OK, it's big. Otherwise I love it. Lots of functions, easy to learn, easy to use. Battery life is good enough. Many watch faces available, but I like the standard one. Buy it

This watch does everything. And the battery life is amazing it stays charged for days at a time.

I bought this watch to replace my HUAWEI Watch android wear watch. Ever since Wear 2.0 came out it was not performing like it use to. So the Gear S3 is a great upgrade. It's very quick, has very good battery life. I usually have around 75% at the end of the day. The screen is bright and clear even in direct sunlight. Using the rotating bezel is very intuitive. Excellent integration when using a Samsung Phone Highly Recommend.

I’m a Apple convert. I had several iPhones and I had an Apple Watch. I bought a Garmin Viveoactive HR. It sucked. I really missed my Apple Watch after using it. After reading and watching several reviews I bought this from Best Buy. I’m loving it. It can accept calls and text just the same as the Apple Watch did. Plus it has a better battery life of 2-3 days. It also looks like a Watch and is not square and clumsy looking.

Excellent fitness tracking and all around great watch. Battery lasts me 3 days, just awesome.

I love this watch. It's sensitive to movement. It logs everything I do without me having to remember. It knows when I sleep. It knows when I start a workout & forgot to start the timer. It keeps track of my calories burned. It's so convenient to keep track of my water intake. And, I get notifications when anything comes through on my phone. It works through Bluetooth, WiFi, & remote access. The GPS feature is unbelievably awesome. Good sound quality for calls & music. Samsung pay on the watch? Oh so convenient! The bands are easily switchable, so I can switch out colors to fit my personality. It's water resistant! The wireless charging is super convenient. No more broken charging cables. There are a lot of apps for it, and there are numerous watch faces to choose from. So many things to mention. I won't keep babbling. Just go get one for yourself. You'll never want to go without it. Everything you ever need will be strapped to your wrist.

What I like: It's bright in daylight. Even with the brightness turned down it's visible in bright sunlight. Battery life is okay 3-4 days max. Huge selection of watch faces to select from. Love the Samsung pay which works like a charm. Syncs with my Android phone real well, no issues with text, email or phone calls. What could be better: Alarm intensity could be bumped up some. Waterproof this baby!

The Samsung Gear S3 may not be the best gym watch, or the best casual smartwatch, or the best outdoors watch, it is the best well-rounded smartwatch on the market. In the world of CrossFit, having to realize that CrossFit shoes have to be the best well-rounded shoe and not the best in any one category was a challenge when first shopping for shoes. This watch fits that same analogy perfectly. Having owned the Gear S2 there were so many expectations and the Gear S3 met those expectations and more. Some updates needed from the Gear S2 include the updated Tinzen software, battery life, making the watch well-rounded to function as a gym watch and casual watch, and update the sensors. There are so many new features and hardware updates done from the GS2 to the GS3 that are amazing, but be advised that this smartwatch will require a few changes for different activities. In the gym, because the watch casing is so large, it should be work on the inside of the wrist with the watch face on the palm side of the wrist. For rock climbing, put the watch the same way as the gym, and for kayaking, put the watch attached to your belt loop so it does not keep getting caught on the inside of the kayak. These are just a few pointers from someone who has been there and has the watch. Overall this watch is a must buy for the person looking to wear the watch to casually, goes on runs (indoor or outdoor), goes to the gym (from bodybuilding to yoga to Zumba), does outdoorsy things (from archery to wake-boarding), and so many other categories. This watch fits us all.

Upgrading from my Moto 360 Gen 2 and so far it's impressed. The battery has gone 2-3 days (moto would last 1.5 tops) and that's on full mode. I'm sure batter mode could go a long while. It monitors activity really well, and when you see the time as your working out, it feels good to see the time racking up. I'm really liking it so far and actually considering getting the Silver one for more formal occasions.

To be honest i dislike apple, i think they are unimaginative and unoriginal hence my samsung bias. I have owned this watch, going into about a year now, and i must say i do not regret my purchase. The only issue is if you run android auto in your vehicle every time you connect and disconnect with your phone still attached it boots your phone off the watch. Other than that i have had no issues. I like being bale to change watch faces, the speak to text has gotten a lot better...batter life is solid. Its also durable, i suggest buying a screen protector for it however, breaking the face is expensive ad you will not even realize the protector it there after a while. There have been times i left both phone and wallet in car and when i needed to buy something samsung pay worked with the watch perfectly fine. But again if you want subpar quality there is always the iwatch :).

I can not say enough about the Samsung Gear 3. I have been diagnosed as a diabetic and bought it to help with my lifestyle change and turns out it saved my life. I had an episode of low sugar and could not get up but due to the fact I can make calls off the watch I was able to summon help. It is also great because I am able to connect it to fitness apps and well it has help me get my sugar on track.

Recently upgraded to Samsung from Apple and had to switch from a series 2 Apple watch to this Gear S3. Honestly, I am very impressed and had out performed the Apple watch in my honest opinion. Only thing it lacks is apps but who seriously uses their watch to play games and pay bills? It has an awesome fitness tracker and built in sleep tracker, something that Apple doesn't offer. For $300, I love it.

I waited and used this Samsung watch for a few weeks before giving a serious review. This Watch works well with the iPhone and the installed apps that is needed. I had to read the instructions and also go to "YouTube" to get a full understanding of just how it works and Widget usage. I do like all the free watch faces you can get and have chosen just a few I like and use for different occasions. Some of the watch faces, for my aging eyes are real hard to read. I find the few Widgets I chose are great. The battery does run down with only 8 Widgets on screen about every 8 to 12 hours. I just put it on the charger for quick charges when not in needed. It keeps track of my sleep and alerts me to exercise during the day. I chose this watch because I need a rugged watch and did buy the glass protection for the face as well as a good steel watch band. I'm very happy with my choice.

I bought a moto-360 right after they came out and was horribly disappointed. this watch is much better. i like the bezel control so i dont have to touch the screen every time to toggle through screens. i LOVE that you can type text responses to messages on the watch, and the call feature works better than i expected too. it even will try to connect to wifi if you dont have your phone with you. battery life is better than the 360 was by quite a bit. the only reason i didnt give 5 stars is i didn't like the band but i got a metal band from amazon that works great.

I purchased when it was marked down. I was leary on buying another sports watch. I don't have any complaints other than I wish the band that it came with was longer. I have big wrists and have other nice watches and don't mind the big round dial. Screen is very bright, love the notifications, easy to make and receive calls. Great gadget for the price. Love it more than the competition.

It can push you to move more than before and should do more exercise with its Apps also It has a good battery life comparing to the most other brands. The bottom line for me is its size and weight but I thing it's a necessary for a smartwatch.

This is my third smart watch, the others being a Moto 360 and the other a Garmin. I’m very happy with this purchase. I initially purchased a refurbished Geek Squad certified one for $209 (versus $299 on sale with a regular price of $349) online, BUT It had burnt pixels on the display, so i went Into the store to return/exchange. They did not have another refurbished unit in stock, so they gave me a NEW one and adjusted the price, for an additional $15 out of pocket, $224 total. I was happy! The watch was super easy to set up. Lots of useful apps. Love the functional use of the side buttons and the rotating bezel. The sleep monitor at night is awesome via S Health. I charge The watch only when I’m in the shower (even though it is waterproof to 5’) and when I’m laying in bed prior to going to sleep. Otherwise it is on my wrist and the better hasn’t gotten below 46% once after weeks of wear. The speakerphone on the watch works great. I use Samsung Pay at credit card terminals regularly and love it. The rubber strap is comfortable, I have a large wrist, initially I was in the second hole, now after three weeks, the third. The built in watch faces look great, are functional, and sufficient, and easy to get more. I love this watch on my Galaxy S7, AND it even works on iPhones, with most items fully functional.

I went to the store to look for a smart watch for my husband Samsung galaxy s8+ phone. After looking at all the ones on display this was the one. The bezzle feature make it easy to switch between screens and apps. He can watch youtube, talk on the phone,text, and listen to music on his watch while his phone is charging. My husband said that this was the best gift he has ever had.

Battery life is great on this. stylish look. not too big for my wrist - borderline, but still ok.. love it so far. have owned for about a month now.

I really love it!!! Im using all the time, for cardio, GPS, Spotify, Read whatsapp messages ... It has all that you wish on the smartwatch S3. Look great, the style and battery its about 2 day and half.. I love the Sensors when your wish to see your watch and move your hand it TURN ON... Also like the No cable attacherd. WIRELESS CHARGE... Its Amazing!! Great Job Samsumg Guys!!!
