The sound is decent and can get loud. There times when it cuts out or sounds super quiet for some reason. It also doesnt always match the sound with the lips on the tv like it's off just a little bit. Other than those 2 things it is great!

WE have an older Bose surround sound and athough it has good sound, this sound bar is not only compatible and we think it might even exceed the Bose sound. Sound bars sure have improved.

There is always a compromise when it comes to going with a soundbar. This thing is one of the best I've ever heard coming from that point of view.

I highly recommend this Samsung - Harman Kardon 5.1.2 channel sound bar system with 8" Subwoofer. I really enjoy watching TV and hearing all the sounds. Go out and buy one as soon as you can.

i just set up this sound bar and watched a 4k movie on my xbox one x and i cant believe the quality of this device!!! pertect 4k uhd picture quality and amazing sound to go with it...

Great sound and bass production you can't beat the theater sound this thing produces. It's very glitchy with my LG tv at times having troubles syncing sound to the mouths moving and changing sources.

I started with Samsung’s cheapest and moved up to the 850T and then finally this Q80. The Q80 blows the 850 out of the water for just a little more on the price. Well worth it.

This system really ups Samsung's game. This system pairs perfectly with the Samsung TV. Rich, full bass and crystal clear dialogue from the front speakers make movies more enjoyable!

This product turned out to be great! It seemed a bit pricey, but was so worth it! The sound bar combined with the subwoofer (included) makes your home sound like a movie theater!

We started out with a Visio then to LG AI.The Samsung blows them both away. There has been no distortion from the soundbar or sub at all even when at max bass and at 50+ volume. Nothing but crisp clear sound and bass. I love that you don’t have to struggle to hear the voices even when the background noises are present. I find myself picking up on sounds that I didn’t realize were in the movies I was watching. I have also used this with ps4 and it’s great for shooting games and games where it pays to hear what’s going on around you. I would definitely recommend especially if you want to add a high end Soundbar to your home theatre setup

Great looking and better sounding piece of equipment. Geek squad did an excellent job mounting it below the new TV for maximum sound quality.

Didn’t know what to expect. This sound bar replaces a 7.1 system. Floor standing mains, 12 inch sub, expensive receiver etc.. The sound bar doesn’t replicate the sound, it cannot, but it does a very fine job. The base is good, the quality of sound is fine, both with movies and music. Most of all it’s SO easy. Turn the tv on with its remote and the sound bar goes to work. I’ve listened to many sound bars, read and watched many, many reviews, and believe me this one is at or near the top. I like it, I like it a lot.

I got this over a month ago, and I’m very happy with it. I have a Samsung TV and everything is in an open concept home with no walls in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. This works great for that kind of setup. It may lose some luster in bigger spaces, but it has a rich sound here. My only complaint (and loss of a star) is the same thing others have mentioned. Sometimes it doesn’t wake up when I turn on the TV and my Samsung TV uses the TV speakers instead of the speakers (hooked up via HDMI arc). It seems to do it less often lately and has recently only bothered me when I pause the TV too long and the speakers go to sleep and don’t wake back up. Otherwise, I’m happy with these and get over the occasional confusion when the speakers become non-responsive.

Great Soundbar. Performs beyond my expectations. Syncs easily with my QLED TV and an amazing experience when on Game Mode with my Xbox One X. Samsung makes great products.

This soundbar system is extremely easy to set up and sounds crystal clear! The subwoofer has plenty of bass and there is no need for extra speakers throughout your room!

this is worth ever dollar. I love this sound bar and it sounds very good. Looks great and the sub is amazing. If you don't like your neighbors just turn it up.

My wife and purchased what we thought was a top shelf TV (Samsung q series) and the matching Samsung q80 sound bar. The sound bar does have good sound quality but the reason I only gave it three stars is because of the lack of auto sound leveling. We specifically told the salesman that the sound bar MUST have auto leveling, which he said it did. After the first few obnoxious Balise car commercials we discovered this to be untrue. The tv does have the sound leveling feature, but not the sound bar, and it doesn't transfer.

I'm going to try to keep this short. I had a 5 speaker setup that I had for over 10 years that sound great. My receiver finally died, so I was originally looking for another receiver. In my sound test this unit gave the best sound for the price in a complete package. It's only short comings is the fact there's no rear speakers for a true surround sound experience. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would strongly recommend for a simple setup that produces great sound.

Could not expect better sound from a sound bar. Do want more of a surround sound atmosphere so going to purchase the rear speakers to add that missing aspect.

My first sound bar and having used surround sound speakers in the past, I was still very impressed.
