I run 3 to 4 times a week and this fitness tracker is very useful keeping track of my heart rate,speed,calories used,etc.The pedometer is nice to motivate me to exercise more.

The key to appreciating the GearFit is adjusting one's expectations. It tells time well, syncs easily and is great at notifying when messages and calls arrive, and from whom. I have found it to be an excellent runner's companion, though it's a little hard to get the button just right at the end. I've had the watch randomly search for my phone, causing it to ring without need and it once randomly turned on my music player without being asked. But it's possible I did something without realizing it, because there's been no repeat. I had one day where the battery drained before 10 a.m., but again no repeat so may e I didn't charge it properly. There's probably a LOT more available than the basic functions i'm using, and S Health is, frankly, a pain. You CAN wear it in the shower, but I don't recommend it. Overall, not worth nearly $150 but it's easily with half that, which it's what I paid.

This is a good device to receive notifications about emails, message etc. Not a complete smart watch but better than basic fitness trackers. Nice device.

Works well with fitness tracking. Wish it had more features but for what i use it, its good.

It is fun and all of the functions such as heart rate work great. If you are looking for something better than fit bit for a similar cost this is it.

I've had the Gear Fit for over a month and it meets my expectations. I like that it notifies me when I have a call or text. No more missed calls when my phone is in my purse. The fitness tracking is a little iffy. It will in most cases track your activity but it's very limited as to the type of activity it tracks and not the most reliable. The sleep function will monitor the time you say you're sleep. Manual on and off. I'm not super active so this meets my needs, really the call and text notifications are my major likes for the device. I charge it once or twice a week, pretty good battery life. Overall, I would recommend and buy again.

I bought the Geek Squad refurbished Gear Fit. It came in a best buy box with no documentation of any kind. The item was in very good shape and there is plenty of information online to get you going. Overall, I am very pleased with this item and I most likely would not have bought it if it were a full-priced item. The referb worked very well for me.

The Samsung Gear Fit is a truly nice item. It sets up very easily and has a lot of functionality. The only drawback is it doesn't sync to all smartphones. Minor problem.

I've owned two Fitbits (neither lasted 12 months). After 2nd one died, decided I wanted a tracker with more options. After reading reviews decided to give GearFit a try. Considering the price I felt I couldn't go wrong with purchasing a Geek Squad Refurbished model. Very pleased with purchased. In fact, purchased a second one for my husband. He loves his too. Lastly, we both use Samsung phones. Easy to connect to phone.

This watch is amazing. The best part is the ability to see your calls or texts and make limited replies. It pairs well with my android phone and has done a pretty good job of counting steps and allowing input of other exercises. It even has a stop watch. The battery lasts a day and a half to two days with continuous use before it needs to be charged. Great buy. The watch was exactly what I wanted for the price.

Decided to purchase this for my 14yo son. Purchased as a refurb, this watch has been great. Half the price but 100% of the functionality. Not only does it tell time, but it syncs with his Samsung phone so he doesn't miss a call or text. He hasn't used it for fitness yet as he's between seasons. But I'm sure he'll have a lot of fun with that feature as well. Great investment.

I bought this for my girlfriend. She was wanting to monitor her steps and workouts. This does exactly that and a little more. She loves it and for the price was just what she needed but it's definitely not as advanced as my gear s2. The only thing she's mentioned that annoys her is that she can't respond to texts with it, only read them.

Needed help syncing with phone. Samsung rep. at local BestBuy was a big help. This was a refurb item that came with no instructions. Instructions on Samsung website were not correct. The app that is required is NOT in the app store....had to use a different process that is not documented anywhere.

Love this smart watch! Great features and graphics! Can check my heart rate and pedometer meter. Also missed call, SMS texts and email notifications. Sleep timer is a great way to track your sleeping habits. Just hate the fact that it only syncs to Samsung products only.

Sleek and stylish, this is also a top notch fitness meter, keeping track of pulse as well as steps and distance covered. Equally as useful are the alerts that let you know at a glance if it's a call you need to answer right away or one you can let go to messages.

I have been enjoying this product, but after a little more than a month of buying this geek squad certified refurbished device, I am having problems charging the device...not sure what's the problem. Not sure If I would recommend buying refurbished....definitely buy new.

My wife has a fitbit and I had a Nike sportwatch and the Samsung is so much better. I got the Nike for Christmas and was not happy with it so I returned it for the Gear Fit. It syncs to Galaxy S4 phone and is so easy to set up. You can track steps, exercise, check heart rate, sleep and it has a timer and stop watch. The smart functions allow you to view emails and text, see caller ID, control media functions and locate your device. The app on your phone or tablet shows goals, exercise and diet tracking. Great product easy to use small and con for table to wear well worth the money. I would not trade mine for any other product.

Has the features that I need: pedometer, heart rate monitor, timer, stopwatch, email/text notification, and I especially like the "Find My Device" app since I always misplace my phone. Oh, and it also tells time ;-) I also like that it looks more like a bracelet and the face is not thick like a watch.
