This computer is alright, it is an ultrabook, but it is overweight. It is heavy but I think I got my moneys worth for 500 bucks. I added 4 more gigs or ram but it is faster on streaming videos, hardly freezes of buffers.

I love this computer. I am a high school senior and I wanted to get a laptop before going to college and this samsung is perfect! It's a great size and is so easy to use!

I expected great things from Samsung; they have never let me down before and always seemed at the forefront of user experience and innovation. Within a week of purchase, I had to ship this unit back to their Support facility (at my expense, so in addition to the cost of the unit, I was out an additional $65). The only aspect of this machine that I am intimately familiar with is the Help & Support feature. In my 2.5 months of ownership, there hasn't been a week yet where my wife hasn't met me coming through the door with "the laptop won't...". I am beyond frustrated with this item and wish I had never laid eyes on it. It seems as though I could have completed a graduate degree with the time I've invested in trying to get this to work at all. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Tried to download Win8.1 but gat a message that there wasn't enough space on the hard drive. Found out that the other applications I had loaded onto the drive had gone to the small SSD not the 500Gb reg drive. Had to take it Geek Squad and by a year service contract so they could transfer my personal apps to the other drive since I couldn't figure out how to that myself.

This product was refurbished, though not effectively. It malfunctioned from the first power-up and could not be corrected

I've found this to be a great laptop for the price. The one screw removable cover on the bottom to access the RAM and hard drive make for easy upgrades. Add an 8GB SO-DIMM for 12GB of RAM (Yes it works) and an SSD and you have a very powerful speedy Ultrabook with touch that competes with $1200-$1500 models.

I got this for my daughter for college. I upgraded the ram to 12gb for $60 from the crucial website. It is amazingly fast, touch screen works well and it is the perfect size. It is difficult getting use to windows 8, but that will be the norm from here on out when it comes to touchscreen windows laptops. Also, it would be nice to have a backlit keyboard. Besides that, for the price, this is a great looking and a great functioning product.

I have owned this computer for just over a year. In that short time, it has been sent in for repairs twice. I have replaced the power button, motherboard, hard drive, dc cable, palmrest and AC adapter. Now I have the dreaded blue screen. Samsung will not stand behind its product, even though it is less than a week out of warranty and has been repaired twice. I will not be purchasing another Samsung product.

I liked the laptop design, but even did not try it at all because it arrived damaged. The screen was bent due to large visible damages. The damages were not during shipping. Geek Squad simply did not do their job. Very disappointed with their quality control.
