The watch is very good looking and has many different backgrounds that can be changed on the face.. can be used to monitor your exercise, (steps and heart rate), it is a phone, and has many other features.

Despite the fact that I read the awesome reviews people have posted on Best Buy about the product, I was a bit skeptical on whether or not I would actually enjoy the Gear S3 Classic myself. Ugh.... As soon as I took it out of the box, turned it on, put it on wrist (?!?!?!?!) I was marveled!!! Images looks so beautiful and clear, it synced so easily with my Samsung Galaxy S8+, and it's been so accurate on the information it picks up. It has made my life easier since I work in the healthcare field and often find myself unable to take my phone out to see my messages or calls. Calls are made and received easily from the watch... you can hear perfectly clear. Everything is perfect and I do not regret splurging on this.

I use this watch everyday, in fact I feel wrong when I'm not wearing it. It's a very useful watch, I love having it for when I go on runs and tracking how many steps I take. There's a good amount of apps and it has decent battery life. Though I see the battery life going down, it still hasn't been much of a problem. There are actually a good amount of watch faces as well. I use a pipboy fallout app face and love it! I also have a deadpool and legend of Zelda one, but rarely use them.

I am a female and this is my first smartwatch. I like all the features this watch has to offer, specially the speaker. It did take a little getting used to as to begin with this watch felt like a masculine watch but then after a day it did not feel heavy or masculine and I got used to its weight. As it has a touchscreen, the bigger the screen size, the better it is to me. I think it is pretty and have received compliments.

I went in looking to get the new Samsung sport watch as a gift for someone. Seen the classic style and feel in love with it.I wanted to keep it for myself but it was more of a man style. He loves it

I wanted the watch for a long time but I thought it would be to bulky for my wrist being I am a woman . I'm glad I went for it cause I'm Soo happy with the purchase.I get so many compliments on it

I went to Best Buy to purchase a FitBit watch for my husband for his 80th birthday. I also wanted information about a watch that my neighbor has. When the store Associate showed me all the features of the Samsung Gear3 I was amazed. The first thing I thought about was the watch that "Dick Tracy" wore. My husband is able to answer his cellphone using his watch! Unbelieveable and out of sight. The Samsung Consultant in the store took time to explain some of the features to my husband. When we left the store he was beaming and excited about his new toy.

Finally a watch that is smart and looks great. Design allows me to wear it with my business clothes and it looks like it belongs there. This watch cost few hundreds and looks much more expensive.

My wife and I both have S Gear and we love them. She wishes there was a less bulky or prettier one, but still wears it. We do miss the camera from the original version which I wore out finally!

I love everything about my S3 gear classic. The look is what it states, it's a classic watch look. You are unable to distinguish between a regular watch just from the initial look. The watch have great features of a bezel rotating to choose between the applications, volume adjustment, answering and ignoring calls, etc... I have had the bezel to get stiff but I believe this is normal due to dirt and debris getting underneath the bezel. You simply can get a note cards or thin piece of paper and place between the bezel to clean it or when washing your hands simply run it through the water quickly one time or as many times as it takes. This watch is water resistant, meaning it can be submerged under water for a certain amount of time and depth. This helps loosen the bezel to rotate as well. Just make sure you dry it. The difference between classic and Frontier is price, durability, and LTE. The Frontier is more designed like and outdoor sports watch. It has the ability to make calls without the phone near by. With the classic you must have your phone within distance of the watch to make voice calls. Another great feature is that with the classic it has an emergency contact of 911 and any set person that you desire to contact in cases that you are being held hostage or in serious trouble and trying to be discrete. You hit a particular button a certain amount of times and it will call 911 , the people you have programmed , and send your location via gps. It's does have a delay in case you mistakenly hit the button and as for confirmation before sending. Since this looks like a normal watch it will go unnoticeable vs attempting to use a cell phone. For all the health people it has various features as well that tracks and trends your fitness.

I'm in absolute love with this watch, all of the features are amazing. I was a bit skeptical bc of the large size - grab some cute bands from Amazon to make it girly and you're good to go!!

I was skeptical about getting my first smartwatch and i did a lot of research before deciding which one to choose. I finally bought the gear S3 (primarly because i own an edge 7) and i can't be happier. It is very convenient to have access to all your notification and have fitness tracking. Also, samsung pay works like a charm so this is a great addition to the watch. If i have something to complain it will be the lack of apps. Hopefully the catalog improves soon.

For the most part my S3 works flawlessly. If I am up on a ladder and leave my phone on the ground I can still talk on the phone through this watch. I love how I can be standing with clients, have my phone on mute and any texts, calls or notifications show up on my watch that I can see with a quick glance and not have to sluff the client to check my phonem and, I love all the different watch faces and apps you can customize it with. My only complaint is once in a while it seems to disconnect from my phone and then reconnect when the phone is in my pocket or holder., otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

I debated this purchase for a few months. As a woman, the watch is a bit large. But, I decided to give it a try. It's my first smart watch purchase. The good: I feel like I have been liberated from my phone, to a certain extent. I can go upstairs or outside and leave the phone behind and not worry about missing an important call or message. I can answer/make a call from the watch and finish on the phone (Samsung S7 edge) very easily. Dictation for messages works surprisingly well. I bathe my kids with the watch on and have no issues submerging it (briefly). The activity tracker is great. This thing just has great features and I now find myself actually missing it when I am not wearing it. I haven't got the battery to last four days, but I do make it 3 - 3.5 days frequently. The bad: I found that the leather band it comes with (while of excellent quality) rubbed me wrong on my inner wrist. There are loads of compatible bands available online so I bought several. Changing the band was a great choice. There are some fabulous silicone bands that are extremely comfortable and I found two more dressy, metal bands for days when I want to dress the watch up. The other weird thing is it randomly starts listening to me during regular conversations and tells me it can't understand me. It's mostly amusing. But, I wish I could figure out what I am saying/doing that it thinks I want it to take a voice command...so I can stop. Also, if you use anything other than the default phone and messaging applications on your phone, you definitely lose functionality on the watch. It's a little disappointing but I have learned to work around it. Basically, I love this thing and I can't believe I have waited all of these years to make a smart watch purchase.

I got this watch for my husband and he LOVES it. You can speak through the watch I think that's his favorite He love all the widgets it has the more man look to it from the gear s2.

I researched this watch more than any other recent purchase . It has lived up to all expectations. The apps are good and the battery life so far is great (about 25% to 40% per day)

I was skeptical about getting this watch but I'm so happy that I did! It does everything that I need it to do. I love not having to pick my phone up to see who's calling or texting.

I'm an admitted Android groupie with a deep-seated grudge against Apple's hyper-proprietary attitudes. Thus it is with great satisfaction that I report that my S3 Gear watch can do everything my co-worker's Apple watch can do, and possibly more. I even found a watch-face that shows 10 functions at once in an easy to read display PLUS touch-links to five more functions, including phone and music player. The only beef I have is that the heart-rate reader MIGHT be a little off, since it took my watch several minutes to match the readout from my regular heart rate monitor. I have read some complaints from people who were unhappy with the warranty service regarding moisture damage, but this watch is supposed to be water-resistant to 5 feet. That being said, I haven't risked getting mine wet and I'm careful to wipe off any perspiration after working out. So overall, I'm happy. At any rate, I have lots of fun playing with all the apps.

The battery lasts all day and all night and charges very quickly. There are a lot of customizable watch faces and downloadable useful apps. Good health trackers and keeps good time

Looks great comfortable (even on my small wrist) and is functional!! Works perfectly with my Samsung note 8...glad I left Apple!
