Bass and back speakers not that loud compared to rest of system

It has a pretty good sub and the surround sound is good. For the price it is a great deal. Would definitely buy this again.

I also got the stands for the back speakers and that help so you hear the sound right at your ear level.

Samsung & Harman Kardon premium sound this soundbar is heavy duty in comparison to lower end Samsung soundbars

The sound bar is amazing makes huge noise at even lower volumes, great for watching both television and movies.

This is the first soundbar I've ever owned. I've had several different AV receivers over the years and had been running a traditional 5.1 wired system capable of Dolby Digital and DTS playback. Does the Samsung sound better than that? It might. It just might. It's a different sound and to my ears not quite as wide or as warm, but I'm still putting it through its paces. Know what I really like? How it handles music. I know Dolby Atmos is the marquee feature here, but throw some FLAC files at this puppy through Plex or another app and you have a really enjoyable listening experience. I like being able to easily dial in the volume of the subwoofer via the remote. Glad they included that. Aside from that, yep - it passes 4k HDR & Dolby Vision right on through without any difficulty that I've experienced. I'm running an Apple TV 4k and a regular Blu-Ray player through the soundbar to a TCL P series tv. The TV goes to the soundbar input with ARC. Every surround option I've tested sounds good and I should mention that this machine can get crazy loud. No problems filling a room. Is Dolby Atmos a revelatory experience? I'm not real sure. I've watched parts of Gravity, Wonder Woman, and all of the Trainspotting sequel. Again, it sounds fine. But do I feel like I'm suddenly inside the movie and am being tricked into thinking things are flying over my head? Nope. Not yet, at least. Maybe I just haven't tested the right movie (and, yes, I'm positive I'm hearing the Dolby Atmos track - confirmed via the soundbar and Apple TV display menus). So I'm a little torn about the value of this at this price point. Make no mistake, being able to hook up this entire set up in 5 minutes is a convenience that has REAL value. You'll need outlets to plug in those surround speakers and subwoofer, but not having to run speaker wire is exactly the way things should be in 2018. I love the look of these speakers. I like the little display (which is indeed on the front and NOT the top - saw another review that suggested it was the opposite. Not the case.) I like that it works with Alexa (at least sorta, I can't get my Echo to control volume but it will connect easily enough). I love how it sounds with music and generally like the home theater experience it provides. BUT... this costs more than twice as much as my TV did. Sure, that's not exactly an apples to apples comparison. But $1700 is asking A LOT. And for that price I don't think I should be having problems occasionally with input switching. Granted, I'm using a harmony remote and that's a whole other ball of frustrating wax at times - but I suspect these problems have something to do with how the Samsung has to be woken up and returns to the previously used HDMI input upon waking. Just know that if you're using a Harmony or something to create routines where you want this to switch inputs for you that you may run into some difficulty. And then decide whether that's a $1700 headache you want to tackle.

Great sound, easy install, very satisfied. Pretty heavy so use good hardware for wall mount.

So far the soundbar is very good. Great tone and the subwoofer really kicks out the boom.

The WiFi works well and I like the wireless surround speakers work like a charm

At first, this sound bar seemed like a sleek replacement for my 5 speaker system. Fast forward a few months, and most often the rear surround and subwoofer play no audio despite being “connected”. I have tried several things; power cycling, resetting the connection, etc to no avail. The soundbar portion of this package sounds fine, but hugely disappointed in the lack of ease of use and reliability. Samsung missed the mark on this one.

Was super pricey! But definitely worth the money!!! This thing is awesome!!!
