Physical installation is quite easy; however, syncing with my Panasonic Viera TV was a bit difficult. I had to go to TV menu and activate the "Viera Links" app, and switch sound system to Home Theater option. If you don't do this, the TV and soundbar may not sync. Once I completed the hardware and software installation, the sound works like a charm. Great quality for an excellent value!

Very good surround sound system

The only problem I have is that sometimes the rear speakers don't turn down far enough for some movies. I have to turn off the rear speakers to hear when the actors are speaking. This is only for movies with major action and when speaking at the same time. I have had this now for about 6 weeks and I am extremely happy I decided to get it.

Great wireless surround system

Easy to set up, works seamlessly with my Samsung tv, and the sound quality is a big step up from my old system. One drawback is that the speakers are not individually adjustable for the room, but the surround sound is effective and sounds right. Would recommend.

There is no volume control for the rear speakers so they are not very loud due to the fact they are pretty far behind me. It works great with my samsung series 8 tv. It has great sound, good base, and is super easy to set up and operate.

Bought it as an open box sale item, but it was in new condition, and everything seems to be working okay. I also bought the Geek Squad Four Year protection plan (just in case). It was pretty easy to set up, and sounds great. Still playing with the connections and settings to determine which one is right for me.

Don’t understand how other people complain about how the sounds supposed to be not working, specially the rear speakers. Mine works beautifully! People need to read the instructions. There are settings that increases the sound levels of the rear speakers!

Not very loud in big spaces. BT connection to apple is laggy and needs to be reconnected every time you turn it on.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-Q65T and for your review. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the enhanced audio experience with your new soundbar.
In all configurations (Optical, Bluetooth, ARC, and Wi-Fi) when the TV is turned ON, the Soundbar will turn ON. If your soundbar is not turning on, it could be due to another reason. For example, if the Soundbar was used to connect to another device (say a smart phone), then it will remember the last device (smart phone) and wait for a command from that device (the smartphone) and ignore the TV ON command.
You may want to try using a HDMI-ARC connection to the TV. When the TV turns ON, it will send a command to turn on the Soundbar and forces the source on the Soundbar to change to HDMI-ARC. This would make the Soundbar change the source from the prior state it was in.

It is my first sound bar and I had very little trouble setting it up. The sound is very good and because I have a Samsung phone I can Tap and Play the music on my phone to the sound bar. It easily connected to the tv to give me the sound I wanted and has directions to tweak the sound your way.

I'd recommend it. Subwoofer, bar sound really good. The extra speakers seem to add little for a room the size of a game room, at least

I am happy with the sound especially from the rear speakers. Although the description states they are wireless, the have to be wired to a wireless receiver. For my use they are more than sufficient. If you go to a higher model sound bar (and higher priced), true wireless speakers are available.
