When Samsung and Best Buy reduces the price and put it on sale, made this affordable. Sound is great and fills the room

I wasn’t sure this was worth the money. But I was purchasing a Samsung tv and when the sales rep explained how the smart technology worked with this sound bar and the tv I made the purchase. I am so glad I listed to the rep. It is awesome. I can only watch a movie on volume level 27 and I’m not even sure how loud it can get. I am really happy with the quality and clarity of the sound. Totally worth the price.

I was a little skeptical at first because of the price but I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality from this unit. The sound bar has 13 speakers that fire from all directions and the sub gives off some good deep bass for both music via bluetooth and and movies. Connecting the unit took 5 min once out of the box and plugged in. The wireless sub gives you the ability to find the sweet spot in the room. My reccomendation is place it in the rear so that the sound isn't so front heavy.

Not much to setup. Once the HDMI cable is connected to the sound bar and the TV, rest of it is automatic. Great sound.

If your entertainment space isn't ideal for true 5.1 or 7.1 setup, this soundbar is highly recommended to give you that "surround" experience with its adaptive sound and virtual settings! If you have a Samsung QLED, it's a must-have. The bass and sound quality is ridiculously awesome for just a soundbar. The sound is ground-shaking only at volume level 15!

I am an audiophile who always owned a 5.1 or 7.1 setup for movies and sports. This is the first sound bar I have ever purchased, I use it in my basement with a Sony XBR900H. I did a lot or research and went with this model because it is certified for Dolby Atmos. I have to say I am extremely happy with this sound bar, the quality is amazing. It has a wide sound stage, very clean and powerful and the bass is incredible.

Setting up this soundbar to work with my Samsung Q90R TV was quick and easy. I tried both HDMI and optical cables. I went with the optical since the sound quality was just a little better. As far as performance....the sound is incredible with Dolby Atmos and 5.1.2 Channel Sound! The wireless subwoofer rocks the house. The HW-Q80R soundbar provides very clear sound at low volumes as well. I highly recommend.

The sound quality is excellent, it has a very good stage and the ATMOS experience is incredible. It surpassed my expectations, since I didn't think that a soundbar could achieve these kinds of effects. For a 10 x 15 foot room it is more than enough. The problem I have had is that on many occasions it does not recognize the devices that it has connected such as a 4k LG DVD player and an Amazon fire Cube, so you have to disconnect it and turn it on again.

I replaced a Sony 5.1 receiver with this unit. At first I was disappointed. After researching, I purchased the wireless rear speakers (the 900’s). The rear speakers were an open box and about 1/2 price. That made the difference in sound. The rear speakers connect to the bar without needing the dongle that is included. That is only with the Q80 and Q90 sound bar. The Q90 sound bar comes with the rear speakers and might be a better buy if it is on sale.

I bought this soundbar to accompany my brand new Samsung 75” 8K Smart TV and I’m glad I did. Easy to set up this sound system “Rocks the house”. Best Buy has been great as well, giving me a post delivery military discount without even asking for one! Once I got the right phone number to contact Tech support they have been very helpful with all my questions. Don’t wait on hold, opt for the auto call back.

This soundbar is AMAZING it puts out quality sound and is worth every penny. I was skeptical of sound bars and if they were worth it or not. But when we paired this sound bar with our TV and a 4K HDMI all I can say is HOLY CRAP! It is so worth splurging on getting a quality sound bar with your new TV. Wives go ahead and let your husbands do it. Husbands convince your wives to do get it. You will not regret this purchase.

I’m upgrading from an older Pioneer optical cable soundbar which had a down firing subwoofer. This one has a side firing woofer. I love the bass. Dolby Atmos is awesome. It upmixes non-Atmos material. The system is loud and proud. Now I’m considering adding wireless rear Speakers. I paired my iPhone to the bar, sounds pretty good. I got this on sale, am very happy with my purchase.

This is great Soundbar from Samsung. Harmon Kardon has been around for a long time and produces great sound! I would, however, like a option for music. It has great sound choices for TV, but lacks the feature for music. Music still sounds amazing but that was one thing to note when doing my research. Easy to hookup and use. Great system for those wanting sound performance with SMART TV.

We purchased my husband's dream TV (75"), sound bar, dvd/vcr player and universal remote. The Geeks set it all up for us hid all of the wires and taught us how to use it. We are in our 60's and struggle with new technology. That's why we make our purchases at Best Buy. BB has all of the support to go with it. Our TV and accessories are working perfectly. Some time upgrades make everything more simple.
