Samsung Tab S is a great tablet provided there is a nearby power source. The battery will charge to 100% and then discharge after a day or two when not in use. It will then take 72+ hours to get a 100% back on the tablet

I have had this tablet for awhile now. I still love it, even though there have been numerous releases after this one. It's still easy to use, love the Android ui. I just wish it had the buttons in a more user friendly for vertical use spot rather than horizontal

Went from a laptop to a tablet and I love it. Does everything the laptop did in a smaller package. Can leave in the living room where it's handy to use without looking like a mess or taking up table space. Typing on screen is easy. Thought we would buy a keyboard but have decided we don't need one. Would recommend this item.

Very impressed with the many things this tablet can do. Also..the graphics & clarity is superb.

I own 3 Samsung tablets. The 8.9 galaxy tab, the galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition and the galaxy S tab 10.5. The S 10.5 is by far the best of all. So light and thin. The display surpasses the ipad. Love it!

The tablet was a very nice unit, and I loved the titanium color.

I purchased a refurbed Galaxy Tab S 32 GB about two weeks ago. I have fallen in love with it. It did not come in the manufacturer's packaging. It was in new condition with no dings or scratches so the packaging did not matter. I don't even know that it is a refurb. The value of price vs performance is achieved. I was looking for a small form factor - a laptop or a tablet. One of the most important decision factors was the resolution and quality of the display. If I bought a tablet it had to have a disk larger than 16 GB disk and an SD card slot as I am not a fan of putting everything on the cloud. I wanted USB 3.0 and HDMI capabilities. Wi-Fi had to have 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz capability. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 met all of my requirements except it only has USB 2.0. The screen quality is superb! The performance with 5 Ghz Wi-Fi is great and not bad at 2.4 Ghz. The processor speed is more than acceptable. Storage capacity meets my needs as I bought a discounted 64 GB micro SD card UHS-1 with the tablet plus the included 32 GB drive. The screen display is so good for reading that I no longer read the newspaper in hard copy. I'm a senior and my eyesight is not what it was. This is not a problem using the Tab S. The screen is bright, colorful, excellent contrast between black and white for reading. I have turned on Reading mode. Android Kit Kat is a great operating system. The system Settings app makes it easy to configure the Tablet and the OS. The options are explained on the settings page in the vast majority of the cases. Samsung's Touchwiz User Interface is wonderful to use. This is the touch interface for the tablet and includes the design of the home pages, app selection, etc. And I love the Predictive Text keyboard!! As you type it presents possible words to autocomplete. Predictive Text has a Personalization option that learns your writing style and gives priority to your commonly typed words. I find that I rarely need to type out full words. I type the first few characters and the word I need is listed. Touch and the word is in the text input field. The apps are excellent. I am using my Verizon e-mail and google mail accounts. It took seconds to set up both these accounts. The user interface is consistent with other apps and works well. There are included word processor, PDF viewer, and spreadsheet apps. I have used them primarily for viewing e-mail attachments and documents on web pages. The quality of the speakers is not bad for speakers this size. Sound is best when the tablet is held at eye level and straight on. It also helps to put the tablet on a hard surface table because the table reflects the sound. Bluetooth is supported so I will likely buy Bluetooth speakers in the future. There is a headphone jack. Reading newspapers, web pages, magazines is great. The photo gallery and video player work well and the controls are obvious. Two browsers (Chrome and "internet") are included. I downloaded Firefox because that is what I use on my other devices. Downloading and installing/unistalling apps is easy. Configuring the home pages and tools bar is easy. The file browser provides easy access to the internal drive and to the SD card. It is easy to move downloaded apps, photos, and other files from the internal drive to the SD card. This means that the internal drive will not fill up with rarely used apps. The cameras are adequate. If I need to take excellent quality photos, I will use my DSLR. For snaps and Skype, these are good enough. I just can't say enough about the beautiful quality of the display. Hi-res photos and videos look the best I have seen on any device. I have two Samsung Smart TVs (bought at Best Buy) and the Tab S easily outperforms them. What has not worked? Mirroring the tablet to my Smart TVs. My TVs are about two years old. Apparently Samsung does not update the software in the TVs for new technology. This has been a disappointment. Also, getting Samsung's version of DLNA to work consistently between my Windows 8.1 desktop and the tablet and TVs has also been disappointing. It has been a struggle to get it working between the TVs and the desktop and now with the Tab S. So I believe the problem is Samsung's DLNA software for Windows 8.1. I have a dedicated Wi-Fi router with 5Ghz capability and a separate router for wired gigabyte ethernet so the issue should not be network performance. One TV is connected to the wired ethernet router and the other TV and the tablet use the 5Ghz ethernet Wi-Fi. I am extremely happy with the the Tab S due to the quality of the hardware, Android OS, the available apps, etc. Beyond a doubt this has been the best tech I have purchased in years.

Item was purchased as refurbished, but did not work when received. It appeared that problem had not been corrected. I returned it to your store.

Tablet is a great product, no doubt in my mind, has terrific features, but it could have been a little cheaper.

Have been wanting a tablet but afraid to spend the money. I bought this refurbished and am so happy with it. I was worried about refurbished items but my children only buy refurbs so i took the plunge. I am very happy. No issues and i use it daily. I love the features but I expected it to be similar to my note phone. Well not completely the same. I wanted an android and i love that i have been able to figure it out as i go along. Picture is great. Charge lasts days. Could not be happier!!

quick, like it that you can open multiple pages without slowing it down; a little trouble with connecting to bluetooth but got that worked out

I bought this right before a trip. You receive it in a box with nothing else besides the packing slip. No details on returns or problems or anything. I waited until the day before I left for the trip to open it (about 3 days after it arrived) to charge it. I charged it for 24 hours and it was only at 50%. While on the trip, I would charge it for 12 hours just to get about a 40% charge. Long story short, by the time I returned, the return window had closed and the store would not help me at all with an online purchase. I called and was told that they would get back to me. No call ever. I had the geek squad look at it at the store and it was discovered that the charger was defective. I had to buy a new one b/c it was past the return date which is not included in the box. I also suspect that it damaged the unit because even with a new charger it takes about 12-15 hours for a full charge. Plus, it only lasts about 3 hours before it runs out. I have taken it back a couple of times to discuss, but the stores are not helpful. They told me to send it to the manufacturer for 4-6 weeks. The lesson is to open it immediately and if there is even a hint of a problem. RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Let me begin by saying i am not the one to complain! However I am super bummed on this purchase! I ordered this 32 gb tab s 10.5 refurbished and It just came in the mail, the first time I turned it on it gliched and kept restarting by itself, as I continued to check it out it kept shutting off. Then I noticed the finger scanner completely doesn't work and the battery is fried. It jumps from 55% to 2% within seconds then shuts off and when it goes back on it's back at 55%. I noticed if it's not plugged in it dies immediately and it will not charge past 56% for the battery life. I was happy about the price and that it said "GEEK SQUAD CERTIFIED" but clearly this was Not looked over at all like described otherwise they would have seen the massive problems I am encountering. ... I am super bummed. I do plan on returning it or possibly getting it replaced but I'm dreading the wait AGAIN...it took about a week for it to arrive now I have to wait another week (assuming they don't have them in the stores) I hope to get a working tablet with no problems from customer service. This is the 2nd glitching tablet I've received in this last month!!! The first was a NOTE 2014 10.1 (not refurbished.) It was supposed to be a 32GB but after taking it home I noticed the employee gave me the wrong one..a 16 Gb instead. I had opened it not realizing it was the wrong one but on top of that that NOTE also had problems crashing too!!! Idk what is going on with best buys service but this will be my 3rd AND last attempt buying another tablet. if something goes wrong with this next one I will go elsewhere.... maybe I'm just an unlucky person since everyone else's comments are fairly well but my advice is to check your tablet thoroughly!! I also ordered a laptop it hasn't arrived but I'm a little worried too see how it works :/
