Amazing item long lasting battery very helpful for many tasks

I recently switched from a pebble time smartwatch to the Gear S3 Frontier, and I love it! The watch is a nice size for my wrist (I do have larger man hands so keep that in mind, may be too large for some with a smaller wrist, but they conveiniently provide an alternitive band for a smaller wrist in the box), and it is also a nice weight as well. Love th notifications and how you can type replys directly on the watch. I have not tried the samsung pay feature yet seeing my back does nit curently support this, but as soon as it is supported I feel I will always use it. Now for the two negitives I have about this watch, 1) the darker metal easily shows scuffs, and 2) it seems each time I use Android Auto with my Galaxy S7, I loose the conection to the watch, which would be fine if it reconnected without me needing to go into the gear app and hit the "connect" button. But other than that it is great! Hopefully Samsung can fix this issue with a softwear update.

I found the watch to hold up to a lot of different work. As I can use this in my civilian work and military. I've used this during workouts and thought many time to myself that I might have scratched the screen or cracked it but I haven't. The screen holds up to more abuse than I thought it would. As I use to have a watch I could beat up, so I found myself putting this watch into environments I thought I damage it but didn't. Also this watch does great with golf apps and can keep you from burning your phone battery. The battery life will get you 2-3 days. I usually got 3 days out of it. Golf apps will burn through battery life though. Overall this watch can handle many different applications and will be a nice piece of tech anyone can wear.

This watch is amazing! It alerts me when I'm getting phone calls or texts, I can even respond back right on my watch. It is also very accurate at reading steps and heart rate, great for excercising, even in high intensity workouts.

Bought this for my boyfriends birthday, as this is what he asked for, so I got it for him. He's a huge tech guy and usually very hard to buy for. When he mentioned this item, i picked it right out. He loves it. It does exactly what it says it does and more, you definitely have to utilize every feature as there's a ton you can do. I would absolutely buy another in a heart beat. However, the silcon bands that are recommended are misleading. Bought the blue/black one to go with it for another style option, and it's the same band it comes with. Not sure what that's about, but it looks nothing like the picture and everything that the watch comes with. Just a heads up for anyone wanting to grab that color. You're better off getting the green.

Great watch nice features like the samsung pay on the watch

GPS is accurate, BPM is accurate. The Samsung heath app is A+. Solid built. I have the Bluetooth version and it works like a charm, forwards phone calls, email and text from my cell phone. I watch online video's on it as well. Very Thought out machine. Only one function lacking the S-voice, have to reset it occasionally. Buy one and enjoy.

There are many things I like about the Gear S3. Probably the most useful and intuitive feature is the rotating bezel. Using the bezel to move through selections is easier and faster than swiping. The selection of different watch faces, many of which are free, provides a variety that standard watches can't give. The smart features are easy to use and work great. While driving, I can answer a phone call through my watch by swiping and then talk with both hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. I can clearly hear the person on the other end and they can hear me. On the Fitness side the Wrist based HRM is as accurate as any of the others. The only downside to the fitness aspect is the limitations of the samsung health app itself. The autodetect feature works well but the selection of workout profiles available on the watch is not well thought out. for instance you can choose jumping jacks, lunges, crunches, or squats but not cardio workout. Also, the HRM isn't dynamic during all selections. During a bike ride my heart rate is monitored constantly but during a basic workout it is not. This is the primary reason for a 4 of 5 stars. Overall I am very happy with this watch.

Im not very tech savvy. After reading up on the device and it’s reviews. I spoke to the Bestbuy Samsung team at the Fountains of Farrah to get the facts straight. They made the purchase painfree. I liked the idea of being able to switch out bands, the amount of technology it has and the functions it can perform. My husband Loved his gift.
