I bought this to be a health monitor as well as a companion device for my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. I wanted to listen to music while I run and respond to texts. I loved the screen and the weight of the device. The Tizen software is great and polished. While the features on it worked well, it wasn't quite what I wanted. You can only respond to texts using pre-canned responses. There isn't a speaker so there is no sound for music or notifications without pairing headphones. I ended up returning this and getting the Gear S2 because it had a couple of features I wanted. If I could combine the Fit 2 with the Gear S2 it would be the perfect wearable device.

It was light on packaging but I had no problem setting up the Gear Fit 2 and haven't run into any hiccups with it. It's kind of annoying that you can't text back to someone like the Apple Watch but for $80 I can't complain too much. The step counter is a little generous so set your goal higher than your Garmin and Fit bit

having experieced different products, in my opinion it ranks about one of the best in the mid-priced sport trackers

I want sure what to expect. So far this is what i have noticed. Does not count steps when holding items. It is quick with Auto workout. Still testing how auto heart rate works. I like the messages, music, background changes and customizations. Good watch to start with and learn. Battery last about 2 days.

you wouldnt be able to tell this is refurbished. it works like new and it was packaged well

My wife got the fit bit blaze and I got the gear fit.wife wishes she got the gear fit.

Its a nice little step counter, time piece and alarm.. can customize with apps.. uou can sync with pther users and keep count or compete.. set goals i love this lil guy.. battery life is good i can ho about three days on a charge..

The gearfit 2 is a vast improvement over the previous model. The charger is also a great improvement. Although they changed the wristband it still has a tendency to get snagged on items and fall off and that is why I didn't give it 5 stars

This watch is amazing, it works nice, you can get custom apps, which I use the alarm one so I can get alerts on when I need to do something. This did not come with any scratches, though I would recommend to get a screen protector. I have slept with it multiple times, and it is very comfortable. I would not recommend to sleep with it though, because it takes a while to charge. (less that 2 hours) The screen is curved, which is beautiful. I am wearing this watch as I'm typing ;)

I have had the Gear Fit 2 for a month and it has not disappointed. I have it synced with my Samsung S7 and love it. The call and email notifications are a plus and I would give it 5 stsrs but the stairs tracking is not very accurate.

Does not have many features no real use for me personally.

Overall a great fitness tracker, would not call it a smart watch. Battery life can be better, getting maybe a day if not using it a lot. Not too many free watch faces are available online, some eat up the battery fast.

Very accurate HR monitoring as compared to my Polar FT4 (with chest strap). It logs your sleep and provides a little alarm to let you know when you're being lazy! Thanks Samsung!

Brought it for my wife 1) Packing was really good and huge, i was surprised to see it came in a big package where a set of boot can fit into... 2) Inside that there was a small box with the watch and the charger, thats all. Nothing else like warranty or manual / guide etc.... 3) my wife loved the color and the watch... it just served the purpose. She have iphone 6 and it got connected very easily, just need to install the Gear app and switch on the Bluetooth, hassle free setup.

Beautiful design, great idea, now, 46 days after I bought it refurbished at BestBuy.com it's dead as a nail. It did everything as expected, I figured how to make the battery last a full day. Kept it clean and dry. All this to no avail. Still, at 65 percent charge it died on a Sunday afternoon and has not come back. Called BestBuy tech support, over 30 days . . . sorry. Called Samsung tech support . . . no visible serial number on back of watch . . . sorry. I took it to the store and they confirmed that no serial number is on any Gear Fit2's body. Only if you manage to turn it on and go to Settings, About. So my advice to anyone still wanting to buy it is to make sure you add extended warranty and WRITE DOWN the SERIAL number. That is probably the most important piece. Without it you're out of luck. Good Luck!

This was a Certified Refurb. Geek approved item. It felt and looked brand new when i received it. I returned the watch because a day after I received it, the Fitbit Ionic was announced. I had the Blaze and it was my favorite of all the trackers. The GearFit2 was my second favorite because of the ability to use it in the pool for hydro-running. The Samsung software is seamless and never a glitch to connect. Fitbit will required 2 syncs 30% of the time for me. Because of the efficiency of the GearFit2, I'm trying out the GearS3. It's on the heavy side and may prove to be TOO ANNOYING for the various workouts I do. We'll see. But the GearFit2 is a great deal for the Refurb. at $95.

This refurbished model has been great. No defects or issues (owned for a little over 2 months) and obviously a great price. I got the device after finding that my workouts (cycling primarily) had overblown calorie counts from only tracking GPS via apps on my phone. Utilizing the Gear Fit 2's excellent heart rate monitor has given me much more reliable calorie counts to help me better meet my weight loss goals.

With exception of the battery life this tracker is really good. The customizable watch faces and the durability of the band are great pluses. It also works well with my food tracking app.

It works great. I love the built in gps for running and getting notifications on my wrist.
