I bought a back up base and left it in my car and travel with a spare watch. I bought a not-so-good Jabra wireless headphones. So my true assessment of the music sound quality from the watch is TBD. Overall a bit pricey but definitely worth it to me...for now. I suspect next version of this smartwatch will address gaps in functionality and add more apps/funtions for the same price. I'm also a little concerned as Samsung recently came out with Samsung Gear Icon X, which is an earbud style headset that would be perfect with the watch, but I'm not sure if it is designed to work with this watch. I'm a bit worried that next version of the Gear X will be seamless with the next gen Samsung Gear Icon X ear bud and they'll both come out before I feel I've gotten my money's worth out of this version. Other than tangential concerns and a few glitches (e.g., It froze and I I had to reboot it one time), definitely a worthy acquisition. If they could just make it water proof so I can use it to do laps in the pool, that would be great!

awesome watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very light and comfortable watch. Many people that I run across they give great compliment and say that they didn't even realize that it is a smart watch. As far as functionality, it works perfectly with my galaxy note 5. Health app stuff records and syncs with no issues. Flexible on which notifications you want to receive. Battery life is okay too. Usually last about 3 days with full charge. And full charging takes about 2~3hrs. The only thing is that if I don't have my charger and I'm out of town there is no way to charge it because they don't even sell the charger separately.

Comfortable Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very cool for someone who is tech savvy. Bought one for myself and my husband and he loves his. Wears it everyday and it holds up. He works in landscaping and it has yet to scratch.

Almost perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my husband for Christmas to replace his Fitbit Surge and it's nearly perfect. He uses it all the time and really enjoys the call features such as dialing and answering the phone while driving. The only thing that is keeping me from buying one is the lack of fitness apps available. My fitbit automatically syncs with my insurance plan, giving me an automatic discount for being active, but there are no available apps on the S2 that will perform this function (and there are several my health plan works with.) Unfortunately, this isn't a good match for me for this reason until they add more compatible fitness apps. Other than that, it's a beautiful watch that works perfectly.
