I.'m really liking the watch. I like all the capabilities available at my wrist. I get my notifications from emails, texts, phone calls, fitness, and even sports and news. There are many watch faces available and can even switch up the wristbands which I haven't yet but will soon. It's a great watch. I just wish sprint sold the 3g version.

I've had the gear s2 for about a month now and came from a Moto 360 1st Gen, which was my first smartwatch. Personally, I like the gear much better. The ui is great and fun to navigate with the rotating dial. The size is great as the moto 360 was too big for me. My wrists are not too big though so some may prefer the larger screen on the Moto. However, screen quality wise, the gear s2 blows the Moto 1st Gen out of the water with much higher pixel density and better black levels. Some of the watch faces look fantastic on this thing. Some may find the list of apps a little limiting compared to Android Wear or an iWatch, but for me it does everything I used it for on my Wear watch, and in some cases more. I can control my music, reply to and delete emails and texts and even hail an uber with it. Battery life, great enough? This watch can easily get a day even with ambiant mode on (Watch face shows black and white watch face as compared to nothing when not using it). Even two full days is not out of reach, plus it charges so quick that you can throw it on the charger for a half hour and easily get many more hours out of it. Before my Moto 360, I never really wore a watch. Once I got the Moto, went to wearing it about 2-3 days a week. Since the day I've gotten the Gear s2, I've worn it everyday.

Watch is great. The straps are awfully designed.

The watch is great. I love the rotating bezel and wouldn't choose another watch because of it. It's a really simple watch to use, and it does all the basic functions. I don't need it for games or anything. The vibration on my wrist is more than enough to get my attention. The only two problems I've had within a month of owning this watch is that the rubber lining underneath the bezel started to come out. I would rotate the bezel, and sometimes it would be extremely hard to rotate. As I keep rotating it, a small thin black piece of rubber would come out. Happened a couple times within the first few weeks. The other problem is that the plastic part of the strap that's attached to the connector (the portion of the strap that connects onto the watch body) is terribly designed. I haven't submerged the watch in water or used it roughly. I put it on in the morning and take it off at night. For both sides, the strap rubber has come off the connecting portion. The picture with both the watch and the strap: The metal portion in the strap is the connection part. On the watch, it came off the strap and is now stuck on my watch and won't come off. The second picture shows the watch body without the connection part.

I use this watch everywhere: sleep, workout, work, shower, everyday use Pros: Batter life, turning bezel, size Con: Watch bands break and if you fix it'll never be the same. Trust me just go with the classic. Replacement bands for the S2 is just way too expensive. about 50$....that's about 25% of what the product cost....

Love, love, love my gear. I enjoy wearing a watch again and not always having to look for my phone for the time. Im glad I was able to get rid of my fitbit as the gear counts my steps more accurately, I can add my water and coffee intake and after an hour or so it even reminds me to get up and get moving. When working out I listen to my music directly fron my watch into my bluetooth headset and I dont have to bring my phoe with me. There is only one downfall and its not the watch, its the white band. It looks so crisp and clean but it gets dirty really quickly. I read that you can clean it with a magic eraser so I am going try that. But in the meantime I just purchased a cheap replacement black band and have no issues.

Im very pleased with my Samsung track watch. It does everything and more. I can put my own pictures of my grandchildren or any scene i wish. It lets me know if call coming in on my phone or text. It tracks my steps and lets you know how your doing. You can add food calorie chart plus much more. Overall it's a great tracker. I try two other brands and wasn't pleased at all. Thank you samsung

Best feature to me is the ability to store music on the watch itself because one day my phone died before i went running but i forgot i had previously preloaded a few tracks on it so i turned on & connected my bluetooth headset and like elephant man i was good to go.

I love this watch. I got it open box; no scratches or problems and purchased the 2yr warranty. Easy to operate, download apps esp for someone not so tech savvy like myself. You can cater to your lifestyle and Samsung is constantly evolving with more devices that interface with watch. I was also able to sync watch with BLU Android fun. No complaints yet

I had purchased a Moto 360, and I returned it after trying this one out. I really believe that Tizen is superior to Android wear. And it integrates perfectly with a Galaxy phone. Great battery life, and more and more apps are starting to show up.

This watch is perfect for me, a registered nurse, who likes to keep track of my activity and view important messages without carrying my phone on my person at work (I can leave it anywhere on the floor and still get my messages). It is useful at night for heart rate and respiration counting and my patients always compliment the design. When I wash my hands and wrists I don't have to worry about getting it wet and it cleans and rinses easily. The only complaint is have is the inability to make phone calls with the watch. You can talk to it for commands but can't speak to/hear a person on the phone? Kinda lame but I wouldn't use that function anyway if it had it.

I LOVE this watch. Didn't even know I needed it

I love my Gear S2. Over about a week, I have physically tried out the Gear S2, the Asus ZenWatch and the Moto 360 2nd generation. The only watch I loved was the Gear S2. After doing my research on which smartwatch to get, I had made my decision on the Asus ZenWatch. Unfortunately Best Buy didn’t have one of those available for me to try out or even put on my wrist. (Bad sales move Best Buy.) While I was going back and forth about buying something that I hadn’t even seen in real life, the in-store Samsung representative got a hold of me. While in the store I was having an airhead moment and couldn’t remember the main reason why my final choice was the ZenWatch (the Android Wear OS) so I ended up being swayed. He showed me the watch, let me put it on my wrist. Demonstrated how it worked and all it could do. Before I knew what happened, he had paired my phone and I was out the door with a beautiful new watch (at twice the price) on my arm. Although I loved it, once I got home, I remembered why I wanted the ZenWatch, the Android Wear operating system. Well I couldn’t spend that much money without being completely sure that’s what I wanted so 2 days later I bought the ZenWatch. I wore both of them for one day but never really formed an affinity for the ZenWatch. It was heavy and slow and not as easy to use. (My full review of the ZenWatch is available under that product.) I returned the ZenWatch and exchanged it for the Moto 360 2nd gen. Since I was already in the $300 range for a smartwatch, why not compare apples to apples (no pun intended.) [Both the Gear S2 and the Moto 360 2nd gen have a heart rate monitor; the ZenWatch does not.] After forcing myself to wear the Moto 360 for one full day, I finally decided the keep the Samsung Gear S2. I was skeptical about why to get a smartwatch but I was bored with the standard watches I had and wanted a fitness tracker so I thought I’d treat myself for my birthday. O. M. G. Life is so much easier with a smartwatch. You’re not so tied to your phone (in your hand) when the key functions are on your wrist. At my job, I turn off my ringer and put the phone away in the drawer. I may hear the phone in the drawer, but with every vibration being the same instead of unique notifications, I don’t know if I’ve received junk mail or an important text. With a smartwatch, I can glance at my wrist and know if action is needed. I can quickly send a short response without opening up my phone. (Isn’t that what the middle age working generation is all about? We know it’s not professional to have our phones glued to our hands as an extra appendage but we still want to respond to certain things in real time.) I’ll start with the cons of the S2 just because there are fewer of those. I really didn’t want a sports gadget on my wrist on a daily basis. I wanted something that looked like a normal (dressy) watch. I didn’t want to try the Tizen operating system. I’m skeptical of trying a new operating system before it becomes well established. Tizen doesn’t have as many apps as Android Wear. How reliable is this rotating bezel going to be? I’ve found the rotating bezel does get moved (activated) when putting on or taking off shirts and jackets. It is slightly heavier than an everyday standard watch. In spite of all those cons, the Gear S2 is still an amazing device. First and foremost, the S2 is easy to use! I like that is has 2 buttons on the side instead of one single button. Sometimes you need to go BACK but not START OVER. At other times you’re done with working with an app and want to go back to the watch face. Very smart! Using the bezel you can scroll through the apps not just one at a time but the face of the watch has a circle of apps to choose from (so time efficient!) It’s easy to choose which apps to be able to scroll through AND you can reorder them very easily from your phone. You can easily edit the texts and missed calls/missed texts that you send. The voice recorder for sending texts, etc is super sensitive and accurate. The heart rate monitor is fairly accurate. I personally don’t use the watch as a fitness tracker, mainly because the watch is a little heavy and I don’t wear my watch 24/7 but it did make me aware that I’m not as active as I thought I was and I do need a fitness tracker. It also alerts me to get off my backside if I’ve been sitting too long (an hour or more) and praises me when I do get up. It's helpful when I’ve gotten home from work but I’ve forgotten to take my phone out of my bag or forgotten to turn the ringer back on, the phone still alerts me that I have a call, text, etc. It’s kind of ironic. With this smartwatch I’m more connected to my contacts, including my on-line world but I’m less connected to my physical phone so it feels less intrusive. One last con - I tend to talk with my hands. The watch does light up repeatedly while I’m talking which is a little distracting to the conversation; the person you’re talking to sees the watch light up as our eye is drawn to flashes of light. I’m sure I can figure out how to minimize that little problem. I still which I could change out the watch band and that it didn't look so much like a sports device. (Theoretically there will be interchangeable watch bands but they’re not out there yet.)
