Device is just as advertised, works with samsung phone flawlessly. However, a week after we got it we swapped carriers and got LG phones. You can get it to work with non samsung phones, but you loose a LOT of functionality.

I used one on loan from a friend and works great. So, I decide to buy one to my but unfortunetly I couldn't connect it to the phone. Diagnose: compatibility issue.

This is the first refurbished product I have purchased from Best Buy and it is absolutely in pristine brand new condition. Works perfectly and I will definitely buy more I wish I could find it for the $49.95 price again!

The Samsung Fit has worked great so far I purchased it about a month ago. I do wish the battery was a little better but it works as advertised and I am very satisfied to date.

Overall, it's a great workout watch. Love the features, but I just wish it had a longer battery life. Overall, it's a great watch to wear. Light weight, easy bluetooth connection, bright and viewable screen.

As with all new technology, it does not live up to the hype. But does perform as advertised. This is actually the second one I purchased for my wife, the first was stolen. So, it's obviously wanted by people and worth the price since I bought it twice.

I purchased this item for my wife. She don't like electronics but fell in love with this item. Very easy to use.

Easy to use. Large display, easy to adjust settings. It's great being able to track steps, use it as a timer, and makes a great sturdy watch.

This purchase was definitely a case of do not judge a book by its cover or by the reviews. The Gear fit is actually my 3rd Samsung watch and upon reading the reviews I had decided it would not be added to my collection, however I was able to get a deal on 2 of them that I could not pass up. One for me, one for my daughter and we both Love them. They are more for casual wear in comparison to the Samsung Gear. It is indeed water proof as far as showering. I originally kept mine on for a week and had no issues...with of course the exception of the sleep monitor. The watch of course is not very comfortable to sleep in and the fact that you have to remember to hit the sleep option then turn it back off once you awake is probably the only con to this purchase. Many complained about the shape and it being hard to read messages however I did not experience that issue, especially since you can change the direction of the screen. Biggest plus is the emergency feature that allows you to press the power button 3 times and send a msg to up to three people you choose alerting them of your location and there is a problem. Definitely would purchase this again.

Did not have an independent alarm. I needed to have my phone on and connected for alarm to work. I have a gear 2 and the alarm works when the phone is off. Great watch but didnt have the right alarm feature for me.

I bought this refurbished for $49.99 for my daughter. I wasn't sure if she would really use it. To my surprise she wears it everyday. It seems to work great and she loves it. She is 10.

Not expecting the notifications I was pleasantly suprised at the functions available on this device. It works well with my phone and I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Not great for working out but great to see notifications while working out.

Be sure to read the "short list" of Samsung devices that are comparable with the Gear Fit! We didn't and return it for a Fit Bit. The Fit Bit app works with our Samsung tablet and ISO device operating systems.

I'm a Samsung product owner and adding this to my collection was another great buy. I'm in my early 50's and it's functions and display are clear and concise. Go android!

For the price I had gotten it for its good for now till I get something better heart rate sensor gives a average bpm and does have features wasn't expecting but it's nothing compared to newer ones though

This device is awesome to begin with. First i have reviewed tons of workout devices that are supposed to track all of the great routines that most people want to keep track. It does a great job with heart beats with out extra gear.clear readings that are visable. Many other devises do not look read able fashionable etc....I do not know if other devices track sleep without you advising it so. Over all its great to have and you can truely see all displays. In addtion it delivers emails prompt

Thus far, it has met my expectations. Not exceeded yet. The compatability to my phone relieves the abuse of the phones battery.

The larger display makes viewing easy. I love it being connected to my phone so I can view calls and notifications during meetings. I wish there was a microphone to reply and answer calls.

Its a little bulky compared to a regular watch but it keeps track of your activity. It's the best device to have around your wrist for the price.
