I ordered two of these drives. The first arrived in the original box with two cables. The drive looked to be physically in excellent condition. When I plugged it in, it was not immediately set up in my Windows 11 computer. I went into Disk Management and found it had not been initialized. I initialized it and formatted it to NTFS. The computer then saw it and I was able to run speed tests. The results were slow. I tried the other cable and also got slow speeds, but different from the first cable. I then tried a cable of my own, and finally obtained the expected speed of 1000 MB/s. I then used the free software Samsung Magician on the drive. It showed the firmware of the drive was old, and allowed me to update to the most current firmware. I then used Samsung Magician to run a full diagnostic scan of the drive. It took 3 hours, but reported that zero sectors were bad. I have good confidence in this drive, and would have given this product five stars but for my experience with the second drive.
The second drive arrived a couple days later, from a different location in the US. It was not in the original box, but was nicely packaged. Like the first, it looked to be in excellent physical condition. It also came with two cables. I tried each of them on the previous drive, and only one gave the expected results. So of the four cables I received, only one worked properly. Like the first drive, this drive needed to be initialized. I did so, but could not format it. I spent several days and finally cleared the drive, initialized it, and then did a quick format. I then used Samsung Magician to do a full diagnostic scan of the drive. The first time it ran for 15 hours and crashed after having only 60% of the drive - I suspect it overheated. At that point it showed that 4% of the sectors were bad. I restarted the scan the next day. It completed and showed that 7% of the sectors had been bad. I believe that the bad sectors would now be avoided by the system after having been identified. I ran speed tests, and got the expected results. However, after this experience I will no longer purchase Certified Refurbished portable SSDs and am unable to recommend them to any one.

I bought this SD memory card for my Tesla Model Y Dashcam over a year ago(May2024). Honestly it was a grear purchase and was worth it. I have never had any issues with it. It records everything without me having to worry about space. Ill delete some videos here and there but never ever have i had to worry about memory. Works fast and it sets up easily with my Tesla.

No issue bought refurbished, went to disk management in win 10 and assigned a drive letter formatted and a minute later copied a folder with 14g over in like 20 sec. same size as a credit card and a thick at 5-6 stacked up

It is surprisingly small, but still very powerful. For setup, you have to do some formatting, but watching a how-to video helps. I got this because I needed more storage for programs on a laptop.

Drive had 23 hours on it and 1.3 TB of writes and was not formatted.
Formated in windows no issues. Not sure how its encryption works though. Maybe it had some software on it at one time.
I did not have a PC with USB C data port but tested it on a USB 3.0 (not 3.1) port and got
270 MB/sec writes (From computer SSD to this USB)
400MB/sec Reads (copying from this SSD to a computer with SSD
Fast enough for me, I would do better with a usb C to C cable on a computer (Like a MAC, or win10 PC with the port)

Refurb and it was barely used. Geek Squad may have used this to fix and clean in store PCs then listed as a refurb once they didn’t need it anymore. Or someone returned it right after buying.
Try it out, look up the logs and more than likely you’ll be surprised to find this gem.
Does load and work with any game I’ve tried so far at a fast speed.

I was skeptical about buying a refurbished item, especially a hard drive, but the discount was tempting. So I pulled the trigger and bought this thing.
The packaging was a little messed up, and you could easily tell that this wasn't brand new. However, when I opened the box, the Hard drive was in very good condition. No visible Scratches or exterior damage.
It came with two cables: A USB-C to USB-C cable, and a USB-C to USB-A cable. I'm not sure if they're the OEM cables, but I tested them both and they worked just fine.
The hard drive itself was just as advertised. It plugged into my mac and my windows PC after I partitioned the drive, and worked flawlessly for data transfer. So far I haven't had any issues with it. Would buy again.

I bought this SSD for extra storage on my Xbox. This drive is incredibly fast, I’m able to transfer a 110gb game in about 6 minutes. It came in the original box and literally looked brand new.

Works perfectly fine. May have a few scratches but those will come with time anyway. I purchased it to expand my storage on the series x for $74 and it hasn't let me down so far.

This refurb is indistinguishable from brand-new. It has been fast, reliable, and sturdy. An immediate improvement over USB thumb drives, which for me have behaved erratically (slow to move/copy files, slow to be recognized by computers, unreliable storage).

These T7 drives are great value - better when refurbished and on sale! The first unit heated up and froze on first use. I lost 100GB of original files. The replacement (thank you) has been working well. I have a previous T7 that has been working great for over 2 years. Fast read write on MacBook Air M1.
