This thing is great. It has a lot of great features. My wife has the Apple Watch and this thing looks way better.

Great watch with lots of functions. Bought a few weeks ago and really enjoy the features. It is a bit bulky, but get used to it after a wearing it for a while. Favorite app is the Samsung Health and it completely syncs with the app on phone. Voice feature is nice and the text function is super easy to use. I really recommend this watch. The swivel bezel to access apps, play games and sift through settings is convenient. Haven't found anything to say negative about it.

Easy to use, definately plug and play. Very light on your wrist easy to forget you are wearing it. Clear sound.

I bought the watch after looking at all the reviews from other people and I'm glad I did. I can tell you that this is by far one of the better watches out there. The battery life is amazing and having Samsung Pay is icing on the cake. If you are on the fence, just do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't regret it.

I love this smart watch! It has inspired me to walk more. Love the feature that counts the flights of stairs I climb, and inspires me to do more. It is already getting easier to climb 10 flights. Love the feature that reminds me to move if I've been sitting too long. Getting up and just moving around a little makes a big difference in my energy level. This thing is great! And there a lots more features that I use regularly. Great buy and worth every penny.

This watch is very versatile, my husband loves it. He bought an aftermarket metal band to dress it up for dressier occasions and has received many complements on it. The option to change the face appearance is one of his favorite features. Seamless integration with his Samsung phone. Great purchase!

I lost my S2 classic and decided to replace it with this model. BTW, wireless chargers are different. Autonomy is way larger than S2, size and screen too. Ths leather bracelet is very thick which is less comfortable than S2. I got arm skin issue: the first week but not it is ok.I charge it once ever 4 or 5 days while it rings on every work email arriving. S2 needed to recharge every 2 days with same usage. I still suffer disconnections from my Note Edge but I suspect the phone to be the culprit. Good purchase

I was very excited to get the opportunity to use and review the Samsung Gear S3. I have an IT background, and am an early adopter. I am also a watch aficionado and know what I want and like in a watch. I have been unimpressed with smartwatch development, features, and style so far and thought the Gear S3 may be the first entry in the market I could get behind. For the most part this is true. I have used the watch for a few days now and I am ready to give some of my thoughts. I was very impressed at how far the UI has come. The UI is snappy and intuitive. I really liked the features offered. The S3 has GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, Barometer, and heart rate all on board so it is useful even without your phone nearby. There are plenty of watch faces, apps and widgets available, although I hope the future bring more. I noticed that even if I left the watch at home it was still connected to my phone via WiFi and could be administered remotely from my phone, even across town. I also used it to talk to my wife several times, using it as a speaker phone. I felt a bit like a dork talking to my wrist but the clarity is there. Now the bad. I am not a fan of the design. I absolutely hate the styling of the Classic version I was sent. I would never go for it myself, although I can see how it would appeal to others. I do like the looks of the Frontier and if I had to choose one the Frontier would be it. There are overall design elements I cannot look past. Mainly the watch body is still far too large. The build quality is great, and I like that the lower watch body is steel, but the thickness is just too much. It made me feel like I was wearing a giant children's toy walkie-talkie on my wrist. My phone is thinner than this thing. I also found the leather watch band very thick and uncomfortable, however this could be easily changed since it uses standard 22mm watch bands and there plenty of options. I am very glad to have the opportunity to test the watch out. I had been considering purchasing one, and now I can save my money. I find the feature and usage to be great and can't wait to see the what the future will bring for the smartwatch segment. However the design leaves much to be desired. Warren K.

Having samsung pay access, and a native Spotify app makes this perfect even for non samsung phones.

Due to bad watchband on Moto 360 I chose the Classic but was not satisfied with it because it was larger and brighter. I replaced the Classic w/ Samsung GearS3 Frontier.

I brought it for my son.and it's fit for college boys.makes their life easier with stylish look.

My boyfriend bought this watch and loves it. It has great battery life and easily connects to his phone. He really likes the classic look with the leather strap as well as the wireless charging. It charges really quickly. The face is a good “man” size for a watch.

This is my first step into smartwatches. I thought I wanted a big square face so I could see more, but the rounded face still provides a very clear and informative display. I am still learning shortcuts and the best app uses for the watch. I find myself carrying my phone and not looking at it much. I enjoy being able to see my notifications and take calls with ease. The sound clarity for phone calls I'm told is clear for the receiving caller, and for myself the sound is nice. Turning the speaker to max while driving (my truck has a loud cab and a whistling window) I heard the conversation clearly but I could hear the speaker at its max. I've used the Spotify app for it and it worked well playing music from the watch again was nice but when you max the speaker you hear the speaker trying. With the 2atch being relatively new to the consumer market there is a lack of apps and faces to choose from. I've found a few faces I like to switch between and the apps aren't overly lacking. I feel in time there will be more development for interaction with my daily apps. The voice to speech for texting and searching is not as crisp as when I ask Google bit that could change with updates.

Truthfully, I haven't had any interest in watches for a long time but finally these smart watches have enough handy features that a watch becomes so much more than time...it becomes useful and even fun. Absolutely adore Samsung Pay on this watch and is probably my primary reason for owning it. Once you see people's hesitant and disbelieving stares turn in to pleasantly surprised smiles when your magical watch transaction goes through, it really makes having the watch fun. The fitness/activity tracker as well as steps challenges are fun ways to add fitness to the day. Also, the notification rely from a Samsung phone is on point. And who would have thought you could actually text successfully on a watch face sized screen, well unbelievably Samsung made it possible. By the way, I love the style of this watch. If you want drab, go with Apple but this one is elegant, solidly built and has a true always on display option if you want to "disguise" the smart watch as a regular good looking watch. Love it

The watch was an open box. It was not in excellent condition.They had another available. It was in better shape, but band was pretty rough. Would not allow me to exchange with the other open box unit. But hey..Hence open box....Be careful with Samsung and Best buy. They do not understand these products. They advertise them as being able to make calls or use GPS stand alone. Not on the version they sell at their stores. You can only make calls using blutooth. If you want the full Dick Tracy experience, You have to buy the watch from a carrier (AT&T verizon, Tmobile) because those models come with a virtual SIM card or decoded for their network. Its also $50 more with them. In my case..did not need it, but when you contact Samsung, they dont even know. Best buy also was clueless about it. The watch is super nice. I changed the band to a stainless steel (amazon) cause ( of course) samsung does.not carry one, neither does best buy. The watch samsung pay feature is awesome. I have the samsung S8 and works like a charm. Watch has couple of bugs, but liveable. Battery life is acceptable. About 3 days charge on heavy use.This is the price you pay for early adoption.
