The sound bar does pack a punch and listening to Dolby atmos sounds great!! Only complaint is I had this system for 2 years and the subwoofer is not wanting to connect with the main sound bar. We tried everything and followed all the suggestions to try to get the subwoofer to connect and nothing is working

Sounds great and no problem streaming Netflix, etc. but when I watch Spectrum cable the lips and voices are out of sync. It is very annoying, almost disorienting. Called Samsung but their suggestions adjusting the audio delay did not help. I will have to return it if I can’t resolve the problem. I would recommend this to someone if they only stream and don’t watch cable tv. But for the lip sync problem, I would recommend it.

Dolby Digital content may be the cause for your audio delay as this is a known issue affecting all brands.
Please check that your Q80R TV firmware is updated to Version 1335.0 or higher.

After 6 months started having connection issues, we would have to pause our movie and turn the soundbar off and back on then all was well. Yes I started with a high quality HDMI cable and tried a new on. Then, after moving the sub-woofer sounded very muddy when cutting in at low levels, thought it was damaged during the move so purchased a replacement for $500, half of which was shipping but the new one had the same low level muddy sound. Now in June 2022 the unit is essentially dead, none of the HDMI channels work. Other than that, it sounds great when it works but not worth $1300 if you have to replace it every two and half years! If you choose to buy one of these make sure you get the extended warranty.
