Beautiful look, great battery life, works wonderfully when paired with a Samsung device. Love having a physical rotating bezel.

Just got one for Xmas, so I don't have extended experience with it yet, but so far I love it. Here's my thoughts:
Battery: Put it on first thing Xmas morning, used it pretty heavily throughout the day playing with it, had the "Always On" mode on, and it still had around 30% battery by midnight. So far, I'm about 3 hours into Day 2, haven't used it a ton, and it's at 92%. So I don't think you'll ever have an issue getting through an entire day. And if you turn off the Always on and used it lightly I could definitely see getting 3 days out of it before charging
Band: the one that comes with it sucks. But hopefully you do your homework and make sure to order replacements beforehand. It's pretty easy to replace and there are some nice quality bands out there that will make it look really good on your wrist
Functionality: Very smooth OS, and the bezel navigation is cool and flawless. Pairs easily with my Nexus 6P and haven't had any issues.
Fitness: Seems to be pretty good at tracking steps, though not perfect. Heartrate monitoring can be hit or miss. Obviously if you need that stuff to be deadly accurate you should go with a fitbit or garmin, but personally I can sacrifice those being imperfect for the other nice features Samsung brings to the table
Apps: Haven't had much of a chance to really see what the selection is like, but I have basically everything on it that I want. There's TONS of watch faces to choose from too. Still trying to settle on one.
Charging: The magnetic charging dock is great, and the box it comes in doubles as a stand for it
That's all I can think of for now. Great device

I bought this watch about 3 weeks ago after my Huawei got water in it and started acting up. I was skeptical at first because of the rotating bezel, but now I love it. It makes accessing your apps (what limited few are available for it) much easier. The battery lasts 4 to 5 days on normal mode, my last watch only last 2.5 and that was with it on stand by most of the time.
Overall, I live the watch, just wish it had more apps.

Much better than the S3 sport, battery life is excellent, I could go 4 days without charging watch. The speaker to the watch is clear and loud and the Samsung pay is very reliable, no need to have your credit cards with you , you can store all of your credit cards on the watch and most merchants accept Samsung pay and also I like switching watch bands on it.

I got my first smart watch with my Galaxy S5 and was hooked so when I upgraded to the Note 8 (and my watch wasn't compatible) I had to look at the new models. (More than one)
So glad did. I've had so many compliments and love the new features like the bezel. The only thing changed was the band. I have a small wrist and I wanted something more feminine.

Easily Integrates with Everyday Life

I was very excited to begin using the Samsung Gear S3 Classic once it arrived. Setup was very easy and everything necessary was included in the box (sans smartphone, of course). I actually left the US to travel abroad the day after I got my hands on the watch and it has come in great handy here in Europe. I was able to download a converter app that allows me to easily convert foreign currency values to USD, metric measurements to imperial, and other such things. I am definitely glad that I have it. Now let's get into the pros and cons:
Pros:
• Sleek design
• Easy-to-navigate interface
• Great integration with smartphone
• Very precise touch screen (I almost always am able to tap the correct icon if there are a lot in a small space)
• Lots of customization options
• Great battery life (I can go 3-4 days without charging mine)
• Wireless charging stand is included
• Many additional apps can be installed
Cons:
• The watch strap is a little stiff and has some slight creases at the holes I typically secure it on.
• The rotating bevel could "click" into place better (I often find myself having to spin the bevel the opposite way because it spins so easily and I pass the option I was trying to get to)
• There are "home" and "back" buttons but no "select" button so if you want to select an option you have to tap the icon on the screen. So even though the bevel can rotate to indicate a specific icon on the apps screen, you can't select that icon with a button; you have to tap it, which seems a little redundant because you could just tap the icon from the start without rotating the bevel to indicate it.
• The S Health app sends me "keep up the good work" and "that was a nice walk" notifications on the watch during and after walking somewhere as "encouragement" but honestly it's kind of annoying and I've disabled all of the health nudges in the app but it hasn't stopped these notifications.

Another great product from Best Buy. Samsung watch does everything I wanted it to do and more. Love the different watch faces including my favorite, “ Charlie Brown”. The best part of this watch is that I can answer and talk on my watch. Awesome! Thank you again Best Buy for making it possible for me to buy great products.

I had a Moto 360 and decided to buy a new smartwatch to have two different colors for different outfits. I ended up only using this one, it works way better. Step and activity measures are much more accurate, also Samsung pay works great. I would totally recommend this watch. Only downside is its size, it is bulky.

I really like this watch. And it doesn't matter that watch looks a little bit big on my wrist because I am a tiny women. Very usefully gear in every day. The true is that it requires time to learn how to use it well. Most difficult for me is to txt back using this smart watch, but hey that's some technology!

The Samsung Gear S3 Classic Wins Me Over
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
So, how would the Gear S3 win over a person who hasn't felt the need to wear a watch in 20+ years? The answer is easy . . . a good combination of fashion and function. Some convenient features:
- stainless steel, waterproof design
- smart communication alerts which sync through all of your devices.
- handy predetermined replies which can be created and stored
- S Voice feature allows you to send a speech to text reply
- easy scrolling by means of touch screen or physical dial
- track your heart rate, floors climbed, steps taken, appointments
- sync to your S Health account
- send texts, make phone calls, record voice reminders
- use as a stand alone navigator
- access your Spotify account
- pay at the checkout with Samsung Pay
- the camera app, which uses the RF or FF camera on your phone to secretly take a photo.
Did I mention that it also tells time? The watch is beautiful and handy, but why take my word for it? Try one out today. I think that you'll agree that your watch should do more than simply keep track of time.

I absolutely love this watch

I got this watch on a whim thinking I deserved to get something nice for myself and I have to say I am truly impressed by it. It does absolutely everything you could want or need. Forget carrying the phone around the house as long as the watch has wifi to connect to then you are good to roam without it. The screen and case are built tough but classy which I love I work in a steel factory and am around machines and metal all day long and have yet to put a scratch in it or anything. I get compliments all the time on the appearance and no one every realizes its not a fancy watch like a rolex until I show them and then they are just absolutely amazed too. It does an amazing job at tracking your sleep, steps, calories burned. I didn't realize how much I actually did in a day at work. The battery life is to die for wish my phone battery lasted as long, I charge it while I'm in the shower and its good to go. I've gone 4 days without charging and that's using it for samsung pay, calls and texts. This watch will change your life!

You know how when you get a new tech you, you use it for a bit and then it’s like...meh? Not this time. I have a smaller wrist, so I was a little unsure if the watch face would be too big or not. Nope, it looks great. Totally functional. This watch reminds me to get moving if I’ve been sedentary for too long. It has this awesome emergency location feature that I freaked my best friend out a bit while testing (sorry M). I use it. I get emails, phone calls, text messages, Messenger alerts, etc without having to have my phone right in front of me at all times. I can also send quick voice messages in response to emails and texts without having to go grab my phone. Love it. I don’t wear it to bed, so I haven’t used any sleep trackers at all. But all in all, this watch is my favorite tech purchase of the year. It doesn’t hurt that I get compliments on how cool it is when the face lights up when they weren’t expecting.

This is a very fashionable watch that was created with practicality in mind. It looks and feels like a "real" watch, but yet has all the attributes of a high end smartwatch.
I would say the one major thing I MISS is the Google Maps turn by turn notifications that other devices master.
Battery life is 2-3 days of normal use.
Step tracking is very accurate
Works with iOS (Limited)

The knock from some people against this watch has simply been the size of it, but if that doesn't bother you, and you think it fits your wrist, there's not much to complain about. Four stars instead of five because of the well-publicized lack of apps when compared to some other smart watches, but those apps that are available work well. Battery life is good, the ability to auto-detect exercise and workouts is a great feature, and who hasn't wanted the flexibility of wearing a classic designer watch one day, and a Mickey Mouse watch the next? The plethora of available watch faces makes switching from one to another a snap. Step counter seems pretty accurate, so does the HR monitor, but the barometer-based stair counter will cheat you for many residential flights of stairs that don't quite hit the 10-foot minimum. (Tip: if you reach down and touch the floor before you walk up the steps, you'll almost always get credit for the one floor climbed when you get to the top) And if you can get past the nerdishness of the "Dick Tracy" talking to your wrist thing, sometimes you'll find it really convenient to answer or make brief phone calls directly from the watch! It's a nice feature to have for the times when it really comes in handy.

This is an awesome watch. I've taken calls in the shower ;0). I count my steps and it gets me moving. The leather band is nice but stiff, will need to be broken in. I love everything about this watch it but it's size. It is a bit bulky and masculine. I purchased other bands to change the feel.. (it reminded me of a stopwatch) which seemed to work with the stainless steel band.. but I could not get over the size. I exchanged for the FRONTIER. I added leather bands instead of the ones it came with and I AM IN LOVE!!!!

I bought this watch because it looked like a watch, and a good one at that. If I was going to track steps, etc., I didn't want to wear a bracelet and a watch. The bezel controls were kind of cool, although the whole "navigation" wasn't totally intuitive to me. I had an iPhone and maybe it would be more obvious if I had an Android phone. Bottom line is I returned it because it was a little too big and I couldn't button some long sleeve shirts over it.
I like the way it could automatically detected when I did certain workouts, like on an elliptical machine. I like the way it made it easy to see daily progress in terms of fitness goals, and also the reminders to get moving if I sat too long. I wish it check heart rate automatically.

This smartwatch pretty much has everything that you need from a smartwatch: fitness-tracking capabilities, media control, customizable watchfaces, a comfortable 2-day battery life. As a jack-of-all trades kind of watch, you'll find other smartwatches that do a specific task better (i.e. fitbit for fitness, pebbles for battery life). However none really come close to the features of this smartwatch. Also samsung pay works way better than any other mobile payment service.

The LG S3 classic is a very great smartwatch it has extra long battery life and a lot of things you could do with watch. best of all it looks like a regular watch not like a toy watch like the Apple watch many people don't even know it's a smartwatch until I start changing the screen using the touch screen or the rotating bezel.I love how I can pay with things using Samsung pay with the watch it is extremely convenient I highly recommend this

I like this watch a lot it was the 4th smart watch I had I had the Michael Kors and fit bit and jawbone. This watch has a very decent battery life for all of its functions I liked the fact that you can answer your phone and text messages right from your watch with your phone being able to be in the bottom of your bag or in another Room the battery life well using the watch on a pretty regular basis is about A-day and a 1/2 if you use the GPS and use it a lot more it would only be about A-day the only reason I did not give the watch 5 stars is because I would like if it had a little bit more water resistance you can go out in the rain or wash your hands by you cannot shower or swim with this watch but all in all compared to everything else out on the market I think this watch is definitely top 2!

Beautiful, I get lots of compliments on it. Battery lasts much longer that other watches I've had. Has a the standard software with it. Hands down the best watch I've had. Band is comfortable too.
