Decent sound and love the mobility and no cords, but battery life isn't very good and once I had them plugged into the computer for about 3 days then went to use them and the right one dropped to 10% which was odd. but they are nice and the ambient sound is a cool feature so you can continue to hear what's going on around you.

I got these refurbished for only $55 and they still weren't worth keeping. I don't know how anyone would want to spend $300. The sound was good. They fit fine and I didn't have to worry about them falling out of my ears. The 4 gigs of space to put my music on was great, but for some reason the audio book I downloaded to them didn't play, even though it was the same format as the music. The battery life is a joke (maybe 2 hours) and the case is cool except that closing it charges your headphones whether you want it to or not, thus draining the charge of the portable case. There's no off button to let you know 100% they are off and not just sitting there, dying, so you can't use them when you need them. They were sold as Bluetooth headphones, but would not connect to my iPod or iPod Touch. They did connect to my Samsung phone, but I don't run with that.
What an overpriced, poorly designed piece of garbage. No wonder there were so many refurbished for only $55.

First the battery life is terrible i couldn't get 1 hour of use out of them. And that's when i was able to connect it to my phone. I only used it a few times because of the battery life and when i did attempt to use it, it was a constant battle to link it to my phone. And once linked it would turn off on it's own after 5 seconds.

The Samsung IconX are a good pair of Bluetooth ear buds.
Pros: Solid connect up to 15ft. Size doesnt interfere with workout. Stays firmly in ear during workouts.
Cons: battery needs to be recharged every other day, even if not used. Electronic background passthrough doesnt pickup voices well.

Samsung almost nailed it here. Headphones are great, but battery life is terrible and the charging case can be finicky at times.
They fit in my ears perfectly.
Worth the 60 bucks I spent, but until they get the battery life fixed on these and upgrade the charging case - apply will win. Which is sad.

Great pair of headphones. I got them refurbished from BB for a great price. The biggest cons are very short battery life and no full support for iPhone. They only work as glorified Bluetooth headphones on iPhone. You will need an Android device for the fitness monitoring. For me not having an MP3 player while I am working is a big plus. The built-in MP3 player is one of the main reasons I got these.
For the most part they work as advertised. The problem is there is no way to turn them off. The batteries are supposed to last an hour or so in the MP3 player mode. However, if you use them for say 30 mins. today and want to get another 30 mins. the next day, no dice. The battery will be dead since they do not turn off. Next the touch pad is ultra sensitive or not sensitive enough. That part is a bit annoying. I guess some of the issues can be fixed by a firmware upgrade. Hope Samsung will do that sooner than later.

These earbuds are good, the sound quality is good, though could be better/louder. The battery life is pretty good, but if you let them sit for a few days, they seem to lose their charge quite quickly.
Controls are great and the heartrate sensor works well too.

These earbuds are useful for excersise and running. Battery life is shorter when streaming over blutooth on phone. Wouldn't recommend if you want to watch movies on phone or tablet. You have constantly charge them in the case, which is a potential inconvenience.

Fits great in the ear with the right combination of fins and ear cups which is a plus. However the battery life could be better but with the size of the buds is understandable, definitely need the charger/carrying case.

The sound is top notch when working out at the gym and stays securely in my ears. One thing that I enjoy is the ability to turn off ambient noise while running outside. By turning that specific feature off, I'm able to hear what is going on around me. Overall I love the design and the performance is top notch. Other reviews have indicated poor battery life, they have yet to die on me and I'm working out for an hour and a half so this works well for me. I guess you wouldn't want to use these for anything more than a 15k. Overall impressed and satisfied with the price, you can't go wrong.

i brought this device only for 3 reasons
1- its on sale for 54$, 2- it has built in 4gb memory for songs and 3-
doesn't have any wires hanging.
music sounds flat and no where near to the details i can get from Bose or any other branded headphones. my iphone wired headphones sounded far better than these. if i have to review this device based on sound alone then i would give this device 1 star and don't buy these, save money and buy bose qc 30. if paying full price bose sport+heart rate have better sound quality and better connectivity, battery life and communication with apple devices than these, with the exception of 4gb space. And I don't think lack of built in hard drive a big issue in this smart phone age.
i use them with my iphone and i will review this from an iphone user perspective.
i have two ways to use this device stream music from any of supporting devices and use it as a regular Bluetooth headset, or use it as a stand alone music player.
Bluetooth Head set: call sound quality is OK both sides can hear clearly and loudly. i cant change my default ear piece from left to right. i may need Samsung or android device to change preferences i guess. touch sensors of the device work most of the time. and for its size i got decent battery life. it doesn't support headset battery display on my phone and activity tracker is useless without Samsung galaxy.
Music player: is easy to use when connected to you PC, you can open devices hard drive and dump music (it supports limited music formats and mp3 is one) and also remembers you last position of the song event when you charge your device. i cant choose a song based on display(you need an app for that and Samsung doesn't have one for ios) i can only skip one song at a time back or front. I can work with issue by better organizing my music or re sync my music when ever i need to reset my music order.

For a very long time I have been anticipating the purchase of this product but was waiting for a price drop eventually I got an opportunity to purchase the product recertified and took that opportunity but was extremely disappointed at the battery life which lasted less than an hour. I'm not sure if it was due to the fact that the product was refurbished or not. On positive side the fit was extremely comfortable.

The Samsung IconX headphones strengths:
Simple and efficient commands on device, light, great fit in ear, memory makes them stand alone - great integration with Samsung Phone..
The problem? The charge lasts about 1.5 hours.... this means you have to charge them at least once a day / this made me return the item, it is very inconvenient...perhaps an On Off button would help..
