I really wanted to like this device. I was perfectly happy and willing to accept the advertised limits on which phones it works with since I have an S4. I thought the specs were great for the price. The styling is nice. The speed seems pretty decent/acceptable. .. but then you try to use the thing for its advertised features and all that hope and potential dissolves into broken promises, inconsistent behavior, and financial disappointment that I've wasted my money. 1) Either it or the new S4 will not stay connected with or continue to identify one another, so I've had to constantly go back to a factory reset situation more times than I care to remember. The first one I received was a lemon and after at least a dozen or so support calls with Samsung they suggested I return it, which I did for a replacement unit, which only worked marginally better. The first one would not connect to the phone at all and the second one will usually connect, but the devices will not remember one another and I have to reconnect them time and time again. 2) There is some kind of incompatibility with the Google Play Services app. When I try to use the stock included Photo app it says I have to load Google Play Services, which appears to already be loaded and the Play Store will not allow it to be "loaded again". I tried uninstalling updates and re-updating, but this makes no difference. Due to this disconnect there seems to be the same issue with some other Google apps which say I need Google Play Services and then I can't load it. Perhaps Google updated the latest version in some non-compatible manner, but I suspect Samsung's HomeSync software for this device is just out of sync with Android itself. 3) when I have been able to connect my S4 I tried doing some backups from the phone to the HomeSync and it would start and copy a few files, then it would simply freeze and refuse to backup any more files until I re-setup the connection as noted above and start over. Overall a very disappointing experience and waste of money. I only hope there will some day be a corrective update or I can find some other OS to load on it, because it is unusable and frustrating the way it is. P.S. The S4 itself seems to work with everything else just fine.

No need to repeat what others have said. Just want to add that if you install missing apps like Netflx the video looks almost like 15 frames per second and unnatural. This is clearly an incomplete product and should have NOT been put on the market until complete. Specially at $300.

I was so excited to retire my google tv and finally have companion with my note 3. This device exceeded my exceptions.
